Yes. I mean for me it was like early in the offseason. Yeah. We're trying to throw like the seam shift wake stuff and really just throw it
off my middle finger. So like kind of going like that I was basically just back
spinning. The ball which is ended up being like a worse
fastball for me. So I like felt good for a little
bit, but I don't know. Like, I felt my fingers were
spread out a little bit too much. So, like, when I was in my glove, I
just be like, just feels weird, you know. But now we're kind of
just like, it looks like a classic, you know, like Strasburg kind of
T seem changeup grip and which I guess it is. But really,
I'm just trying to throw with these two fingers right
here and then have it come off like that and you know the harder, I throw it, I feel like the better gets and,
you know, just kind like a Snowball Effect where it's
like I seen the numbers it's
good, I have the feeling which is good and you know, just over over
time just slowly been building up to like
a legitimate weapon for me. And some of them really Confident and proud of you've
been open about the fact that
you watch Chris Sale starred and
change your mechanics based off of watching that. Why do you
think that that worked for you so seamlessly? I mean growing up. That's pretty
much what I would do. I grew up watching Johan Santana and Lincecum and Strasbourg and
Darvish and y'all these guys growing up I would just kind of
like I let me just try this see if it works. You know we didn't
have trackman or any kind of that stuff. So really It was just like
imitation, I've always liked slowly be creeping, lower lower,
lower lower. With my arm angle, I feel like
it started up here and then I was like really low. So, for me, it just kind of
became like a natural thing where, like, my natural arm slot
just kind of like, for me, it felt good to throw down here, like, I'm throwing to a base. I'm not trying to, like, throw
it up here, and I would just steal the ball or whatever,
just beyond athletic. But down here, just feels like everything syncs up, and whatnot. And, you know, watching
sale. I mean, he should have to guess. Is that
one day? And I was like, maybe I should maybe I should try that
and I literally just took it to the
next day. I was like, wow, this feels really really good and
it's been that slow progression, that you know, that work, they put in
and each start each each day. And yeah, now we're at this point,
it feels still feels good. So I'm just still running with it
Sean. It's been really fun to watch. Thanks so much for the
time. Keep it up. Thank you.
