series B player [Applause] [Applause] [Music] uh okay uh obviously a very disappointed Oscar Pareja uh result a great opportunity for us to escalate on standings and and uh and obviously continue with what we have uh had in the last few games but definitely today was not a good day for us uh we start the game sharp uh had a few uh options to score uh but after that I thought we we didn't have a good game we were loaded in energy I thought we didn't have the intensity that has uh characterized this group all the time and um obviously we need to move on second help was hardless but I didn't I didn't see us with that willness that we all have I take responsibility of us of course the preparation of the group and the reactions after this uh uh two weeks and uh today we we we didn't look the majority of the time like like a we are so disappointed we're going to review but we have to move on and continue what what is coming go to Michael citro for two Oscar thanks for your time um the obviously this is not a performance you expect expected from your team was was there any sign of this in the last two weeks that that you might see a performance like this tonight just that lack of cohesion no not at all Michael really we were very uh optimistic today was the we had a an inter squad over the weekend and and uh difficult to simulate the game but uh the metrics and numbers and everything tell us that we can continue with that momentum that we had but uh today I didn't see that energy and definitely with the players after the game we discussed and then the the energy wasn't there and it's a big responsibility for us as a coaches and as a players but uh you're right Michael today was a very disappointing performance with the uh with the stoppage time included you guys played up aand for 35 minutes and did not register a shot on target I mean what obviously they they dropped their block low they stayed Compact and organized defensively but you know what can you do in that situation to I mean because that seemed like a Lifeline back into the game at that point right right no we had time uh enough uh to equalize the game especially when um they end up doing with playing with 10 players uh but uh you're right we didn't have uh uh the that resolution that eagerness and in the last 20 mes we were moving the wall but we didn't find spaces just to hurt them it looks like how we could have played longer uh without succeeding in the last uh part of the field we'll go over to Austin David for a couple Oscar when when the team concedes right before halftime after getting some good momentum especially in that first 10 minutes how how disheartening is it just to you know going into the locker room and uh having just conceited and how did you kind of feel that the um the the mood was at the halftime kind of coming into the second half all right obviously it's frustrating when you have uh those opportunities that we create in the last 15 minutes and and and and recognize or see that the game is still one is still z z and then after that we can see that goal and we start dropping our level that's when I felt that we were not uh with the energy that we start the game or there's a characteristic of the team and and uh and we couldn't get back to it we we couldn't get back to it and then in the second half not even with one more a player we couldn't impose a rhythm uh and uh and then definitely that's that's that's what happened there it's not excuses at all I thought we didn't have uh a good game at all we we didn't play well the majority of them or just have uh 15 minutes in the first half when we were aggressive and we create our chances and then after that uh that's not the Orlando that we recognized kind of talked earlier in the week just about that that two week break of of having that good run of form leading into League's cup and then heading into that knockout round and then having this this big gap and trying to find that form back again how how do you kind of take this match now and and try and find that form again um you know with a result like this yeah we can we can look around and see uh uh reasons and U we can obviously just pass this frustration finding any of those things but uh this is uh this is not us and uh beside or just those 15 minutes we couldn't get our energy back it's not the Orlando City intensity that we play uh all the time so um not not excuses we we can look up and and and see how it's been these two weeks obviously because it's our responsibility as a professionals but uh but we're not not excuses we we're prepared and uh we have the capacity and we have the the players and we have the coaches staff just to be better than that all right we'll wrap up there thank you Oscar safe travel home all right thanks Facundo Torres yeah obviously uh you know we we've got a lot of negative thoughts right now we leave uh today's game with a with a sour taste in our mouths uh you know the team thinks that uh that that wasn't us out there tonight that's not the the team that we are that's not the way that we like to play you know we're a team that has a lot of ambition and uh a lot of goals and drive together and uh we we just didn't show that out there tonight and uh so yeah obviously uh leaving this one with uh with some bad feelings we're going to go to uh Austin David for a couple and then we'll go to Michael citro for a couple hey f um just a a lot of chances within that first 10 minutes for the team H how frustrating is it to have have those opportunities at the very beginning uh not go your way and then as the the halfway is on you kind of let them back in and they take advantage of theirs for yeah I think uh you know we that's how we wanted to approach the uh approach the the the beginning of the game right in those in those first 10 minutes we were really uh playing the way that we wanted to play and then obviously to have those chances and to not have it go our way uh hurt us a little bit and and kind of lowered our uh lowered our Spirits a little bit to to see those uh chances not go our way and then uh as as that was happening to us they were getting into the game more and and picking their heads up more and they started to to win by playing their game this team has has struggled uh when trailing at halftime I I think after tonight it was the ninth loss of the season when the team trails at half what is it about just um when the team concedes and and goes into the half room halftime down a goal uh that that you feel like the kind of struggles uh for the team to to kind of get back into a game like that [Music] yeah you know I think uh I think in the beginning of the year it really it really hurt us a lot uh in in a way that uh you know we were having trouble getting back into those games if we didn't score the first goal and and if we didn't have the uh uh a draw going into time or the lead going into halftime but uh you know I think we throughout the year we'd started to get better at that we'd started to to Really strike strike first uh but tonight was just another one of those games where uh you know once they once they took that first goal uh it it kind of got into our heads a little bit and we we had difficulty coming back from that and we'll wrap up with two for Michael citro thank you for your time faku uh just curious as as to maybe what changed after those first 10 minutes it seemed like there must have been some type of adjustment on Sporting's part because it just seemed like you guys couldn't find space after those first 10 minutes did did anything change tactically that you saw [Music] yeah I think in those those first 10 minutes we were we were really putting the pressure on them when when they had the ball and when we were able to force those turnovers and put that pressure we able to create a lot of good chances and and really take uh take ourselves uh into the game and and put them on the back foot uh and then after those uh first 10 minutes they started to to press us we weren't able to to Really um come out of that pressure clean as much and then once they started to do that they added more and more and then uh at that point we had trouble kind of finding ourselves back into the game and and they took over from there um after the red card obviously they were playing uh a much lower block block more defensively but it it why was there so much struggle to to even like not even one shot on goal what what what were they doing that that created those problems or were some of those just a lack of [Music] sharpness for [Music] yeah I mean that's uh I think that's that's on us right it was it was a situation where even when it was 11v 11 we weren't uh we weren't able to to Really find the space we weren't able to find ourselves into the game and then even when they went down to 10 men and we had a Onan Advantage we we still weren't able to find that space uh we were we were tight we were uh having issues finding each other and it was uh that wasn't the Orlando that uh that we're used to seeing out there on the field tonight and uh I think I think that's what it comes down to right uh we we weren't ourselves and they were the superior team tonight
