Williams price Stadium home of the South Carolina game CL always loud and passionate these folks are ready to Roar we've got a really compelling contest here a team that's earned a top 25 ranking heading on the road for a serious test of their Poise and their medal as we'll see the number 13 team of the country the LSU Tigers taking on another team from the SEC the South Carolina game Cops 3A sports college football I'm Chris F here in the boo Street I think we've talked long enough let's get this game [Applause] going the game c kick this deep start us off he's going to return it from near the goal line the cover SE brings him down at the 26 and the LSU off so LSU's offense is going to get the chance to start this game off here comes the tight end who's having such a great season C he talked to opponents and they always use the same phrase matchup nightmare this guy well what stands out to me with this guy is it's not very often you're right the defensive coordinators are most concerned about a tight end but in this case that is exactly what we're dealing with this guy can hurt you in so many different ways everything about this play tells you about today's offenses and what they asking out of their running backs you can't just be a guy who runs the football anymore you have to be able to catch it as well and he didn't do a very good job with it on this play looking to throw it's nsme short throw to the sideline forced out after just a short game defense sh them out of bounds not much of a game there they're able to get a short game to make this third down a little bit more manageable but it is third and long this defensive Line's got to be ready do a good job of communicating and pick up any potential blitzes here on Third and long they call the draw play here they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one man a defensive coordinator has to be fired up about this play the thing that he has to love is that his defense and their technique was right on point they didn't lose their leverage they stay with the play and didn't just go after the quarterback on making a way on the field he's on to boot it away now and the returner decides to Signal fair catch so the South Carolina Gamecock offense takes the field our first chance to see them today M K let's take a quick look at the impact players for today's game how they're going to affect the outcome these are your leaders on the field and in the lock these are your go-to guys not only when you need a play to be made but also when you need somebody to Rally your team and they'll stop him short at the line to game you the era that we live in right now everybody wants to spread the field around try to create space try to create oneone matchups and the defense has countered over the years by trying to play out wide but here's a great example the defense has the ability to play wide but still be solid at the line of scrimmage and not give up big run plays no connection there the pass is incomplete I'm a big fan of the rbo but it is a dangerous play for the quarterback you got to make the right decision on this play it just seemed like he was a little hesitant unsure and it cost him here with an incompletion so it's third and long from the 29 the defense play coverage or Blitz dropping back we going to throw for the first down grab down the middle it's Sanders and he's tackled just short of that first down marker good job by the defense Chris great effort here by this defense to keep him short of the first down now they've got a tough decision to make here on this fourth down and short the Gamecock will line up to put it away running it back it's Thomas and the return will be brought down okay so here comes the LSU offense back on the field this group was coming off a quick three and out can they put something together in this drive oh it's incomplete almost disastrous play here on the opening drive it's going to bring up second down pretty nice catch here but a missed opportunity for an interception let's face it a lot of these Defenders they've got it all speed athleticism but end sometimes a little questionable as we saw here and the QB will try again on second and 10 the catch is made for a huge pickup and he'll take it into the end zone touchdown by you Bengals this guy can do it all we've seen him go behind coverage and make plays downfield we can see him catch the ball underneath just like this and when he catches a football he is so dangerous after the catch this one leads him into the end zone for the six points [Music] so they'll try to add to the lead now with the [Applause] p p is good so it's seven nothing that makes the score lsth Carina kickoff team is on the field to move this one away [Applause] Fields it inside the 5yd line he's tackled at the 21 that's where the driver start and the South Carolina offense is back out on the field last time was a quick three and out and they get a drive going this time grab behind the line it's harber they bring down the receiver but that's a nice gain on that play well they don't pick up the first down here but if you can use the quick passing game to stay ahead of the chains it definitely helps your off defense and if that defense starts to creep up to take that away that's when you can take a shot down field and the Gamecocks will hustle to the line to crank the [Applause] tempo ball handed off after second effort he's brought down but it's past the marker look I realize