Michelle for infamously known as the ogre of the Arden was a French serial killer who between 1987 and 2003 murdered at least 12 young girls and women across France and Belgium driven by a twisted obsession with virgins forner with the help of his wife Monique Olivier lured victims with false promises of rides or jobs once in his grasp the victims were subjected to horrific abuse some were strangled others stabbed and one was even buried alive for obsession with virgins drove him to abduct raped and then brutally murder his victims the bodies were hidden in the Arden Forest for's crimes came to light in 2003 when a brave teenage girl escaped and reported him to the police following his arrest Olivier confessed revealing the full scope of their gruesome acts forier was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2008 where he continued to admit to more murders until his death in 2021
