welcome to Monroe Louisiana Malone Stadium home to the ULM warhawks and fans have been getting ready for this one pretty much all week maybe you need a little caffeine or maybe the sheer energy of this matchup will keep you wide awake as we know anything can happen when you kick off after dark as we'll see a squad from the AAC the UAB Blazers taking on a team from the Sun Belt the UL Monroe warhawks for EA Sports college football ree Davis with you alongside David poock and Jesse Palmer and guys can't wait to get this one started the warhawks will kick it away to [Applause] start Hills Darth the return inside his five not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 so uav's offense will get the first swing of the game and here he comes the guy who pulls all the strings in this attack I think what makes him so unique he has such a good understanding of this offense always seems to know what the answer is to the test always in control the receivers know they're going to get the football everybody believes in this dude dropping back it's Zeno gets it out fast he knew exactly where he wanted to go with that one and they've got enough for the first down really nice job by the quarterback understanding I needed to throw this ball hard like I got to fit in there tight and a nice job by the wide receiver wearing it cuz he really didn't have a choice cuz he was going to wear that one we B and it falls incomplete but that could have been disastrous a Defender was right there and off from the shotgun just sort of a Relentless run getting everything that was available to him and they'll Mark him down at the 40 in the gun looking to throw on third down and he dropped and just didn't look the thing all the way in and the Blazers will line up to pun it [Applause] away looking for a block it's Curry and they'll get him down after the return at the 27 yd line the warhawks offense will have its first possession of the game as we take a look at our impact players for this one what are you looking for Jesse for a guy to make an impact well these are simply put the leaders of this football team and generally games go how these guys play if they make plays they've got a shot to win this one no doubt they got to show up these are the team leaders these guys have to play well if they're going to win the football he'll keep it himself creating some space getting just enough good blocking and they've got it up to the 47 yd line yeah the QB calls his own number and all these options obviously multiple plays he decides to stick with it get some positive yards and and now what's next off of that what's my next read off of that how am I going to mix things up and keep this defense off balance now they'll run the draw brought down to the ground but he has enough for the first down and the warhawks have it with they first and 10 they'll ride the hot hand they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one lost one on that last one it's second and 11 up to the air it's Harry going to try to pop one on the screen and he goes out of bounds after a nice pick up on that one passing game very effective on second down what about here on third they'll stick to the ground looking for the marker he gets it oh so close to the first down marker but I think he's going to be a touch short they would have needed a boomer from here a 55 yd field goal attempt so instead and they get to him and sack the quarterback and they'll stop the drive on Downs he had nowhere to go with the football you could tell surveying the field somebody's got to get open to go make a play Man throw it up run it do something something you can't take a sack on fourth down you got to give somebody an opportunity to make a play for you UAB has the ball back ready to send the offense out to go to work that last Drive won't go on the Highlight Reel after ending in a punt they'd like to be more productive this time David and I think this offense has to be a little bit more balanced find a little balance between the Run Jesse and working in that pass I think too David it's just going to take a spark it just takes one play to get this thing picked up and going the Blazers want to move quickly motion from the offense quarterback Quick Pass to the receiver he is stopped behind the line of scrimmage they'll lose yards on that one in the dead center of the field as they try to convert this third and short from the gun wants to pass grabbed here the marker it's Thomas really confident throw and catch there big pickup and they have a first down there's a reason third down is called the money now what a great find by the quarterback great job finding his receiver at the end of the game you look at third down percentages it tells a huge story and it goes a long way deciding who wins a football game and I think they'll give him two on that that one second and eight coming up no huddle here for the offense it's a draw he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple a third and long coming up here looking downfield it's Zeno he finds his man and sure tackling there to keep him from getting to the first down Parker would have just been a 47 yd field goal attempt from here but they thinking touchdowns and trying to move the chains here on Fourth and the Blazers will move the sticks now on the move at the 28 yd line on first down receiver on the Move gets the touch pass headed to the end zone touchdown UAV and they jump on top UAV when that receiver got free it was all over and it's so nice to have a receiver like this as a quarterback cuz you pad my stats I like those long touchdown passes where I just threw it really short and he did the rest of the work getting set for the point after