Travel the world with Hersa and Jenn | NEW Indie Single Eyeshadow Tag ft ‪@Dreaming_in_multichrome‬

Intro hi guys welcome back to my YouTube channel my name is haa also known as the haira way and today I have a very very exciting video for y'all I know I say that about every video that I upload but there's three specific reasons why this video is super extra exciting one it's a collab with Jen also known as dreaming in multichrome a very good friend of mine in the community two it's our second YouTube collab and three we created our own Indie single eyeshadow tag I am more than excited to tell y'all what the tag is about how we came up with it and how you can participate Tag's name is travel the world with haa and Jen and I'll go a little bit into the backstory I told Jen one day I was like listen we really got to sit on the phone one day and come up with something I really want us to do a tag and obviously you know we needed to like brainstorm together she was like okay let's just find a day we scheduled a day we called each other up and I was like okay Jen I thought of like let's do a tag that it's like oh what eyeshadow would you wear when you do this L thing like you know and I was like listing activities and she's like yeah like for example like oh like a rooftop Night Out in Miami or a club night out in Miami and I was like oh my God Jen this is genius how about we take random cities throughout the world and a specific activity that could happen in that City or that region basically that's what the tag is is for you to pick an ey Shadow to wear doing a particular activity in XYZ City obviously that does not mean that when you create the look in your head you're going to use only one eyes shadow although you can do that absolutely nothing wrong with that but the point is for you to build a look around that eyeshadow create your own fantasy you will see in this video I will talk about scenarios and I'll talk about what I think I'll be wearing what I think I'll be doing and thinking of that shadow and what represents for me and maybe what mates I would wear it with maybe what other shimmers I would wear it with go as wild with your imagination as you want and for this tag we have 10 activities happening in 10 different cities throughout the world yes all continents are involved of course we would love for you guys to participate whether it's here on YouTube or on Instagram me and Jen are not just going to upload the tag here on YouTube we're also going to post on Instagram and go on our usual lives to talk about it so obviously whenever you participate please do tag us and use the hashtag once again travel the world with haira and Jen and I would love to see what your picks will be again like I said let your fantasy and Imagination go wild we would love to see what you guys pick a little twist me and Jen are adding to our videos So after talking about the 10 Shadows that we picked our reasoning behind it yada yada yada we're also going to try and guess what each other picked so I do not know what 10 Shadows Jen picked she does not know what 10 Shadows I picked so to add a little bit of competition to it all my Sagittarian spirit is thriving in this environment we are going to try and guess what colors each other picked for the prompt obviously we do not know each other's collection 100% so colors would be a better guess I told Jen that I am going to win I want to get as many as I can write out of 10 so basically how the video is going to be structured is after this intro I'm going to talk about my shadows and then I'm going to go into my guesses for what gen pick without any further Ado let's get started getting started with the first prompt which is a My Picks for the Tag rooftop night in Miami now I have been to Miami quite a few times I've also been to a few roof tops in Miami as well and every time I've been to Miami I've done completely different looks like any color you could think of I've done it in Miami so this was one of the harder prompts for me to really really narrow down the shadow that I wanted to pick but after putting a little bit of thought I was like M I want something that is fiery I want something that is vibrant that is Shifty that is perfect for Miami and what better than quicksand gingerbread I mean look at this one y'all oh my God no stop look at these shifts look at these shifts the video is going to be like 20 minutes of me showing the shift of this Shadow I don't think it can get any more bold and vibrant than this Shadow for a night out in a rooftop in Miami I think it's absolutely perfect and I think this is the kind of shadow that you can use not only with just like Reds and oranges which is the first thing that you would think of when you look at the shadow but you can use it with even like darker grungier mattes because this is the kind of shadow that just will steal the show honestly so yeah this one is the one that I picked for a roof top night in Miami popping her right into the palette all righty second prompt is a ballet show at the Sydney Opera house now this was another hard one because I thought of so many freaking Shadows I listed at least five and it was a battle between soft pinks or iridescents and I was like what should I pick because I really wanted something that captured the ballet aesthetic you know the tutu and the ballerina slippers as you can see I put a lot of thought into it and I decided on an iridescent and it's this one from deina called puffles I even have a little bit of it on my finger and as you can see has the most beautiful like softest blue glow to it I thought of an iridescent because iridescents are very very versatile I could wear this just on a lid by itself I can wear it on the lid and as a highlighter and connect the two for that ethereal glow moment like I I can literally wear it on top of mattes Darker mattes too like I could be a white swan