This will impact the storm will impact parts of Hanover Township. Perhaps you saw and these live shot not so long ago and the downpour wilkes-barre you will also be impacted by this severe thunderstorm. We're showing about 60 lightning strikes right now it will continue to press off towards the East and as long as it holds together. It will move into Monroe County speaking of Monroe County right now we have a storm north of broadens bill north of Snyder's Ville but this is also heading off towards the East southeastern will work its way through Monroe County. Last couple of hours. We've had some showers and thunderstorms bubble up and that will be well they will at least be with us for a few more hours before they wind down and taper off for the rest of the night. If you get a storm at your house main threats will be damaging wind. And torrential downpours here in South Williamsport. Ominous looking sky here improving weather a little bit off in the distance I want to show you our live camera in Scranton. Valerie and I were watching this a couple of minutes ago it happened to see a lightning bolt. Went for it to happen again I guess lightning doesn't strike twice in the same place right well that's a thunderstorm that is moving through the wilkes-barre region Hanover Township 87 Scranton wilkes-barre 18 Williamsport 87 in Jim Thorpe 89 for us in pottsville some showers and thnderstorms around for the next couple of hours. We dry out overnight and then tomorrow we get a few more rain showers that could be a week or a thunderstorm tomorrow, a weaker storm certainly not a big deal for us. This is going to be a lot different 60's in the morning 70's tomorrow afternoon certainly cooler cloudier and a couple of rain showers and for high school football look at these game time temperatures in the 60's with the chance of a shower. Here's your eyewitness weather forecast tonight shower or thunderstorm around. Lows tonight will be in the mid-sixties tomorrow, mostly cloudy not quite as humid a few showers a rumble of thunder. Highs in the 70's. Friday, pretty much the same not a washout the next couple of days and some of the higher elevations. We'll stay in the 60's shower or thunderstorm at your house on Saturday passing shower on Sunday and look how things cool off for Labor Day and early next week. So just be weather aware this evening if you have some outdoor plans. Good thing about Friday and Saturday, not a washout there will be time when it's not raining and. Kind of a close call for the high school football games. I think will be a situation of my game will get wet. The your game stays totally dry kind of a thing going on. But if it does rain. It shouldn't be terribly long and it shouldn't be terribly heavy. Yeah because of a severe they got a delay at lightning