extra and the pat makes it 7 nothing that drive covered 57 yds for the touchdown and the score comes on a touchdown pass covering 28 yd coming out with it it's Smith he's brought down at the 16 would have been much better off to take the Touchback you Monroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work that fourth down gamble didn't pay off on the last drive and it led to giving up a scoring Drive David yeah and everybody wants to go for it on fourth down everybody wants that but your defense sometimes has to bail out your decision we decided to go for it we didn't get it defense Jess didn't come up big and prove me right yeah not complimentary football no doubt but look this offense has been in these situations before so You' got to come back out here take the field it's a fresh set of downs brand new Drive let's go out and execute put some points on the the offense getting set for a first down from the 45 Ed the pl fake now to throw zings it complete to the right gets it all the way down to the 39 nyd line it'll be a first down the warhawks in the hurry up that was a really nice catch and an even better run after the grab yeah and get the ball to your playmaker what's good about having him in the slot is he can go either and the ball's on the ground the D Scoops it up and everybody reverses field and he's brought down and this defense gets the ball back for its own and how about this defense coming up with the play you want to make your quarterback a runner fine we're going to stop him and take the ball and they were prepared right this is a defense that looks like they studied film and they knew that this offense was going to attack them with the running quarterback on designed runs so great job by the defense recognizing what was happening getting to the football and better yet creating a takeaway draged down after a pick up of five out to the 35 halfway there on first down it's second and five On The Run it's phbe one step wrap two-step squeeze this junior knows how to get him on the ground and now on third down after that last run they'll try to power their way ahead didn't get much picked up a yard and that will lead them with four and two the Blazers will bring the punt team onto the field this will be the second time they've had to kick it away away and the punt goes out of bounds we'll see where the officials spotted but they certainly gave him no opportunity for a return to throw it's Harry oh he had it right down the middle and it just squirted right through his fingers and they missed an opportunity for a nice play on first down free snap motion quarterback trying to get a read grabs it in the middle that'll be a gain of about seven leaves him with third and three trying to pick up a first down they're going to try to throw for it on third down they're working that left side that is exactly what you're looking for when you talk explosive plays the defense finally able to make the Stop and as a defense how scary is it having to defend this guy he's one of the fastest players in America and you saw it on that last play it's not necessarily throwing him the ball over your head they just get it to him quickly the hard part now is running and tackling that guy not easy to [Applause] do they keep attacking through the air they get to him as he throws got it in the middle it's Smith and it is a chunk play a huge gain on that one before the defense brings it to an end well after that last play you can see how electrifying this guy is and how special he is after he makes the catch if I'm on offense I'm trying to find a lot of ways to get him touches in this game and the warhawks want to crank the [Applause] tempo he's got it on the move and not much doing there as that defense runs him out of bounds operating in the Red Zone here on second down wide receiver shows motion touch pass on the Jet Sweep he's brought down but he went backwards after that completion not the way they had it drawn up boy they'd love to pick up this conversion and go to work with a first and goal fires into the end zone and he's on his way he'll go all the way touchdown Warhawk not with the catch in the end [Music] zone lining up for the P for the exra point splits those uprights right in half they marched 79 ydd on the drive and they cap things off with a 9yd touchdown pass from inside the 10 here he comes nice job executing all of the assignments as they put a stop to that return at the 22 UAV regains possession of the Blazer offense back onto the field off the play fake on first down to throw got his man downfield ripping up off a pretty good chunk of yardage they've got it out to the 41 with a first down well this offense knew coming into this game they wanted to try to attack the middle of the field in the passing game and they're able to execute the end route there find his big tight end stopped just across the 50 at the 49 yd line it's a pick up of 10 and a first down they saw that Blitz coming and the way to get out of it is find the tight end yeah how quick did he see that too he sees the Blitz understands this is a matchup where I got my big tight end the big fella I trust I'm going to find that match up get him the football for the first time and the incompletion brings up a second down from the gun the ground game they'll give him a couple that leaves him with third and eight if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum on third down he'll try to pick it up through the air and the freshman will talk up a sack that's a good example there of complimentary defense the DBS and linebackers are playing Zone they're playing their spaces and they force the QB to to have to hold the ball try to work through his progressions