or a Black Swan whatever aesthetic I would like to go for an descent would perfectly capture the vibe of the ballet and the classiness of it and the soft femininity of it which is not the kind of looks that I go for I don't usually go for soft and feminine and ethereal looks but once in a while I really enjoy them on myself and I think a ballet show would be the perfect occasion for it into the palette she goes as well all righty the third prompt is a Broadway show in New York City before I talk about my eyeshadow pick I just want to take y'all on a little trip down Memory Lane with me back in 2017 when I was still a college student I was part of the honors program and that Spring Break um the honors program had organized for us to go to New York and one of the main activities that we did was going and seeing a Broadway show specifically cats what an honor and a privilege I'd only been to the states for 2 years and it was first of all an unforgettable experience I really really loved it actually after the show was done we got to hang out with one of the main cast actors he actually is from Massachusetts so they allowed us to St to stay back and ask him a few questions and take pictures and everything and I remember my question to him was like how long does it take you guys to really train for this and rehearse it and everything and oh my God these artists and these actors put so much freaking work for this Entertainment form and it's just amazing to witness and to see oh I loved it I really thought about it and I really created my own little fantasy I was like okay think of a warm fall day I probably thought of fall because I have yet to go to New York in the fall I've been there in every possible season except fall and I was like think of a fall day you go see the Broadway show and then you come out and you want to just go and have some good food you know walk around do everything and I was like what shadow would capture that Vibe and it was none other than deina Mystic Moon Pai what a classic this Shadow is so I'm not a neutrals girly I will admit that I'm not a neutrals girly neutrals are not the first thing that pop in my head when I'm like ooh I want to create a look right but this Shadow is just The It Girl of spicy neutrals I feel like I would either wear it by itself or with a wingk or with Ms or Browns um I think this is a perfect kind of Shadow for that day Glam and to just be a girl in New York honestly come on we had to go out tonight it's New York popping her right into the palette moving on to our fourth prompt which is a beach day in CA Bali now this was an easy one surprisingly this was an easy one let me tell y'all a little bit about me me at the beach I do not wear makeup whatsoever okay I am not a glamorous Beach goer I will admit that about myself I like to swim and I like to take a little dip under the water no goggles no nothing so you can imagine how crazy my hair and everything looks like I do wear SPF but nothing that is makeup so this one even though I was like hm I don't really wear makeup so what the heck would I choose I still figured it out and it was the first thing that popped in my head this Shadow is actually a Rec addition to my collection and it's from dend lions and it's called powdered sugar this Shadow is very interesting as you can see it's a white shadow when I mean white it has like literally no other shift there's no blue no green no pink no orange nothing literally just white and it can be quite flaky but it's very very sparkly and I thought of like let me just like you know tap it a little bit with my finger onto my lid and go to the bead so even when I go under the water it will just like wash off in a cute sparkly way so this is why I thought of this one again because I do not wear makeup and I do not like to wear makeup to the beach now I'm going to talk about my predictions to what Jen picked but I think that I'm really going to stump Jen with this one I don't think she's going to be able to predict that I picked a white shadow for the beach I am so curious Jen whenever you're watching this to hear your reaction because I really think I really think I'm going to stump you with this one popping her right there all righty fifth prompt is a safari in serengetti this is very interesting because this was another very easy prompt for me I immediately thought of the shadow that I was going to picked I immediately thought of like the cheetah and the Lions and the leopards their coats their fur and how to match that like what color would match that the best and I immediately thought of deina lynx and I feel like it's a perfect like golden Shadow to wear um to go see the animals and have those kind of activities it's perfectly neutral I feel like it really matches the the environment as well so yeah this one again was a very very easy one and it's so funny that the name is Lynx I know that there are no lynxes in Africa but it's funny that the name is another big cat so it's perfectly aligned popping her right into the palette moving right along with our six prompt which is a ball in Vienna oh my God this one is very special to me because one of my dreams is to attend a ball in Vienna and let me tell y'all about my dream ball gown which is relevant to why I picked the shadow that I picked so my dream ball gown would be think of Cinderella the movie that came out in 2015 with Lily James like that big of a dress except I would like mine to be strapless I would love to wear gloves and the color would be of course Prussian Blue surprise surprise who is shocked that I would love my ball gown to be a dark blue and the shadow that I thought is perfect for that and what I Envision wearing on my eyes is the vena 347 tell me y'all this isn't perfect tell me this isn't the dark blue to end and all dark blue Shadows like this is it for me I don't know what I'd specifically wear it with