so we got some unexpected news this morning Haider acrian was just named the new creative director for the Tom Ford brand after Tom Ford sold his company to Estee Lauder in 2022 Tom left the creative direction for Peter Hawkins who had been his longtime right-hand man when it came to designing Men's Wear however Peter Hawkins was only given one year as the creative lead at Tom Ford before being let go because the executives wanted to hire a new creative director with experience of Designing and selling women's clothing as well only 30% of Tom Ford's International sales come from women's wear and Estee Lauder and zenya who's in charge of all fashion business decisions believe this number should be a lot higher so after two months of searching the brand has hired Hyder arriman today to be the new creative lead he has a long history of Designing men's and women's clothing and developed a huge following with his aonomus brand idder arriman before shutting it down in 2020 since hder closed his brand about four years ago now he has collaborated with a handful of Brands and most recently guest designed the John Paul gotier cotor collection which received positive reviews even Tom Ford himself is excited for this hire with this quote I've been a great fan of haider's work his designs are compelling he's an incredible colorist his tailor in a sharp and above all he is modern