and then the pass rush they win up front and the Blazers line up to pun it away [Applause] he'll call for the fair catch here guys we'll see what this war hawk offense can get done this time how big is this drive scored a touchdown the last time they had it defense gets a sto and now it's up to them in a tie game all right so for the offensive coordinator here let's dial it in who are your best matchups and best Playmakers to take advantage of this golden opportunity yeah and I'm interested to see this defense too like the momentum is clearly not in your favor how do you get it back how do you make a big play you be more aggressive here try to get the football back to your offense trying to move the sticks on third down through the air snags it over the middle and they give him enough for the first down they'll move the chains and let's see if they can snap it one more time here in the first while we're only through one these quarterbacks have been lighting up their stat line [Music] they fought to a stand still in the first let's see who gets the edge early in the second the warhawks come to the line with a new set of downs they'll throw it on first down he's got his man stopped at the 47 after a 10yd gain here comes the offense on First and 10 from the 47 give to the back at the 40 there he goes and he was loose and in the open field and on his way a tremendous pick up on that one I love that play call this offense is going to run the football they're not just going to do it between the tackles but they're going to attack you outside you saw that with that handoff they get to the right they get him in space using his speed good play call they're getting this guy lathered up not a lot of daylight there let's give him one to the 14 going to work in the Red Zone they can't pick up the first down without getting it into the end zone the RPO fire complete to the left they get him down after he makes the catch they'd love to pick up this third down and get a fresh set with first and goal to the air it's hering got it tackled but he has a first down so so close to cashing it in for this offense a first down run in the Red Zone he works his way all the way down to the three and the defense is reeling we'll see if the offense can punch it in on second and goal he's looking to throw it falls incomplete he was trying to find his man for six and they'll try it again after getting nothing on second down it's third and goal from the three they'll try to run it in and he takes it in for the score touchdown U El Monro you know what methus lived 969 years he was born and died in the amount of time it took them to walk it down the field and score that touchdown that's just so frustrating play after play after play you line up you try to do your assignment and you fail and they cap it off with a touchdown oh Methuselah on to attempt the try and the pat gives him a 147 lead so a drive there of 85 ydd and Clos the deal with a three- yd touchdown [Applause] run looking for blockers and the returner will be dragged down UAB has the ball back ready to send the offense out to go to work didn't quite find the Rhythm on that last Drive Jesse they had to punt it I think they got to be more physical David I think up front they got to do a better job getting blocks and establishing this running game and how easy does football become if you're the more physical team if you can threaten the run and then then run play action it opens up the whole offense at your disposal on On The Run it's bie finds his way for three out to the 33 the Blazers come to the line in the hurry up3 [Applause] second quarterback on the keeper they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a Dey if they can pull it off looking to throw at Ceno quickly out to the tight end and he's not going to make it the defense denying him the first down fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way on the move it's Curry he'll get it to about the 25 before they put a stop to the return you will Monroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work how about the way they attacked the last time they had the ball fixing run and pass and winding up in the end zone Jesse that's why recruiting is so important they've got weapons at every skill position on the field any of these guys is dangerous if they touch the football let's see what they do on this drive David and so Palmer I got to take away something I can't let them have everything and have success I got to be aggressive against the run or play for the pass I can't give them [Music] everything he's going to pass got a man nice pitch and catch there and they'll have enough for the first down and now a fresh set of downs for this offense from the gun they'll try the middle I like feeding my guy I like getting my running back touches feeding the ball so we can break some of those big runs but I'm also okay with these little ones set the tone stay balanced from the gun the running back tries to hit the hole and he found plenty of Running Room on that one before the defense was fin finally able to get him down Smith takes the hand off and he does a really nice job finding open space and making a good game before the stop is made wide receiver now comes in motion after run run run now throw got his man touchdown warhawks and they add 64 to the board with that trip to the house that touchdown puts him up by at least two scores too early to say it's over probably but boy starting to feel that way it might not be over but you're in trouble and you better find some answers really really quickly this team is putting everything together and right now you got nothing going come on give me something they'll try to add