Weekend Storm Threat, Localized Flood Risk Settles Over Ontario

if you have any plans to be outdoors across Southern Ontario this weekend it's not going to be ideal we have this trough that's draped over the region and it's going to bring with it heavy rainfall especially through areas of Cottage Country and then up towards regions of eastern Ontario upwards of 30 to 50 millimeters of rain but that is also going to accompany with it quite a bit of risk of some thunderstorms now we have plenty of thunderstorm energy with this low pressure system and for sat Saturday we are looking at a widespread risk of some severe possible storms the biggest risk is going to be that large hail nickel size or greater now it's going to be as the slow pressure system passes across regions of Southern Ontario a Lake Breeze boundaries also setting up that's what's going to help to trigger some of these thunderstorms going through Saturday afternoon stretching down from sardia all the way up towards regions of berry very scattered in nature however as we head into our day on Sunday that risk is still going to be in play but now for Eastern parts of eastern Ontario widespread across regions of Southern Ontario the risk of some scattered thunderstorms but non- severe in nature Still Remains [Music] [Music]
