what's going on everyone Chris from pick dogs.com here with the free pick in the Washington Nationals vs Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball matchup going down Tuesday September 10th 2024 just a reminder if you haven't already make sure you're subscribe to our Channel and smash that thumbs up and if you're looking for my Best Bets the games that I love including my daily $19 best bet head on over to pick dogs.com and click the premium picks tab at the top of the page but let's get to this one between the Atlanta Braves and the Washington Nationals the Washington Nationals sending out McKenzie Gore for the start in this one while the Atlanta Braves will counter with raldo Lopez and uh Lopez actually should say both these starters coming off in some decent form you know raldo Lopez since coming back off of the injured list has been pitching very very well for the Atlanta Braves you know four starts since and Lopez in those four outings has posted a 1.96 erra he's like I said doing a lot of solid work and even against the Washington Nationals in his start against Washington at home back on August 25th it was a 5-1 win for the Nationals but it wasn't Lopez fault he gave up just one run on three hits over six Innings of work so I think that Lopez can have another solid start here the Washington Nationals aren't a team that I'm all that excited about offensively you you look at some of their recent games as the Nationals team that sure was able to split with the with the Pittsburgh Pirates but they've also dropped six of their last nine games entering uh Monday's action and you look at their numbers against right-handed pitching you know in their last 10 games you know they're hitting just 233 their last five those numbers dropped to 205 so not all that excited about the Nationals here against a righty but I'm also not that thrilled with Atlanta against McKenzie Gore here McKenzie Gore you know has given up one earned run in each of his last three starts against the Atlanta Braves you know he's gone into the sixth inning in two of those three starts and in his last three starts McKenzie Gore's actually been fairly Rock Solid I mean a 2.0 erra his erra at home has been slightly better than his ER on the road and I think that he can put uh put Atlant uh excuse me put Washington in a decent spot here to compete with Atlanta Atlanta in their last uh 10 games against right-handed excuse me against left-handed pitching hitting just 223 and in their last five hitting just 150 um now the bullpens can get a little bit dicey between these two teams Washington Nationals in the last two weeks have a staff erra at 4.89 the Atlanta Braves around League average at 3.67 but still I just I I said I don't I don't have enough here to separate one way or the other I'm going to go with the under you can take the under in the first five I'm going to go with the under in the full game here I just think you have two in inconsistent offenses right now and two teams like I said I'm just having a hard time trusting to be able to get the job done so I'm going to take the under between the Braves and the Nationals and that's going to be my free pick but just a reminder if you haven't already make sure you're subscribed to our Channel and smash that thumbs up and if you're looking for my Best Bets you can find those at pick dogs premium while your pick dogs check out our betting tools they're 100% free they're the best betting tools in the business and tools that you want to make sure that you have in your back pocket when you're making your Best Bets for the day's action thanks for watching see you guys soon
