good afternoon the 49ers continue to add depth to their defensive positions and today the 49ers announced that they resigned linebacker Demetrius Flanagan fouls to a one-year deal a little bit of a surprise as yesterday he was not offered a contract tender as a restricted free agent making him an unrestricted free agent but today they announced that they resigned them to a one-year deal so it appears that they probably brought him back on a little bit of a cheaper deal we'll see how the details work out down the line but Demetrius Flanagan fouls was a solid special teamer along with George Odom Oren Burks and Charlie Warner and Sam Womack you know he was one of their core special teams guys on the team and a also a solid depth piece and with Aziz al-shahir going to the Titans Demetrius Flanagan fouls can add solid depth along with Oren Burks and Marcelino Mercury ball those three guys can probably duke it out for that linebacker three spot you know behind Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw but again Demetrius finally getting foul's one-year deal they resigned them to the team a very key special teams player 49ers are doing a good job of bringing back some key role players you know not elite players or big time starters but solid role players that you need on a 53-man roster at the end of the day so again let me know what you guys think in the comments as always about the 49ers bringing back Demetrius Flanagan fouls a key special teams player and a guy that can compete and maybe uh win that linebacker three spot he's been on the team for a few years so let me know what you guys think in the comments
