questions for de desm you were uh you were very much the Workhorse today and getting all the touches uh how did how were you feeling in the fourth quarter after you know all those yards that you guys were still moving the ball uh sure I mean I just wanted to win you know I I just want to do whatever I could just to help win so whether that was passing game running game I just wanted to help break break down that 60 yard touchdown catch you had over the middle seemed like it was just a slant you got behind the line oh yeah I I I knew it was going to be a touchdown before the play I knew that was running man coverage I knew I was one one with that lineb I just know I just had to beat him and I did and I just know once I catch that ball I'm out of there so that's what happened especially in the second half like maybe limping a little bit the many times the many times do you find kind of strength I say I do whatever I could just to help the team win but you know I just I knew uh a lot of the stuff they was going do like while I'm in there and Sh I I really just wanted to help the team so then that's what I did help the team when you know we on to the next week though what was the team's demeanor like when you're down 27 to6 like what was kind of the belief or kind of the way the lock or the sideline was acting oh yeah on the sideline I mean we were just like man just keep our head up shoot we going to keep fighting we just kept fighting half time came we still we still like the game ain't over you know we came out we had got stopped on the fourth down but after that we we just we started rolling and Sh went on from there what's it what was it like in the fourth quarter kind of watch Eli just kind of on a roll like that oh he just he just got locked in you know everything slowed down for him and you know I just I I knew that was going to happen you know started off a little slow but he got comfortable and that's what happens when when he going to be comfortable you know we going to make big play and that's what going happen there's a play there I think it was in the fourth quarter got off the line scage started punching the ground you you were gone oh yeah yeah I got clipped up a little bit I knew if I have got past that I would have been the touchdown you know I was a little mad at what's up with that but sure I made up for it so happy with that what does it say about this off you guys can score so quickly you're down 21 with less than five minutes in the third quarter you're able to do that but even the end of the first half you get 23 seconds you get dill or get a kick what does it say about you guys I mean k k b shoot when I was at the other school we SC in like 15 seconds so you know I know if it's if it's like 20 seconds at least on that that time we gonna get down we gonna get some type of points and sure I just trust K to tra K he trust us so he call good plays and we got down there what can you say about Eli's ability to adjust to what Cincinnati was doing they were dropping lots of guys and coverage something he was frustrated early but he said like hey I had to play faster and that actually helped him he just had to calm down you know he was trying to go deep a lot early and he was playing three saf so you know it's hard to go deep on that he just had to slow slow it down to get comfortable and that's what happened you think about just being able to perform like you did in a game like this you a big time atmosphere Big Time come back with like this I mean I'm happy with what I did but I'm really just proud of the team you know we fought back that shows a lot about how the season could go you know we was down a lot of points we came back you know that's what I'm really happy about I'm not I mean I'm happy about what I did but I'm more proud about what the team did what did you like from your offive line oh yeah they was they was they were playing like some dogs today you know that's what we've been talking about the whole we start with the line and they started they they just played from quarter one to quarter four you know they they just played hard and I love them boys see seem like they took a collective step forward this week did you see a sense of growth and maturity over the week leading up to this oh yeah you know we made made a couple mistakes uh K State game corrected them and Sho they was just locked in this whole week so I already knew what type of timing they was on coming into the game and they did they did their thing final that's than you thank you
