[Music] Massachusetts Health officials on Thursday announced a second confirmed case of the deadly mosquito born Eastern equine and sephtis virus the detection of the latest case comes after a New Hampshire resident infected with the virus died Eastern eoin and sephtis is one of the most dangerous mosquito born viruses in the world with a fatality rate of up to 30% this virus attacks the brain causing inflammation and often leading to death most people who get the virus do not get the disease but for those who do there is no cure the virus is present in North America and the Caribbean with most human cases occurring in the eastern and Gulf Coast states of the US the virus circulates in birds in hardwood swamps and spreads to humans through mosquito bites officials in some Massachusetts towns have urged people to avoid going Outdoors at night because of concerns over the virus don't take this lightly share to keep friends and family safe
