Thunderstorm Risk Builds With High Humidity Across Ontario

as these two boundaries Collide over Ontario we can be expecting to see some severe weather fueled by all of this atmospheric moisture the setup through Tuesday is going to be part that warm front that is going to be pushing across regions of Southern Ontario pulling in that warm muggy air mass the cold front draped across Quebec into Northeastern Ontario pulling some thunderstorms and that secondary cold front through southern Ontario that's going to lead to some more severe storms now let's time all of this out together as we're going through through Tuesday afternoon we see that first line of thunderstorms up towards Northeastern Ontario a little bit of a break through the later half of the afternoon but late evening into the overnight as that second cold front drapes on through and pushes through that's where we have that risk for more severe storms into the overnight as well but there's a little bit of uncertainty at this moment depending on when that Line's going to push through if it pushes through a little bit later on the severity of those storms may increase and on top of that the cloud cover through Tuesday morning is going to play a crucial role in how severe those storms get the less the cloud cover the more the daytime heating so some of the heavy rain and the strong wind gust uh may actually be uh enhanced to possibly torrential rain or to even damaging winds we'll keep an eye on this storm and more here at The Weather Network [Music]