another to their lead and the extra point puts him on top 21 to7 they put together a 74 yd touchdown Drive 21 UAV and he takes this from inside the five nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 UAB regains possession the Blazer offense back onto the field now we'll get a chance to see if they can answer that last score trailing by 14 Jesse Yeah and at this point in the game I feel like offensively you should go back to what's been working for you in this game don't be afraid to dial up plays that you've already had success with running it and throwing it it's okay to repeat plays down 14 at this point and I would also St Palmer kind of understanding that my defense is not playing great so I know offensively I got to put some good possessions together here make something happen on this side of the football knock down after getting six all the way out to the 34 yd line and the Blazers racing to the line in the hurry up back to throw it's Zeno shoots it to the left it's caught they got him free for a big Gainer down to the 43 the Blazers are moving quickly down the field and they just want to give this guy a chance to make a play on third down and more times than not he is going to deliver he's so good so efficient such a good route Runner got the speed got the complete game so you definitely want to highlight him and especially on those Downs that matter the most if something's not open Quick underneath find him he'll make those contested against and that's why if you're the offensive coordinator you've got to find as many ways as possible to get this guy going just get him the ball close to the line of scrimmage doesn't need to be a throw deep down the field he's so Dynamic when he has the ball in his hands you saw it right there fast motion from the offense touch pass on the Jet Sweep and he's brought down after a nice game and the Blazers have it with a first and 10 good enough for first they're going to throw it again spits it out to the back he CAU it and he haul it in but couldn't quite get it to the end zone Defense Forces him out of Bounds at the three quarterback wants to throw on second down takes it to the house touchdown Blazers touchdown UAV number n with the grab and the [Music] score P unit on the field is on for the extra [Applause] and with the extra point they're down a touchdown 2114 they go 83 yds on the drive and they finish it up with a three yd scoring [Applause] toss here he comes from inside his own five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 guys we'll see what this war hawk offense can get done this time they'll wrestle him down just short of the first down I don't even think they're going to bring out the change to measure this one on second down will they go back to the ground game fires to the middle holds it in he's brought down but there's a flag on the field let's see which way that's going to go the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty looking for a physical attack from the gun and he's brought to the ground but not before he gets enough for the first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs might as well give it to him again finds enough room to get three out to the 34 after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven p hold it on the bootleg fate unloads to the wide out just a bit of a misfire there as they can't make the connection they line up and it is a long way to the sticks from here on Third and long trying to have a big completion here and that's incomplete a Defender all over him knocked the ball to the ground fourth down coming up and the warhawks will putt this one away he's going to try to flip the field with this one takes it on the return everybody stays in their Lanes well enough and they stop him at the 31 yd line UAB has the ball back ready to send the offense out to go to work give to the running back and he's able to shed one tackle and gets a pretty good pickup the Blazers moving quickly to the line they want to run it left here nowhere to run on that one he loses four on the carry it's third down now they ought to be able to get off one more qu before the two-minute warning the clock has reached the two-minute Mark and they have a chance to at least cut into this lead before the break back to pass it's Zeno coming after it just threw that one away to avoid disaster and the Blazers will send out the punt unit see if he can help the coverage team out with this [Applause] one bringing it back it's Curry turns like that while you don't settle for the fair catch if you don't have to picks up just a little bit of yard to help out the open going up top on first down fires to the wide out makes the grab finally run out of B but he has this offense rolling with a first down the magic bean is spinning out of control already over 200 yards in the first half yeah they're being aggressive offensively throwing the football trying to take advantage of this defense on the back end they've got their quarterback right now in a Groove lining up from the 34 on first down he wants to throw gets open down the middle and he's a real Nowhere Man tackled in this no gain land he's back to throw on second down makes a connection and he's brought down after a nice game the warhawks will have it first and 10 trying to cap this drive with a pass it's complete and he will score touchdown you elro effective op leading the way here in in this lead and that's how you draw it up right you want to come out be clicking early get everything going way to get all the facets rolling the defense right now on their heels they have no answers the offense doing whatever they want lining up to tack one more onto that lead and the extra point is