on any play call properly executed it can go to the house for but the runs really a game plan work are the ones where you get just what you need and he barely got the first down but he got it first down and 10 a hand off to the back it's good for a three yd game so second and seven see that's how you limit what an offense wants to do this time the defense just won the battle up front at the line of scrimmage not giving up any big plays everybody's Gap sound it's really solid def defense on that play offense getting set second down play [Applause] here the backs got it and he's tackled right at the 40 yd line they didn't bust that for a big play but it makes this third down coming up a little bit more manageable and that certainly has a lot of [Music] value the offense now looking at a third and short from their own 40 trying to keep this drive [Applause] going looking to pick up the first down through the air that's incomplete very nearly intercepted that time man on your own side of the field you're playing a risky game here third and short your goal should just be keep this drive alive the best way you can sometimes is just hand the ball off to your running back and have him get behind that offensive line and go to curious to see what they do now here on this fourth and short and fourth down they'll punt it away here on the return it's Thomas and the returner is tackled by this punt coverage team and here comes that LSU offense back onto the field they punch it into the end zone the last time let's see if this defense has made some adjustments to stop him this time it's a two yd gain second and eight hey it's a great job of this defense containing the running game but if I'm calling the plays I'm not abandoning the running game just yet I think it's important to have some sense of balance so throwing and running is essential stick with it offense getting set up here's second [Applause] down it's an option look and now it's fumble what a decision looks like the defense has it first down play call how aggressive will it be I get being upset at the ball Carri coughing up the ball but let's not ignore how big of a hit that was sometimes just have to give credit to the defender for making a great [Music] play the Gamecocks looking to crank up the tempo a bit dropping back it's sers quick throw over the middle looks down field and connects with a wide open receiver all carria tackled at the two a solid gain the completion well the defense knows it might take more than one tackler to bring this tight end down well anytime as a defense you always want to Rally to the football but against this guy you especially want to do that cuz you saw he breaks through that first arm tackle I thought he might be able to pick up even more yards but good job of getting extra hats to the ball on the ground trying to muscle it across the line no gain there oh he spotted with the two again that's an excellent effort here by this defense staying in their run fits they holding their own at the line and making the tackle the offense just couldn't get enough of a push to get anything going there coming up second down and goal on the ground trying to power toward the goal line they tackle him behind the line a loss of four boy this defense is strong up front linebackers are flying downhill able to make plays against this run game now they get this offense to another third down now you pressure that quarterback and try to build on the lead ball at the 6yd line now it's third and [Applause] goal drops back from the shotgun looking for an open man pressure is coming Junior steps up and makes an impact play well they're making this offensive line really think and communicate bringing different blitzes this time the outside linebacker gets to the quarterback and comes up with a big sack for the [Applause] D so they're short on fourth down and the coach decides to trot out the field goal team [Applause] team long enough and good I was watching this guy in pregame he has got a strong leg I'm surprised here he's able to put three points up here for the offense [Music] [Music] following the field goal the kickoff team is out there now and he'll bring it out from inside the 10 he'll be tackled at the 18 that's good coverage there and that by Bengals offense is back out on the field a formable the last possession only led to a field goal can they shake off that mistake and get it going here run it up the middle but stuff for no game well the defensive mind does their job eating up those double teams freeing up the backers to make the [Applause] play second down play coming [Applause] up takes the hand off again they'll tackle him right at the 25 yd line if you can get good chunks of yardage like this on early Downs it just keeps you on scheduled leading to more manageable third down sit ation never underestimate the value of consistently getting four more yards of play so the offense faces a third and manageable here from the 25 yd line dropping back it's nus me running back has it on the screen now they bring him down but not before he gains first down yardage that's a great feeling when your quarterback can make a throw it keeps the drive alive not as good as a touchdown but it's a lot better than having to trot over to the sideline waiting for your turn to get another chance LSU getting set with a first and 10 coming [Applause] up they flip it to him on the Jet Sweep there's a loss after the completion that's a