Do what you have to do. Yes, indeed. All right. Let's get you on out to Cedar Hill this morning. Looking at 73 degrees. We'll have some partly to mostly cloudy skies out there right now, had some rumbles of thunder in some areas yesterday. Didn't get much in the way of rain everywhere, but we did have some heavier downpours. We'll see that get repeated again today if you're getting out right now though, to walk the dog, not gonna have any issues out there between now and nine o'clock. So it should be dry through most of the morning as we get into the afternoon though. That's when we'll begin to see those isolated showers and storms developing once again. So keep that in mind. Now again, most of us will stay dry through the early afternoon, but then we'll start to see a few more showers and storms bubbling up as we heat up. Getting into the afternoon, it will be kind of hit and miss maybe more miss than what we saw, uh, than what we will see later as we get into the weekend. So, yeah, we'll still see the isolated activity today. Likely tomorrow, what we do see this evening will start to dissipate once the sun goes down. But then that pattern will get repeated again. Tomorrow, we'll have those isolated to scattered showers and storms. Now again, not anticipating severe weather either, but some gusty winds that, uh, lighting up with some of those. Those are gonna be the main concerns along with some brief heavy downpours. Now, as we get into the weekend though, that's when we'll see those rain chances really starting to go up a little bit 50 to maybe 60% coverage on Sunday. So there will be again, some showers and storms likely as we go through the weekend, not raining the entire time, not all of us will see the showers and storms today, but we will certainly have those better chances already starting to see a little activity well out to the south and west, but that will start to fill in a little bit more as you just saw heading into the afternoon. Now, as we head into the weekend, here comes that front, that will be enhancing our chances for the showers and storms. We'll see those winds behind the front coming around out of the northeast. So that will help shave a few more degrees off of those temperatures and we'll have the scattered showers and storms hanging around as that front will be in the vicinity right through the holiday weekend. So plan accordingly if you're gonna be out and about with that backyard barbecue may be heading out at one of the area lakes as we get into the weekend. I know a lot of folks will be hitting the roads as well and we'll be talking more about that travel forecast as we get into the next few days too. But for today, up around 96 for that high, 95 tomorrow and then those temperatures really starting to come down with the rain changes increasing through the holiday weekend. By Sunday, going into Monday daytime, high is likely not getting out of the eighties and we'll keep it in the eighties next Tuesday as well with still a few showers and storms left over as the rain chances dry up, temperatures creep back into the low nineties again, late next week.
