look at the size of this queue the fan base is quees for absolutely anything is mad this hours before kickoff and we have got this many people waiting to go inside the stack mention the 2,000 people that are already inside the stack welcome to day two of St james' stack I'm here today to show you how the new stack would actually operate on a match day we have the first day of the Sal weekend the cast taking on Jona on a Friday night so we're going to go inside we're going to see on a busy match how is the new fans going to run and I want to answer your burning questions that you guys have been asking me yesterday since the opening of the stack and I like to start off with actually some some lovely bits that the stack has added into their building so straight away if you have someone who is Autistic or you are with a family member or friend of someone that might not like loud noises or might want to be involved with a stack with having Lads of people around them if you contact the stack in advance or email somebody that works for the yeah there are actually rooms inside that I designed to have people in there where I don't know exactly it's the Cent room or what it would be but it'll just help uh a more inclusive fan Zone get in there so people who are autistic people who may not be the best around large noises and a lot of people there's rooms designed where that will accommodate you so people who are the same could go inside and actually enjoy the experience even though it is quite a busy place but yeah keep that in mind cuz I thought I was lovely I had a chat with couple of guys before where they told me that they contacted the stack in advance they got someone sorted out for them so spot on well done to the stack on that and I want to start in terms of the questions by answering the obvious one beer you guys love beers we are in Newcastle with the city of the pounds I would say how much does it cost and what did they have available so I'm going to show you some bayr footage now of the draft that is there if you like that sort of Beverage then there was plenty of one of these six different bars at the bars are quite wide as well so it's easy to get served it's quick it's efficient and you guys don't have to wait long at the que so definitely if you want a pain is the play for you in terms of prices now I paid six6 yesterday for the world's first pint inside that stack of Corona it cost me6 so the terms of average I'll probably go between the5 to7 pound Mark I don't know the exact price on every single P of beer but what a fall between the 5 to7 Mark and Cocktails are around 10 to 11 each so in terms of the cic prices I would probably say it's around average if not slightly inflated so on the high end of the average scale in my personal opinion I actually thought there would be slightly more I thought there' be an additional inflation because the fact that is james' stack and in Stack's defense there's a lot of Li BS inside it's quite an authentic experience with there's thousands of people in there you could argue it's not just buying a pain you're going in there for the experience you could argue in Stacks case that they entitled to have a bit of an inflated price but obviously for me I want to tell you the truth be as honest as possible prices are a little on the high end but I don't think they're that bad honestly was expecting to be worse so I don't think it's the worst thing in the world is the Wi-Fi is the next question someone asked me technically yes there is Wi-Fi but it is not available to the public there is only private Wi-Fi so for you guys I want to go in there the service outside St James Park it's horrendous it is crap it is not great at all it's going to stay that way if not get worse because there's more people congregating around the stadium so unfortunately no available public WiFi which I was a little surprised by I thought there would be now I've been to the Box po a couple of them in London before again similar situation where you go to London there are so many people there these box BS are massive like two or three times the size of this stack and during the week it'll be fine because connection wise it should be okay in the data but on a match day not great so I want to let you know about that the question I got asked was how busy has it been so far now I went in there Friday afternoon 300 p.m. so taking the context yes it is a school holiday so children are going to be off but a lot of adults are a lot of them are supposed to be working or at least they going to be doing something during the day it's busy it is very busy you will not get a seat even at that time it's the first match day that is open so chances might die down over time but it was surprisingly busy when I went in there so we're going to see over the course of the day how busy it actually gets especially around that 2our Mark before kick off CU I think that's when the majority of fans is going to stumble in when I've had a bit of drink you can actually see just down there where that is actually going to be the line that is going to be start to be developed over the day as the time progresses and once it get to a certain capacity by law the stack is not allowed anyone into the security are going to work where you walk out one exit somebody else is allowed in so by Lord only allowed a certain amount of people in so once it get to that limit you've got to wait till somebody leaves the stack and then you are entitled to going afterwards so I think especially when it gets limit I think it'll be a couple of thousand or so then uh it's going to be a bit of a nightmare in the cube we're going to see today it's not a bad fixture for the stack because I don't think the J game is going to sell out but at the same time it's still going to be a lot of people there especially with being so soon since it's open so let's get inside there nothing me talking let's show you everything about the stack and let's just show you how many people enjoy themselves on this Friday afternoon [Music] look at the size of this queue the fan base is quees for absolutely anything is madness a new stuck first much so H in there lad and Jo so but all the que is absolutely massive so it goes all the way around the side and as I just said before it doesn't matter what it is we just Quee for anything it it's just it's crazy we queue for the kit