good play by the defense this is a great job of being prepared by this defense almost anticipating this play they're in position to bring him down for a loss second down play coming up for this offense he drops back in the gun SS are quick throw tackled quickly after the catch he'll be short of the marker well the defense didn't have any time at all to get pressure on his quarterback he gets the ball out of his hands pretty quickly on the hitch to the receiver that completion sets up a third down play droping back we going to throw for the first down cannot Escape that ferocious pass rush to sack nothing is more gratifying for a defense to be able to sit back and play zone and still get pressure on the quarterback with your defensive front one team ready to boot it away looking to flip the field [Applause] here he'll call for the fair catch here first down play call coming up how aggressive will it [Applause] be tight end goes in motion before the snap off the play fake looking to throw on first down put a fly of the wide out he pulls in the catch heads out of bounds after a solid game more than enough to pick up a first [Music] [Applause] down it's LSU on top as we take a break for the quarter and at the end of the first quarter let's check out the stats so far plenty of time for some plot twists here as we begin the second quarter about time this offense gets going it's a first and 10 here comes a handoff the gate is two yds brings up a second down and seven Christino the spread era over the years has always gr offensively but what I've been always impressed with when defenses that really build their defense to play in space still have an ability to be sound at the line of scrimmage and defend a running game it's exactly what we saw right [Applause] there scanning the field it's sers receiver makes the catch they stop him but it's a first down the Freshman quarterback showing what a cannon he's got B you sit back and play zone defense like this what you allow is your defense to have eyes on the football here they give up the catch but you can see how they rally to the football there's just nowhere to go for this slot receiver the Gamecocks will hustle to the line here to run the hurry [Applause] up off the play fake looking to throw and he's going to fling it deep going for it all here oh and it's nearly picked off could not hold on to the ball In The End Zone sets up second down boy not only did they droplet look like an interception in their own End Zone they blew a golden opportunity to shift the momentum in their favor so after the incompletion it's second down again thrown out of the RP and it's complete they make the tackle but not before a solid gain on that pass when you throw an outout against man coverage and it puts a premium under receiver who can set up the defensive back to be able to still have room to get to the outside and be timed up with a quarterback that was great [Applause] execution can he get there on the ground they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one well it seemed like the offense is trying to throw some kind of misdirection with that run there but give credit to the defense they were prepared for anything and they swallowed that running back up nice defensive stand the coach chooses to go for a field goal attempt here this will be a long range attempt 51 yds out and field goal is good kick boy this guy had plenty of leg here too TR you remember the days when a kick from 50 plus was a major accomplishment now these guys knock these out like they're almost automatic [Music] [Music] They Come Away with three points on the drive and now the kickoff team will Bove away here return it from inside the 10 yd line and the cover team brings it down at the 26 okay so here comes the LSU offense back on the field they're trying to build on their lead they were forced to punt on the last possession the sure hands it's Daniels defense surrounds him just a short gain on that completion just a good job here by the quarterback got the ball out to his receiver his guy eats up some yards they stay ahead of the sticks second down after that previous play [Applause] they'll keep it on the ground running back has a hand off S with a strong tackle [Music] there that game sets up a third down play looking to pick up the first down through the air he's got an up man downfield and it's caught they bring him down but a big chunk of yardage on the play well it's third down the defense knows he's going to get the ball you still can't stop the quarterback finding this receiver to be able to pick up another first down for this offense LSU getting set with a first and 10 now [Applause] using his legs it's Williams Man game brought now short of the marker but the defense coordinator this week all week telling us about Gap Integrity not giving this running back any Crees at all really sound defense on that play getting set here's second [Applause] down to throw it's NM the pass is intercepted he's got some room and some blockers here the 20 pass the 10 touchdown game Cs and the defense add six with the interception return or a takeaway and the touchdown that is just a dream play for any Defender Cur well let's start with the interception I just love the fact that he got his eyes turned around found the football and then has the athletic ability to be able to secure it then he goes back to High School running back days and shows you what he can do with the ball in his