good Sunday morning everyone I'm Kap meteorologist Sarah Spivey we are going to be hot this Sunday mainly just humid with a high temperature of 98 so staying below 100 one thing I do want to mention is there's a small 10% chance for a stray shower between 300 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. but we will have better rain chances in the week ahead because of low pressure system moving through deep south Texas now this is going to create some spotty showers and storms mainly Monday afternoon through Wednesday it's not going to be raining all day every day again spotty is the key word there but we are going to see that low Meander through Wednesday and that's why there's a 30 to 40% chance for rainfall Monday through Wednesday how much rain are we talking about well not too much I think generally up to about a quarter of an inch of rain over those three days itself but there's a couple of key points that you need to keep in mind again it will be spotty 30 to 40% coverage not raining all day most of the time it'll just be humid and warm most neighborhoods will see less than a quart of an inch but if you do happen to get a shower storm right over your neighborhood it could easily dump an inch of rainfall so we will keep you posted the good thing is is regardless of rain our Highs are going to be in the low to mid 90s this week a much welcome change to the forecast