good for a 2814 lead quick work on that scoring drive just four play and they close the deal with a 16 yd throw for the touchdown on the move from inside is five just never had a chance to shake loose and he'll be brought down at the 24 UAB regains possession of the Blazer offense back onto the field getting late here in the first half they'll have a chance to make this a one possession game and the offensive play caller here has to really be dialed in it's important down two possession D that they're able to score some points and you got to call your best Stu in this twoin situation and such a good opportunity to cut it to a onore game create that momentum get some good juices going for the second half because obviously you know you built yourself a little bit of a deficit you need some good things to happen and it needs to happen on this possession looking to throw it's Zeno they've got the screen set up there's a timeout call as this offense tries to find a way to draw a Little Closer third and long from the 42 if they can get some of it it might give them a chance to go for it on fourth down from the gun wants to pass and they can't make the play on third down the Blazers will try to pin them back with the [Music] punt that thing was down for a while but the big bounce carried it into the end zone and it'll be a Touchback on first down here comes this offense out of the gun they give to the back sweet feat on the Move what a good run there he has enough for the first down just enough time to get off one more snap comes out throwing on first down grabbed in the middle it's Griffin he'll be brought down and that's the final play of the half at the end of the second quarter that means it's time to join Kevin in our halftime update thatas you had yourselves one great broadcast so far today there in Monroe each of these two offenses has looked like well oiled machines but it doesn't take a genius to figure out these two passing attacks have run circles around these defenses man or Zone nothing seems to be working and I'm not sure that defensive coordinator is going to be able to figure things out here at halftime and just like that let's head back to our team inside Malone Stadium and the Blazers will line up to kick off and start the second half on the run from inside his own five couldn't find a way to create that broken field as he stopped at the 25 U mroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work they opened this third quarter on top and they built the lead on the strength of that running game and they made a huge statement too just proving to the other team that they're more physical they're winning in the trenches so here in the second half David just keep demoralizing this defense by pounding the football yeah and and I'm not going to let that happen I riled up my guys at halftime we're going to put more people in the box and they we got to come out and meet the physical challenge of this offense effective draw plays in the running game really begin with a quarterback quarterback's got to be a great sail you got to really make the defense think it's pass you keep your eyes focused down field till the last possible second turnaround and hand it off and by that point the defensive ends have rushed way up field and there's less bodies for the running backs to have to maneuver around before finally moving forward and he breaks into the open they've got the defense reeling right now with that big play to the 29 l re you and I were talking about this before the game how is this defense going to be able to deal with all the speed they have offensively you saw them just rip off a big play and Jesse now their head's spinning just a little bit give up a big chunk play and it's right back at him [Applause] the give is to Smith you'll take four yards on first down every time second and six he's looking to throw working that left side and they make the Striking connection and they've got it down to the 13 yd line of Red Zone Champ he'll do it himself he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three got some work to do on second down after that last one they need 13 from the gun running back gets to give they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one seventh play of the drive coming up but a long way to go on third down looking downfield and he needs a bunch got his man on the right that's why as a defense you feel okay playing man coverage on third down because you know you've got linebackers and you've got players on your defense that can cover these dangerous running backs mono Mano nice job tackling in the1 [Music] they keep pushing that lead out and the kickoff team's getting some work he'll bring it back from inside to spot he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 UAB has the ball back ready to send the offense out to go to work after giving up that score now it's incumbent on this offense to kind of get a back and forth Jesse in this game they got to put some points on the board here there's obviously a lot of football to go so it's not necessarily Panic time just yet but I'm getting the ball into the hands of my best Playmakers on this drive I hear your seen my defense I mean I'm not trusting him to get a lot of stops so but he puts a lot of pressure on this [Applause] offense dropping back it's Zeno throws to the wide out another incompletion on third down the Blazers will call on their punt team running it back it's Curry returns going to get it up around Midfield he'll be down at the 49 yd line so first play of the drive coming here from their own 49 from the gun they'll try to impose their running game and just wedges it ahead a bit before he's brought down looks as