hands and takes it all the way back for a touchdown beautiful [Applause] [Music] thing so they try to add to the lead now with the [Applause] p make the exra point and go up six [Applause] [Music] pickoff teams come on the field now to send this one away set on the the Turner looking to make a play here he'll be tackled at the 17 strong job by the coverage team and here comes that LSU offense back onto the field let's see if they can bounce back from that costly mistake last time a pick six they'll bring him down after just a short pick up nice solid run here by this back did a nice job of just kind of finding that lane pick up some positive yards there on First and [Applause] 10 white outs now [Applause] clustered from the shotgun it's a hand off that game moves the ball out near the 25 I feel like they call that knowing chances are they're not going to hit a home run look at this this put themselves in a perfect third down situations much more manageable now we'll see if they can convert four down coming up after that running play looking downfield it's nus me looking for the tight end and it's caught he's tackled quickly but the yardage is good enough for the first down well this is called settling down in his own defense just kind of finding that soft spot so not only does this tight end show that he's got great great athletic ability and great size here he shows me he understands coverage by sitting down in that hole giving the quarterback a nice Target able to pick up that first down quarterback still with the football tackle made after just a short gain not exactly the outcome this offense was hoping for here on the option I'll give them credit they didn't lose anything so it wasn't a negative play but this kind of play's got to be able to hit big and get down the sidelines for big yards offense get set it's second down and the ball is handed off out of the shotgun and the defense able to hold him there in a short [Music] game one of those critical third down plays coming up dropping back we going to throw for the first down looking down field CAU over the middle it's Jackson rips off a big gain all the way to the Plus 43 yd line it's so easy to get caught up in the receivers and the quarterback and your eyes get lost you forget about the running back nice catch and a first down for this offense this LSU offense is moving quickly down the field and the quarterback keeps it here they'll stop him behind the line for loss and one but the linebackers are really the quarterback of the defense on this ball diagnosed that three quickly and executed it flawlessly just blew in and blew up the option play for a loss what's the play call here on second down for this offense [Applause] they'll run it out of the shotgun defense stps him but that's a solid game it's not a huge gain here but if you add up multiple runs like that throughout the course of a game by the fourth quarter going to start to see that effec ofat Mis Drive they converted twice on third down they need six yds here dropping back it's nus receiver makes the grab the defense stops him just short of the marker that'll bring up four [Music] down so here on fourth down out comes the field goal team that's the two-minute warning in this close first half the offense trying to score and clean the lead before the break this will be a long range attempt 51 yds out so here comes the kicking team on the field they'll settle for three it's a fake looking to pass for it here's a fumble way behind line of scrimmage offense recovers the fumble maintains possession took a shot but the gamble doesn't work and that decision will be questioned if pass on the field goal try and the Gamecocks offense is back out there on the field they got points on the board last time thanks to a long range field goal first down looking to throw the ball grab down the middle it's Simon they get him out the game moves the ball with a plus 40 [Applause] [Music] [Applause] new set of downs for the offense first and 10 there's the snap looking to throw the ball caught over the middle it's Simon they stopped the receiver but that's a solid gain on that play that's a good job here staying ahead of the chains good pick up here on first down the quarterback hits the safety valve that time the big tight end that'll bring up the second manageable here for this offense here's the second down play [Applause] scanning the field it's sers oh it's incomplete that's a good job of the defender to break that up some players just have a real M for timing their jump and that Defender was able to get a big pull on the ball and bat it away after the incompletion they come to the line with third and one looking to Chuck it again delivers from the pocket complete over the middle you pick up the first half the 23 getting closer to the Red Zone well when you play zone defense on third down and you don't get pressure from your defensive line you're going to give a quarterback a lot of time to be able to find an open receiver and eventually get the first down not surprised at all that they're able to convert looking to throw it on first down grab down the middle it's brown they make the tackle but that pass creates a solid game quarterback looks downfield to make this throw he wants to be able to get the ball to be able to pick up enough yards for a first down but instead gets the ball at least underneath to the drag route and gets some positive yards here comes a crucial second