have you ever eagerly anticipated a new season of your favorite home renovation show only to be left Feeling underwhelmed by the reality that was my experience when I was recently visited the construction site of the Block's upcoming season set on picturesque Philip Island the network had marketed it as a Tropical Haven but what I found a chilly and drafty townhouse development while the finished houses were modern and beautiful the exterior design and gloomy climate left much to be desired and as I explored the site I couldn't help but notice the start contrast between the markting materials and the actual scene the trayer promised a tropical setting for the Australian Dream but the nearest beach was a 20-minute walk away the development was surrounded by contemporary structures encroaching on the Tropical Paradise the network had promised and instead despite the appealing exterior design of these homes the interior lacked the unique personas I had expected instead contemporary fashion trends gave several the spaces a similar Hue and Mild the network had uh made a commendable effort in creating a lush tropical amance within the complex it didn't meet the high expectations set by the uh marketing materials with that said uh I'm excited to see how the story line unfolds as one of the participating teams decides to leave the show prematurely during their competition the sudden departure of the blue team due to a tough dilemma and a powerful motivation promises a highly dramatic turn of events uh in the end uh the the success of a show like the block lies not only in the final product but also in the journey to get there while the reality of the Philip Island location may not have lived up to the hype I'm eager to see how the story unfolds and how the remaining teens rise to the same challenge with that said thanks for watching and until next