if we have an injury on that last play and we'll take a break to check him out got three on first down it's second and [Applause] seven they'll run it from the gun they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this [Applause] one on Third and long try to convert through the air and he was drilled just as he released the pass it's incomplete and the warhawks send out the punt unit this will be the second time they've had to kick it away make sure that there's not going to be a return on this one balls out of bounds and I think they'll mark it right around the [Music] 25 going to run it it's BBE finds his way ahead for three out to the 27 yd line and the Blazers want to pick up the tempo dialing up as second down pass play and the pass is incomplete thanks to a big hit and this offense just can't afford not to get the first down here already trailing big and the clock is not their friend a strike downfield and he's running in the open TouchDown UAV he broke away from the defense and they couldn't catch him this game must be moving so slowly for this quarterback he sees everything two or three beats ahead way ahead I mean it's been been really really easy I better get some more hits on him I better do something to make him feel uncomfortable cuz right now it's just like oh you're running that yeah that's easy I mean he's he's already read your mail you better change the address do something different they'll try to attack one more on their score [Applause] and the extra point is good but they still Trail 31-21 quick strike offense on that three-play scoring Drive they finish things off with some flare a 73 yd touchdown pass he'll start the return inside his five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 guys we'll see what this war hawk offense can get done this time the give to the tail back and and how about that interior defense stuffing the run for nothing got stuffed on first down it's second and 10 the give out of the gun out across the 20 to the 21 yd line a three- yd gain now facing a third and long looking for a man it's Harry he got a hand in there knocks it away incomplete the warhawks will punt it away on fourth down arm pun [Applause] away not going to risk a return here calls for the fair Catch and makes it just around the 30 yd line line gets set first down on the run it's BBE finding a way to put that foot in the ground and get it up to the 37 yd line 6yd pickup on first down leaves him with second and four [Applause] oh it's reverse he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of perod a third and long coming up here from the gun wants to pass looking down the middle it's caught downfield just gashing this defense a big Gainer to the 40 yd line yeah and you see some quarterbacks to throw the ball in the middle I love it when you attack the whole field and the middle of the field and being able to throw over linebackers and between safties is a big skill but show that defense you're you will attack everywh they'll throw it on first down caught behind the line it's BBE and good coverage by the defense just a short game the back the Blazers are in the hurry up at the 3 second down coming up they'll Run play action got him downfield touchdown UAV and they take it in for six more points UAV got to start cutting into this lead somewhere now the question will they have enough time but that's step one you got to get that first score you got to get back in the ball game and get some of that momentum back on your side you still got more work to do but step one [Music] accomplished ready to try the point [Applause] after and with the extra point every little B counts as they get closer about to kick it away after scoring the [Music] touchdown UAV 2 and he takes this from inside the five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 you Monroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work he'll pull it on the read and he was fortunate not to lose yardage on that play able to wedge it back to the line of scrimmage and now on second down for this offense they're setting up the screen really good pick up on second down there leaves him with third and two trying to pick up a first down on Third and short they'll try to pick it up on the ground here fights his way for a couple but stopped short the marker it's fourth and one and the warhawks decide to pun it away [Applause] fair catch called for and made decent field position to start this drive from their own 33 he's looking to throw it got it in the middle it's Thomas and the catch was one thing and the Run even better a big pick up on that one the offense setting up shop at the 46 first and 10 used the play fake now to throw he's going to let one fly down the middle and this defense's head is spinning he gets it down to the 27 and the quarterback knew exactly where he wanted to go to the football had time spins the ball deep nice job by this offense understanding what the defense is giv him and creating an explosive play his offense lines up feeling awfully good after that big play from the gun the running back has it they make the stop but this running game moves to change as they get the first down and the Blazers headed quickly to the [Applause] line to the ground he's got it again he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down he leaves it with his back not much Running Room he's got one down to the 12 really need to pick up this conversion and avoid having to settle for the field goal to the air it's Ceno he's right on target and he's not going to get there the defense Stands Tall and makes the stop now on fourth down they'll try to come away with three it's good and the three who says defensive backs don't