down play every yard tough to find down here in the red zone and he'll set up to throw CAU over the middle it's Simon they bring him down at the seven the offense set up now with a first and goal this offense is clicking and clearly everything seems to be working coordinators calling good plays the quarterback and the rest of his receivers and running backs are executing and frankly this defense is showing almost no resistance from the shotgun he's bbing the secondary grab behind the line it's Simon tackled at the two after the completion the defense really up against it now and a quick timeout call by the offense after the play I mean we're not even to halftime yet and I don't think this guy wants to take a break once we get to the half that's his fifth catch and Counting he try to muscle toward the end zone on the ground he goes nowhere two straight stops thir down up Chris textbook job by the defense surrounding the runner and preventing that play from being bounced to the outside one more play before they head to the locker room so what timeout is called just a few seconds left here in the first half Carolina so it's third down but out comes the field goal unit they'll try to add three points before halftime they'll set up at the right hash mark So a tricky angle here this one is right through well they almost put a touchdown on the board but instead they come away with three points [Music] [Applause] so here's the kickoff now offense settling for green tacking on a little bit of momentum before the halftime break return begins inside the 10 be brought down and that will wrap up the first half of play and that will do it for the first half here Kevin Conor now has our halftime update then it is hard to beat Columbia when that town is buzzing as it is today and it' be easy to say these two offenses are glad we've hit halftime based on their respective performances it would also be accurate turnovers and sacks have told the story so far and you got to believe the the play calling has been the issue right time to shred those game plans and just get back to basics either way it's time to find out back to the best of the biz for the start of this third [Applause] quarter and they'll kick it off get the second [Music] [Applause] half and he takes this from inside the five and they've got the return of Corral and the South Carolina offense is back on our field he decides to keep it here goes backwards losing three yards there boy quarterback does everything right except pitch the football the defensive end's going to take him which is great that's what you want but you got to get that ball out quicker to not allow that defensive end to make that play they're behind the sticks on second and long here from the 12 [Applause] back to throw it's sers looks at the sideline and a tight throw catch May there good completion BR up [Applause] third well a serious challenge for this offense you don't want to be in third and long inside your own 20 how much of a risk will they take to try to pick up this first down here's a screen pass to the running back he's brought down good job by the defense getting through the blockers he'll be stopped short of the first down the offense get some positive yards here but they're going to be short of the first down marker to set up fourth down really good job by the defensive tackling and the awareness to keep him short of that first down Mark the Gamecock will line up to punt it away son to kick it away helping his team with field position [Applause] he's got a crease here look out he's brought down but a good effort to make something of that return and that bay Bengals offense is back out on the field they'll run it here they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one Tris I'll be really honest with you I don't know why they continue to try to run the football I'm all about balance I'm all about trying to make sure defense has to defend the run and the throw but at this point in the game they haven't been able to run theall oh they're going to have to go through the air if they're going to come back and take the lead in this game at some point quarterback wants to throw it on second down that's going to be incomplete a lot of contact no flag brings up third [Music] down urgency now for the offense that hatte to come up empty on this drive down multiple scores drops back looking to throw for it on third down and just gives up on the play throws it away and now it's an work down well they go to the air to try to pick up this first down but it just wasn't meant to be defense was ready made sure to force them into this fourth down situation here comes the punter onto the field and he boots it out of bounds not very long the pump will go out of bounds taking the returner out of play and the Gamecock offense is back out there on the field and now the handoff they'll tackle him right at the 3 point it's exactly what you want to see as a play caller you get positive yards to be able to kind of keep you on schedule as a play caller that's all you can ask for good job up front in a nice run the Coxs come to the line in the hurry up back to pass it's sers receiver looks it in it's complete defense wraps him up after the catch but is just short of a first down Chris it's so easy to get excited about the receivers on the outside and their ability to make big plays but the slot receivers are just as exciting especially with their finesse quickness and