Why Britney Spears May Still Owe Child Support to Kevin Federline After Jayden Turns 18

Britney Spears may still have to pay child  support to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline,   even after their son Jayden turned 18. Although  Jayden is now legally an adult, California laws   require that child support payments continue  until the child graduates from high school,   or reaches 19, whichever comes first. Jayden's  high school graduation is expected in November,   so Britney’s payments will  likely continue until then. Britney's relationship with  her sons, Sean and Jayden,   has been strained in recent years. In 2023, the  boys moved to Hawaii with their father to get   away from the media attention in Los Angeles.  While the public hasn’t seen much of them,   they did open up about their family dynamics in  a 2022 documentary. Jayden expressed his hope   to eventually repair their relationship,  but mentioned that it would take time. Britney, in response, has  been vocal on social media,   showing her love and hoping that one  day her sons understand her struggles.   Despite the challenges, she continues  to send her love and support to them.
