welcome to Vancouver College our faith and learning community as you know the safety of our students is our top priority and that starts at drop off in the morning and ends with pickup in the afternoon so thank you for taking the time to learn how we do that properly when you drop off students in the morning There are rules to keep us safe let us show you how you can help keep me and my fellow students stay safe middle and senior students drop off is on Hudson Street you must travel one way southbound and drop off your sun on the school cite to access this Zone please enter Hudson Street from 37th Avenue traveling southbound only flaggers are present during drop off to help your son's Journey to the school 38th Avenue is closed to parents in order for us to keep it free for the fire department please do not stop in front of the fire hydrant or in front of the entrance or exit to the staff parking L and if your son needs access to the trunk of the car for any reason please arrive early where traffic is light this will prevent your son from being between Vehicles during a busy moving drop off in this drop off Zone cross rocks are present at 37th and 38th Avenue there's no crossrock at 39th Avenue so please do not drop off your Sun at this location elementary students should be dropped off on Cartier Street to access this Zone please enter from 41st Avenue and travel Northbound only dropping off your son on the curb side of the school please be mindful of marked crosswalks and no stopping sides above parent volunteers will be present to wave you forward to drop your son off in a safe location make sure your students backpack is nearby for a quick exit at curbside if you are parking and walking to the school please park on 37th Avenue there are flaggers present and marked crosswalks to help you access the school safely when you attend the school during pickup and drop off please do not pull into the staff parking lot the safety of your son is one of the most important things to us we care and we know you care too so please share this video with anyone who's involved in your son's journey to and from the school if you're interested in volunteering to be a part of Safe Streets please go to the onv volunteers website or contact the school office for more information [Music]