ability to make guys miss in the middle of that [Applause] field third down it's a hand off and they'll move the six on that one it's a first down to the 42 how impressive these guys went up front today big third down know what you need to do get the first down continue to hold on to that lead continue to work clock and get that much closer to securing a victory the Gamecocks come to the line to set a fresh set of downs on first down why not keep it on the ground theault were able to bring him down quickly different pre- snap look from the linebackers now important second down play coming [Applause] up out of the shotgun he hands it off tackled up near Midfield at the 48 I'll take that every single time offensive line does a nice job up front this back's vision and ability to get positive yards by lowering his hands on full display right there there third down play looking for a fresh set of [Applause] downs offense moving receivers around now before the snap looking to throw it's sers quick throw to the left side looks down field and finds a receiver who worked his way wide open that game will pick up a first down and move the football to 36 well this quarterback is on the FL here they are working with the lead in the second half get to a third down you got to throw the football this is where you trust the quarterback to make a good decision an accurate throw he does it you convert and you keep working that clock on first down it's play action fires it to the wide out it's complete what a grab you're the Seline it's a big game before he goes out of bounds it'll move the sticks more than enough for a first down it's a great play for the offense but let's give all the credit to the offensive line for that play the quarterback makes the throw but he couldn't have done it without the time that they provided the Gamecocks hustle to the line to run that hurry up he's going to hand this off got a lane can he get in and he runs it in for the score touchdown South Carolina how important was that touchdown now a two possession game here in the second half it's a great job with this offense with their execution and having situational awareness here in the second half they now have as you said Chris's two possession lead they got a great chance to finish it off and get a win [Music] [Applause] [Music] coach makes the decision to go for a two-point conversion keep it on the ground trying to power in for the touchdown and he goes Airborne over the pile it work the two-point try [Music] [Applause] wow now the get set to kick it away set to kick this Fields it just outside the goal line sto at the 22 that's pretty solid coverage there okay so here comes the LSU offense back on the field they coming off a three and out looking to produce a positive drive here using the ground game here tailback has the hand off listen you don't always have to have big plays to be successful it's a nice solid game here keeps you on schedule and you get ready for that next play second down after that run on the previous play they'll give it to the back they stop him at the 34 that will be a first down you know offensive linemen are just a certain bre they're always going to do their job no matter who's back there carrying the ball I tell you what they have a little bit more confidence when the person that's carrying the ball can break off some big time runs that makes him block just a little bit harder knowing what he's potentially capable of doing they'll try the ground game here with the running back nothing doing in that play the big DET tackle there for the Stop well they keep trying to run the football and they keep getting dominated at the line of scrimmage that has been a theme throughout this entire game we've talked about it earlier in the game it's not changing at all they become onedimensional I think it's allowed this defense to really lock in on that quarterback going with the old counter run here solid game moves the ball to a 43 but throughout this game they've shed a number of their base run plays in the first half so it's good to Mi in the counter here in the second half just in case the defense is starting to over pursue keep an eye and if they pull that play again maybe later in this game third down this offense could really use a conversion here down multiple [Applause] scores can they pick up the first on the ground looks like LSU has the first down well that shows you the trust they have in their offensive line in this running game to get to a third down just trying to come up with a way to be able to keep this drive alive keep hope alive that you can come back in this game you rely on Old Reliable with that offensive line and they come through for you this LSU offense is moving quickly down the field takes the ball tries the right side here breaks loose at the 40 and a big game before he goes out of bounds the offense keeps churning gets a fresh set of downs how about setting the edge there on the right side of that offensive line I wouldn't be surprised if they keep going back to the well pounding it behind that Right Guard and right tackle and tight end seeing what additional damage they can do LSU getting set with a first and 10 coming up [Applause] caught in the back field it's lacy it's a fumble it's a turnover how about this defense flying in there trying to get their hat on the ball they do and they're able to pounce on it for a big turnover [Music] and the South Carolina offense is back