obviously it would be with mattes but I don't know if I would add another Shimmer to it or it would just be this would be the only Shimmer that I would use but yeah this one is it y'all very very dreamy I'm already fantasizing about my hair and the dress and the shadow and the look that I would do I am deep diving into this fantasy world right now we got a good color story going on Seventh prompt is a carnival in Rio de Janeiro and this one was a very easy prompt for me as well first of all the outfits are so beautiful so vibrant so colorful an art form in and of itself honestly and the reason why it was so easy for me is because I wanted a very vibrant Shadow something that would immediately steal the show and what's better than a yellow and this one is man professional amaso this is the truest yellow that I have in my collection it does not lean green it does not lean aqua teal it's just literally purely yellow and it's very vibrant and showstopping exactly like the outfit so I thought it would be perfect to capture that Vibe honestly I think I would wear it with green mattes maybe I would add another Shimmer I don't know but I think that with green Matts it would kind of match the flag too so that would be cute but yeah this one is it y'all popping her with a rest all righty eighth promt is a techno nightclub in Berlin oh this one was also another very easy one and I had a very clear inspiration for this one one of my favorite like recent action movies and I say recent I mean like last 10 years is atomic blonde with chariss Theon it came out in 2017 and it's a spy movie The Story takes place in Berlin back in the late 80s I believe when Berlin was still divided into West and East her outfits and makeup are Immaculate you guys Immaculate and her eye makeup specifically is always like dark and grungy and messy but in like a classy and sexy way oh my God chef's kiss and when I thought of a techno nightclub in Berlin I thought of that kind of vibe shadow that I thought of is actually a recent addition to my collection and it's this one from Touch of Glam called I hallucination this one is a true beauty y'all it has a darker charcoal base and it has Sparkles that are like multicolorful and it's just perfect for the like grungy dirty messy Rockstar like Vibe it's just perfection um and I absolutely love it and I think would wear it with like a bunch of Darker mattes like I would do exactly like a rockstar kind of look I think is just perfect and very very SE popping her right into the palette as well ninth prompt is a cherry blossom viewing in Koto I am going to admit this one was hard for me because I immediately thought of soft pinks what would best match the color of Cherry Blossom flowers I rolled down like five Shadows y'all I do have quite a few soft pinks in my collection this one that I ended up picking for this prompt was the first one that I put on the list and it's on Wednesdays we were pcking from Touch of Glam like every Touch of Glam Shadow it's honestly so Shifty and so freaking sparkly this one has like a beautiful like soft blue ethereal kind of Sparkle it's just like so perfect for a beautiful like peaceful day spent looking at cherry blossom trees and this one I worn with Ms before and I think for this particular prompt I would probably wear it with like pinks I would it would be a monochromatic look for sure like a fully monochromatic like we're talking eyes cheeks and lips in with the rest she goes and last but certainly not least the 10th prompt is a New Year's Eve party in Dubai now this one so here's the thing let me go into one of my long explanations y'all I can't help it New Year's Eve is my favorite holiday and New Year's Eve makeup looks are something that I put a lot of effort and thought into because I want well the last look of the year to be the most glamorous and my favorite of the whole year right but also it's something that I treat as a competition with myself every year I want my New Year's Eve look to be better than the last year's I know it's weird but this is something that I always do I want it to be my most favorite like of all time right it was hard in the sense that I wouldn't wear the Shimmer just by itself obviously I would combine it with a bunch of other shimmers because that's a New Year's Eve look for me right and especially a New Year's Eve look for a party in Dubai out of all places right I want something to like a look to end all looks basically but I picked one and this one is surprise surprise a dark blue who would have thought right this is Shine by D scored and it's Shifty it's sparkly it's just perfection honestly I am already thinking of color combos I would wear this with because like I said this would not be the only Shimmer that I would wear but it still is a shimmer that steals the show honestly it's just the Beauty Shifty it's sparkly it's exactly what you would wear in a New Year's Eve party I know Jen will laugh cuz she doesn't like Blues but I I think I think she will predict this I think she will be able to predict that I picked a dark blue oh I hate how predictable this choice is for me but y'all know I love what I love and this concludes this color story y'all what do we think I think this is a cute color story unplanned but cute now for the competition part of the video I'm going My Prediction for Jenn’s Picks to go ahead and try to guess what Jen picked for all 10 prompts so for the first prompt a rooftop night in Miami I'm looking down because I wrote everything down on my notebook I really thought about this one and I think Jen went for a similar approach to mine I think she went for a fiery warm eyeshadow specifically orange I don't know why I just feel a strong pull towards orange my intuition is telling me she picked orange so orange is my final answer this was one of the ones that I was pretty certain like this was the only only answer I wrote down