very frustrating um you know Ron's been um I don't want to say carrying us but close to it uh over the last you know week or so maybe even more going back but um yeah hopefully it's nothing serious and and we'll get him back soon we'll get Westy back we'll get M back Zach's coming back tomorrow um you know we have reinforcements on the way at some point and um you know I think that in the meantime we got to find a way to scratch and win games and um you know maybe a little I want to say that there's not a sense of urgency because there is um and I think you know maybe defensively late in games I think we got to be a little sharper we got to be a little um have a little bit more of a sense of urgency and um you know we got a chance to win the series tomorrow and that's the goal show up tomorrow win a game win the series take some momentum going back home and um you know get hot in September have some guys come back and that's the plan it's all you can do what do it say about this team to at least climb back and tie it there obviously loading bases for you yeah I mean we have a good team we have good hitters and um you know in this ballpark things happen fast runs happen fast uh I've Seen Crazy Games in this ballpark it seems like a game last 5 hours because there's always guys on base there's always um runs being scored and the balls flying and all that so um I think that's one one thing when you come here and play at this field it's like you're not you're not ever out of it you're down a couple runs um in in the middle Innings and um you know you just got to keep going keep grinding out at bats and hitting the ball hard and um yeah that's it he's have some particularly hard injuries to watch you know painful sounding um what are the emotions of the team just watching your friends your teammates go down like that in that kind of way yeah it sucks yeah um you know I don't want to see Dean Get Smoked by line drive or you know uas hurt his knee or um you know any of that um it's you know it's not football but it's uh you know injuries happen in this game obviously over the course of a season a lot of you know crazy things happen on a baseball field and um you know it's just kind of a freak thing those two plays and um you know we hope those guys are going to be back sooner rather than later and um yeah that's it with the calendar flipping to September obviously um like you mentioned the word urgency uh it's bad time to have a lot of adversity happen but how you guys think you guys can kind of flip the script going forward even though you're going to be a little bit short-handed yeah I mean we got to take one day at a time um compete show up compete battle um you know I mean I this time a year obviously there's so much emphasis on each and every game especially when we're in this tight race um I think that you know our guys are ready for it I think we just got to have that kind of edge when you show up from Pitch one and um take it one day at a time it's really all you can do does it feel like you've never seen the full iteration of this team just with the timing of all the injuries throughout the year yeah I mean yeah but you could say that about a lot of teams you know I I think you could say that you know every team experiences injuries um you know I think it's bit of an excuse to be honest um I don't know any team that goes through an entire season that only uses 26 guys you know I think um guys understand that going to Spring train and you know there's obviously been a lot of moving Parts here um but you know the ultimate goal is to win and you know have the Baltimore orals win the East and go to the playoffs and do what we're capable of so um I think it's encouraging that we have guys coming back in September um and you know I look back to the beginning of the season when we we were at pretty much full strength full health and um you I mean that offense that team was you know steamrolling team so um you know my hope is that that's come September you know we get some pieces back and um you know guys continue to compete and we're right there in the thick of it at the end and um you know we do what we do