out on the field the last possession was a beautiful balanced touchdown drive and the defense come up with answers this time a gain of two yards now it's second down and eight defense does a really nice job here being able to contain that run game held him just for two yards Chris to me this changes the Playbook a little bit now for the offense the guy calling the plays at second day that's a different deal now he's got a thinking about going through the air instead of staying on the ground to throw it's sers it's a quick round they bring him down but an explosive play by this offense big game you know we talked this week with the offens coordinator about what makes this receiver so special he kept referring to his route running here's an example of that great route enough separation to give the quarterback a nice Lane to throw the football the Gamecock will come to the line to crank up the tempo and looking to throw now on first down he just throws the ball away there nobody open excellent coverage incomplete so it's second down ATT [Applause] 10 makes a quick grab defense reacts quickly a very short gain on the FL boy wide receiver screen can be hit or miss either receiver finds a nice crease and picks up Big yards or the defense completely negates that the team speed from the defense here wins that play they're backed up here trying to make something been happen on Third and [Applause] long dropping back you're going to throw for the first down the pass rush closing in can't find anybody on third down throws it away and now fourth down coming [Music] up and the gamec will bring their punt team on F back out to pun for the fourth time today not a very good boot sets up the offense in great field position they'll set up at the 26 for the first play of this [Applause] drive that one Falls incomplete good defensive play brings up second down I'm not sure the quarterback makes the right decision on this one I think if he do it over again he would have found a different Target downfield but he made his decision that one's incomplete here comes the bunch [Applause] formation using his legs it's Williams they bring him down to the 32 yd line and notice how the balance of this passing game has been on display for a whole bunch of guys getting involved catching passes that's tough to [Music] stop so one final quarter of play it's going to take a lot to turn this game around but strange things do happen in college football grab down the middle it's Anderson and he's tackled but only after picking up a first down this is a big conversion by this offense they're down now in this second half probably Limited opportuni at this point in the game every chance you get your hands on the ball you need points they keep this drive alive right here fresh set it down for the offense first down to the air it's nus me lets it Go quickly but they don't make the connection that one is incomplete that's a misfire there Chris this got to be able to get into sink and find a down the field looking to throw it again he's running out of time here they got him to sack for the defense well that takes the right out of your Sails this offense is trying to find a way to get back into this game and another pressure and a sack against their quarterback we'll see if they can overcome the sack second and very long here's the snap he's looking to throw first coming and they've got him again CH I'm really surprised by the way this game has turned out that's another sack by this defense they've done such a great job of preparing a plan to get ready one of the top quarterbacks in of your receivers that can make a play for him after the incompletion QB tries it again on second and 10 the pass is picked off look out he's got some space touchdown South Carolina wow what a play of something happen that's good coverage there that b Bengals offense is back out on the field they have got to bounce back on this possession after throwing a pick six last time out here with the catch it's Taylor but a huge hit by the linebacker what a tackle well we just continue to see this defense make great plays especally with their tackling and the awareness to understand where in the fourth quarter they're trying to keep this offense inbounds so they keep that clock moving pass caught second down [Applause] now back to pass it's NM looking to make a play deep down field defense breaks it up nice play incomplete Qui Chris the offense takes a shot down field and this Defender does a great job making a play on the ball not only that he tips that ball up into the air good chance for the defense to come up with an interception there offense looking to convert on Third and short from the 27 from the shotgun drops back caught quickly and the play is good enough for a first down they'll move the ball to the 44 finally good for them they come up with a big play like this let's face it offense has been at a premium for these guys you wonder where plays like this have been all game long LSU getting set with a first and 10 [Applause] now and the quarterback looking to make a play through the air they give the running back a touch in the pass game catch made over the middle on the running back that time just kind of sneaks out of the back field and shows his hands on that nice catch that completion makes it second and medium here's the snap quarterback drops back SNS the quick throw and game just good enough for a first down and there's the tight end who