launch we queued in Japan we queued out here the new St going to be queuing again on Tuesday for the new a kick coming out it is just mad to see the the admiration for this football club and just people that just want to see everything in Newcastle at a minute and S an actually gold M look at this it just loops around this is just to go inside have like a pint you can go like anywhere else for a p hello M hello you good M yeah that is just mad three hours before kickoff and we have got this many people waiting to go inside the stack now I mention the 2,000 people that are already inside the stack so the way that this works is of course crowd control so whenever by law somebody leaves the stack down there there'll be a walkie-talkie or some form of way to pass information to this C at the front will let them through and a one by one bases one thing I have noticed about the queue that even though it is quite long you can see at the front it's quick a lot of people are going in a fast rate so when you w I would say I generally think that's less than a 10-minute we I don't think it's that long now you got to remember especially a kit launch for example you're not going in there you're not getting your Shir it's quite a quick process where I'm sure a lot of people are just go in for casual drinks or something to eat they pop it straight out and for New Castle fans they want to CH there for a bit I feel like for a lot of the fans today as well just a lot of people just almost just checking the stack out popping in seeing how it is and then popping out for a bit but the match I'm sure as I mentioned before once the H dies down a little bit I feel like the fans here Cong at different bars around St James so it should have quite a natural process but even though there's a new competitor here for the likes of the strawberry and the lik likes of the Shark Bar I think long ter won't actually damage those PES I just feel like on a shortterm basis there'll be a bit of an impact on it but I still think longterm will be quite healthy for everyone I just think there be more fans around here on the match day which is actually a good thing for likes of the strawberry and Shop or CU I got a few people are go on there have a couple of drinks get drunk and then they'll go straight out and go to a different bar instead of going directly to St James I feel like people will switch around the bars and because of an extra bar being here a couple thousand people I these individual fans will actually go to different bars around the castle and just enjoy themselves around the area don't that's my personally feel maybe I'm just trying absolute crap but uh honestly it's impressive to see just look at that it's a b it's not a kit La you're not meeting a new play this is just the they have the right to go to stack and have a few drinks in there I just I love how excited this fan base is it is honestly fantastic to see so this is how shira's bar is looking around the 2 to 3 hour mark before kickoff so we're going to go inside and see with the new stack being a direct competitor Well shira's Bar still have loads of people inside you can see in the Terrace there's a few people there let's have a look inside this is where the real tester is going to be and to be honest not much difference actually um I'm going through here now it's still still quite big sry still a big Queue at the bar there still a lot of people here we may be going under the biggest political protest in Newcastle probably my lifetime but life goes on and you can say it's in J stack it does not matter everyone has enjoying themselves we're going to see how the queue is looking today it was busy yesterday Friday and night it is now busy today so this is a Saturday around 11:00 a.m. two hours until the women's team kicks off and then we got about 5 hours until the men's team kicks off theend these figures yesterday were 31,000 today I'm not sure if it's going to be more or less because of the protest going on I would have see more because it's a Saturday but then again how many people were dropped out because of the protest so it's been an unknown entity but again you probably estimated middle 30s and you just see how busy this stack is so I'll tell you now you've got to come hours in advance if you want to come to this new stack I think once that once it dies down a little bit bit easier to get and you can see how quick the queue is you can go back to the queue here probably take you 10 15 minutes again which is actually not that bad but you can just see again is looking like there's every single day in a match this but I hope you have enjoyed watching the stack 2 day Vlog where we went inside day one and and day two of the S weekend and the main thing to take away from this video is how busy the place is make sure you plan accordingly or make sure you have protocols in place where you're either going during the week or you're going at a decent time where you know you're going to get yourselves in to be fair the queue is actually quite quick 10 minutes you're probably in the place so it's not exactly a bad queue and it it does go by fast again how the laws work once someone comes out someone is then allowed to go in so has to be a certain but handled quite well in all honesty they've clearly been prepared for extreme amount of fans coming in they clearly learn on the club shop over the past couple years how many people are will just stand I would say and just to wait for God knows how long to get inside the stack they clearly learns and you can see everything seems to be smooth and despite this being one of the worst political days in the castle probably in my lifetime Stacks running smoothly towns operating well and no complaints everything's safe as far as I can tell recording this video and it's been a brilliant launch for them three good days so far once the Premier League season begins then we'll see on a week by week basis how will the stack C and I'm expecting to continue to be busier at a good rate because stack in the past when it was no funding Street was always busy stack wherever it may be across the nor always been a busy player this should be no different it's been a great experience it's been great checking out how it's been and be playing more videos inside the stack so stay tuned any questions let me know and be happy to potential du f videos in the future