have hands nice job breaking on the football and making the catch a lot of times you see guys SWAT it down or you see them trying to catch it it looks like they have two left hands defensive backs don't catch real well nice job breaking on the football nice job securing the int and actually catching it first down here for the offense looking for a man it's Xeno fires to the wide out and he dropped it it looked for all the world like that would be catch and he just got too excited this has been a tight one third quarter all tied up it's now second and 10 gets it out quickly well it's a nice job by the defender there closing the Gap with the wide receiver they're going to complete the hitch pass and he's able to run right up on him get him to the ground for a minute or shotgun snap wants to throw it on Third and the DB right with him to knock it away the Blazers will bring the the punt team onto the field a fairly short distance here toward the sidelines not his best work this drive opens up at the 23 yd line they'll start this drive with a pass complete didn't pick up a lot there moved it Forward just a few and the short completion brings up second down up he's looking to throw he's got it that defense pushing him out of bounds after a short gain this is where you make the money on the drive ball at the 30 it's third and short we've been treated to an aerial show by these two guys so far as you check out their [Music] numbers we've swapped sides of the field and we are ready for the Finish as the fourth quarter gets underway on Third and short they'll try to pick it up with the pass excellent coverage and good use of the hands to knock it away and the warhawks line up to punt it away they've been busy out there to punt for the fifth sometimes that puts your defense in a bad spot and you got to get a drive together here so you don't wear the defense out I just think daveid too predictable that last Drive they got to do something to the right tremendous awareness along the sideline and the ability to get the foot down for the big pick up H you some of that and with that completion now he's over 400 yd on the day that's a really really good game for this quarterback he's been almost FL they've avoided the interception all day but they were lucky to get that one back here late it'll be second down they'll leave it with him on the move at the 30 and this offense is feeling it as they rip off a big chunk of yardage and they got it on the 22 one of the things I love about this offense Reese is they have tons of speed they like to try to get the ball going east west that time they generated a huge play going to the right side and the defense either not fast enough to fit or got knocked out of the fit yeah they got to do a better job containing that as this game goes on they got to funnel the football back to the middle of the field it's a reverse that play just never had a chance a knock him down for a loss of five hit a speed bump on that last play now work to do on second and 15 here's to give off the left side defense holds Dar Brown pick up of a yard it's at the 26 seventh play of the drive coming up but a long way to go on third down and he'll pick up the first down after a tough run there the Blazers come to the line with a fresh set of downs might as well run him until they stop him he's got it again pick up of one it's down at the 11 operating in the Red Zone here on second down looking for space it's Jacobs pick up of one it's down at the 11 boy they'd love to move the sticks here and take a shot at it on first and goal on Third and long he's going to have to throw for it touchdown Blazers and with that they move out front here in the fourth how about the offense they spread them out everybody spread wide easier to read a defense when you do that they find the matchup they want and they get rewarded with the score [Music] lining up to add another the kicker is on for the extra point the extra point is good and now in the fourth they're up by a touchdown and an extra point 76 yds on the drive for the touchdown and they finish it with an 11 yd touchdown D he'll bring it out it's Smith and The Return Man reaches the end of the line and down he goes you Monroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work they hope to be able to cash in on this drive David after having to punt it last time yeah and I think this offense needs to start it with the first play you need to be successful and productive on that first play and it gets you in less predictable situations no doubt too don't you just feel like there's a little bit more sense of urgency on this drive it just feels like they've got to be able to put some points up on the board here after losing a couple on that last play here's second and [Applause] 12 they'll ride the running back and leave it with him he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three this is a third and long back to pass it's hering and the pressure gets there and down he goes at the on Third and long you know what's coming that's exactly where you want to get an offense the passing game has to come out you go nickel bring some more speed on the field and the defensive line gets home and gets the sack to force the fourth down the warhawks will punt this one away and these guys have been busy sixth punt of the [Applause] day he only needs a sliver of daylight pressure on the coverage team there and they'll stop him at the 47 yd line UAB has the ball back ready to send the offense out to go to work going to the running game just a solid stop by this sophomore and the Blazers want to move [Applause] quickly on the ground it's BBE and excellent Vision to find Running Room there and make a