shows off his hands up for a first [Applause] down this LSU offense is moving quickly down the field [Applause] first down looking to throw the football it's caught downfield not much after the catch but it is good enough for a first down tack at 32 yd and first down for the offense a new set of downs after that completion back to throw again caught over the middle it's Williams tackle made at the 21 but this offense is in great position to add more points defense kind of lost the running back here makes a nice catch and gets the first down in the process the drive stays alive with that first down completion takes the hand off it's Jackson a tackle is made after four yd gain so second and six BR up looking to pass it's NM launching one to the end zone oh and it's batted down by the defense great to deny a touchdown Chris tipped up into the air and it's anybody's football the defense first of all does a great job of anticipating a throw down in the red zone and they're in great position to knock that ball up but it was exciting to see would anybody come up with it once it was in the air they're going to run it that's a good effort on the run but the defense stops it just short the marker fourth down now how about that Chris they run the football here on third down almost pick up the first down what it does though is gives them a much better chance if they decide to go for this and picking up that first down so down by multiple possessions here the offense will try to convert here on fourth down he's got it that is enough for a first down G moves the ball to the seven yd line offense has a first and goal now how about this guy making this throw I mean they have harassed him all game long and here we are in the fourth quarter he takes another hit and this time gets enough on it to be able to complete it great play by the quarterback the offense knocking on the door with a first and goal and the back now goes in motion here's the snap quarterback looking to throw and with little open he Cho to just throw it away [Applause] offense facing second and [Applause] goal and the quarterback dropping back on the junior gets home making a sack there and just like that you squeeze the life out of this offense that's another sack by this defense they have been in that back field the entire game and a big reason why these guys are enjoying a lead [Applause] the offense facing a third and goal from a long way away to throw it's nus me looking to the end zone and he's got it touchdown Tigers Love This Never Say Die attitude from this quarterback he's still slinging it out theree this game's Out Of Reach but this guy's still putting the ball in the air and this one's a touchdown [Music] and they'll set up with the p for the extra [Applause] point and it's up and good the kick is good that makes the score South Carolina 38 LSU 14 looks like they're lining up to attempt an onside kick set [Applause] Ki and looks like the hands team are able to recover the football and the Gamecocks offense is back out there on the field [Music] hand off to the back they'll keep the clock moving and he's brought down after a short gain does not make the first down yardage second down after that run on the previous play and that's the two-minute warning offense looking to run out the clock and secure an impressive win here today offense getting set second down play [Applause] here ball handed off that's a nice tackle there by the senior [Music] offense been in Reverse here now a long way to go to convert this third [Applause] down he'll hand it off and they'll stop him just short of the marker good effort but the defense holds now it's Fourth Down coming up fourth down the Gamecocks will line up to kick it away in form to kick it [Applause] away that punt carries into the end zone so a Touchback okay so here comes the LSU offense back on the field at this point there's not much you can do except play for Pride quick throw to his receiver he's got it tackle made after a big gain now the offense will take a timeout here with 30 seconds remaining nice play to start the drive they near Midfield here for first and 10 to the air it's NM and it's incomplete the defender arrive the same time as the football and now it's second down boy this offense has really struggled today Chris when it comes to throwing the football they have dug themselves a huge hole they're not going to have any chance of coming back and I think one thing about this is you wonder where you go from here you're hoping to make a play or two to give yourself a belief that things can get better but it's just been a disastrous day for the offense going for his running Backle this time it's complete that's a big game before he goes out of bounds it'll move the sticks more than enough for a first down man and with that completion right there this quarterback now has gone over 300 yard in this game what a day LSU getting set with a first and 10 coming up they snap it quarterback looking to throw the ball and he throws his third interception of the day not a great return but the important thing that P wipes out his scoring threat set the offense up to the 31 boy would this quarterback love to have this one back they're trying to work themselves back into this game here in the second half and the defense comes up with a big turnover that could be the nail in the coffin so this one is tucked away time for victory formation looks like the offense will just take a KN