I don't know why I just felt orange for the second prompt a ballet show at the Sydney Opera House 100% certain that Jen picked a pink like specifically a light pale pink I am pretty sure on this one if I don't get this one right I am going to scream I was also very confident on this pick also hoping I get this one right for the third prompt a Broadway play in New York City I think she went for gold I think she went for a golden eyeshadow I don't know why this was another one that I just immediately wrote down the color not thinking too hard I just had a feeling she had a similar approach to mine like you know more neutral but still like impactful eyeshadow another intuition pick here it was the only color that I wrote down for this prompt for her fourth prompt a beach day in cabali um this one was another one that I was very certain on these four picks by the way I was very confident on I think she picked a teal SL Aqua kind of eyeshadow to match the water I don't know why I don't know why I'm pretty sure on this one too this one out of all 10 prompts this was the first one that I wrote down so that's how confident I am on this one again if I don't get it I am going to Screech because I'm willing to bet money she picked something to match the water again teal Aqua Vibes fifth prompt a safari in serengetti this was another one that I was 100% confident on this was the second one that I wrote down I know I'm coming off cocky but I'm I confident in these five picks okay for this one I picked Brown I think she wants to just like me to match colors of the environment I went for a gold I think she's going to go for brown I even went as far as Miss Jen whenever you watch this I went as far as to guess the single eyes shadow that you picked really am certain that if you picked Brown you picked glaminatrix bear now the reason why I said glaminatrix bear is first of all I don't own The Shadow I know she has it because it was in her top 10 Indie singles for 2023 and second of all because I picked deina Lynx that's an animal name I think you know glaminatrix bear also kind of like your mind takes you there again I was so cocky and arrogant to the point that I even wrote down the shadow I said glaminatrix bear absolutely imagine I get this right I don't know I don't know fingers cross sixth prompt a ball in Vienna I had two answers for this one but I really decided on the second one my first guess was iridescent but I changed that I am pretty sure my guess my official guess is light purple specifically lilac I am pretty sure Jen went for lilac because I thought of it this way I want something dark right I want my gown to be a dark blue I went for a darker Shimmer you guys know I love those Jen knows I love those I'm pretty sure she's going to guess I'm pretty sure for this one she's going to guess my color she knows I love Blues I think Jen is going to go for more softer and ethereal and feminine Vibe and I think a lilac is going to be it like lighter purples I am also very confident in this bck seventh prompt Carnival in Rio de Janeiro if I picked yellow she picked green this was probably the third one I wrote down I am a 100% confident imagine I get all of these Wrong by the way this is going to be a big hit to my pride and my guessing skills but I'm pretty sure she went for green again just an intuition pick I don't have a specific reason a green I'm thinking of is a more like Vivid green just a medium toned I guess Vivid green basically matching the Brazilian flag eighth prompt a techno club in Berlin for this one I really thought about it this one I'm not very certain on but I I'm going to stick with my answer I'm going to be I'm going to put Faith in my guessing skills now I think she went for the grungy Vibe as well just like me but if I picked a black Shimmer I don't see Jen picking black but I do think she would pick a dark green I think she would go for a darker green perhaps a spicy neutral perhaps one of those like shine byd you know like the spicy neutral collection that they came out with I'm not 100% sure of the name one of those like greens that they have in that collection like Eternal Haze for example like that's the kind of shadow that I was thinking she would pick I'm a little scared on this one that I might not get it right but I'm going to stick by it all righty ninth prompt o this was a tough one CH Blossom viewing in Koto wrote three down okay I thought she either picked mauve pinks or irid descent I think she would go for pink but now the thing is in my head now I'm like oh would she go for pink even though for ballet I said pink I picked blue twice I picked it for two Browns so there was no rule of us like like not repeating colors I'm really torn between maues and a pink like you know a lighter pink but I think I'm going to go with pink for this one I think she's going to try to match the the colors of the flowers just like I did I think we're aligned on this I'm going to stick with pink and last but certainly not least a New Year's Eve party in buy I think she went for silver for this one a lot of people do love to wear silver and black um for New Year's Eve it's a very I feel like traditional look I think she went for silver like Pro possibly like the shiniest silver she has in her collection would be shocked if she didn't pick silver and she picked another color cannot wait to watch her video and be like there anxiously just like a student looking at you know like the test results just like oh what did I get wrong what did I get right I really really want to win this I have that competitive Sagittarius spirit so for me I am all in I am confident I locked in my answers I'm so curious to see how Jen did though I think she's going to do well because some of my answers were very predictable I will admit it some of my answers were pretty freaking predictable so we'll see this was it for today you guys I