really good pick up before the defense put a stop to it man it's so nice to have a guy that you can depend on like this this offense is built around him for a reason just a a good running back you can see gets north south doesn't dance picks up positive yards breaks tackles he's just a really good player and that's why this offense runs [Applause] through off the play fake on first down fires to the middle wide open downfield and chunk plays are the name of the game and they get one here before the defense finally makes the stop it's important on offense in the passing game you've got to have balance and I mean you got to be able to attack different thirds of the field you got to work the perimeter to both sides you got to let the defense know too that you're not afraid to go over the middle they did right [Applause] there they're looking to pass from the Red Zone he looks that one in nicely on he's there to make the Stop and they threw it in reverse losing yardage on that [Music] play moving the running back forcing the defense to [Applause] adjust got it and he's into the end zone touchdown UAV UAV this guy is officially a problem his second receiving touchdown of the game nice job by the offense dude if I've got a match up I bike continue to pick at it until they stop [Music] it he'll try to add another to their lead for the extra [Applause] point and the extra point is true and they have a two touchdown lead up 14 in the fourth kickoff team lining up to send this one away1 on the move from inside is five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 guys we'll see what this war hawk offense can get done this time to the air it's Harry safe completion on the screen they make the stop but a good pick up there on first down here comes the offense on second down second down he's looking to throw quick strike complete and he's knocked down immediately but not before he moves the chains looking to go up top on first down can't hang on and he'll tell you he really should have made that catch and he had an opportunity right in the middle it'll be second down he wants to throw it again unloads to the wide out and they won't be able to connect down field looking for a big time play third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a doozy if they can pull it off oh man another incompletion that's three in a row down by multiple possessions you can't come up empty on this drive they'll go for it on fourth down they got him it's a sack and what a stop for this defense to turn it over on Downs all right so they fail him at fourth down but the game is not over yet there's still time defense has to get the ball back quickly offense is going to have to score quickly you have to execute now UAB regains possession of the Blazer offense back onto the field this has been exactly the way you draw things up David the offense has really been moving the just too much hate that time and they knock him down at the 31 they'll tell you that somebody's always going to pop open but it didn't happen in time before they got the sack no it did not and you know what I'm going to remember this I'm going to remember zone defense they didn't really have an answer they weren't ready to get rid of the football quarterback hesitated I got to him and got him on the ground might be a good call later on in the game they'll probably bleed every second possible off this clock before they snap it you he find makes his way forward gets away from one but not much doing on that one third play of the drive and they need to take advantage of this field position by making something happen on Third and long it's complete they get him down but this off is set up first and goal from the nine he's tackled at the 9 yd L first and goal UAV [Applause] and he'll finish the run in the end zone touchdown UAV UAV number eight in the Endo he'll try to tack on one more for the extra point and the extra point splits the upright and they're up a full three touchdowns a 21o cushion in the fourth the kickoff unit about to go to work on the run from inside his own five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down here make the stop at the 19 U Monroe has it back in the offense ready to go to work it's complete to the right and the defense settled in to stop that one for a short gain and the warhawks in the hurry up back to throw it's Harry fires to the wide out what a job to lay out and make the cat the offense gets a quick timeout at this point every second is pressure [Applause] he'll come out throwing on first down and the ball comes out what a disastrous play and the defense jumps on it they get that turnover those are hard for offensive line when they get beat and you're going no look out for your Blind Side watch out but that great job rushing the quarterback getting him on the ground and getting the football out a little extra bonus nice job by the defense getting nasty short Fields make successful offense is just what they want here they'll run it they want to take their time here a 7yd pickup it'll be second and three we reached the two-minute warning and this offense is that much closer to salting away a victory keeping it on the ground with the single back he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple offense breaks the Huddle on third down [Applause] from the gun wants to pass throws to the back snagged on the outside it's phbe he's run out of bounds but they've got it now first and goal first and they'll try to get it in with the run that play just never had a chance they knock him down for a loss of five defense rolls up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming they'll keep it on the ground looking for the end zone and
