highfly ball right field and deep coun back on the track at the wall see you ball game he walks it off and the Yankees win two to one the history of the 27 time World Series champion Yankees the absolute gold standard in American team sports they've never had a guy like this a dominant right-handed starting pitcher in his prime with the big fast ball who Strikes Out 300 guys in a season never had the closest approxim was Ali Reynolds in the 1950s cuz Clemens was old and no longer really that kind of pitcher quite anymore he was still excellent but not like that David K was great but also not quite that like you know 300 strikeout dominant fast ball guy by the time he got to the Yankees they've never quite had a guy like this and Stephen A Cashman finally spent what it took to get the hammer on top of the rotation he's never pulled the trigger when it when when it cost a lot in money or in prospects to put this version of the Yankees over the top he went after Cole didn't offer enough in prospects went after Verlander the same thing I mean and and they go to the Astros and the Astros become dominant in win a World Series he finally did it and it was the right time this was huge and I love the Mickey Rivers shout out at the press conference love Mick I don't disagree with it as a Die Hard Yankee fan all my life I don't disagree with this move I've been clamoring for this move for quite a long time I've never believed in Tanaka regardless of of some exceptional performances in the postseason I've never believed in srino I think he's a bit erratic I'm not saying they shouldn't be in the rotation but they certainly weren't aces in my mind don't get me started with J hap I don't want to hear it I wasn't a paxing guy as well I've never felt that way Jared Cole is the real deal ever since he left Pittsburgh he's in Houston he's got an erra under three both years won 20 games last year with an RA under three he's worth it he's the real deal I love it now bring me my damn World Series
