#Eagles vs. Packers: Devin White OUT! Trade Rumors & Quinyon Mitchell's Next Move

[Music] yo yo yo welcome back to the no cut sports podast with your host n Frasier and today we got a few things we need to talk about but before we get started could you please like comment and subscribe to always catch this Vibe man y'all already know so we had breaking news breaking news craziness all types of wildness going on right now man uh Devin White did not well he will not be participating in uh Friday's upcoming game in Brazil against the Green Bay Packers um yesterday they had him uh where the Eagles had him Limited in practice with an ankle injury and then today they make the announcement that he would not be traveling with the team to Brazil and participating in the game so um it's kind of some heartbreaking I don't want to say heartbreaking but some I don't even want to say devastating but it's kind of like crazy to hear all of a sudden um even the injury just kind of like popped up out of nowhere and now was affecting him to the point where he can't even fly with the team um some some other information or rumors that came out that they thought about um even trading thinking about trading for Devon white because I guess you know noobe Dean is stepped up and are liking the linebackers that they do have now I'm going elaborate on both of those topics but first thing I want to say is this I really do think that and I don't want to sit there and say I want to get too far ahead of myself but I do like noobe Dean but I know they went out and got Deon way for you know specific reason you know Kobe Dean couldn't stay healthy we know the talent's there but you know we know Deon way is somewhat proven um you know he had a chip on the shoulder situation going on down there in Tampa Bay uh but he was looking at getting the contract down there and then that all fell apart so with that being said we ended up picking him up you know Oney year deal and I thought that he would be a key contributor to this team now it's not to say that he still can't be um I just you know hopefully he's only out for this week and we see him in you know week two or week three and so forth and so on but at the same time it's kind of weird all of a sudden this is happening um I don't want to read too much into it like I said I don't think he's getting traded or anything like that but it is something to talk about something to report um I had said in the mean green podcast and shout out to my man Mr Reggie but I'm was saying I'm like you know and this is before the ankle injury was even a thing but I was sitting there saying to him I was like you know if Devon white plays well this season you know he's going to command a Payday so and the Eagles already got other players we talked about M Willam and things like that but the Eagles got other players that they have to pay too and and the players that they just paid so um you know salary cap going to get thin somewhere and um you know Deon way and we expected Devon way to go out here like I said um in the in the podcast but him being a first round draft pick still young um still looking you know for that you know a big contract he should be able to go out here and perform now I don't know if something got lost in transition you know with what was going on or my man's just really injured and he can't play but at the same time they also had Vic Fango in his press conference saying that the linebacker position is not solidified yet um you know for for anybody so he's going to I guess throughout the uh uh next couple of weeks you know try different combinations of linebackers and whoever else he thinks needs to be out there and see how it pans out but I'm for sure that was a conversation you know that the Eagles had about you know if Devon white plays well this year what do we do with him do we pay him you got Isaiah Rogers who he's another player that you know if he produces as well do you keep him with slay leaving next year or you know he was talking about retiring in the next couple uh couple years but um we're not playing too much longer but yeah so many different uh things that you know go into to these situations but the whole Devon white situation I really just wanted to you know I'm not like I said I'm not going to read too much into it I think the man has an injury you know hopefully we got to play day by day see if next week you know see if he participates in practice this week and see if he plays next week and we can talk about oh well you know this that and the third is going on but um yeah it's just kind of a heartbreaker but I keep saying Heartbreaker it's not a heartbreaker but it's it's just it's just some news you weren't expecting to get today so um but with that being said man the Kobe Dean this is his time to shine um if you didn't get the chance to watch the uh mean green podcast I talked about the 53 man roster that I went on this was the Eagles official website I went on the website and they had Devon White and the kobby dean split in first team reps which to me was a little weird because it was not n Dean but um Devon white who was getting most of the first team reps alongside Zack bone and then Zack bone to me didn't play too well he did pick it up you know as he got back you know as as different games he played and he you know he's getting acclimated to a new system as well but um I just want to see what combination they use this Friday man cuz um you got to stop that run Josh Jacobs he's a beast um but him too you know they they got their PR over there too and I'll probably make a more in-depth detailed video on that but just staying on the Kobe Dean man this is his this is his time to shine man um the team was very high on him they they wanted to give him the Green Dot last year but you know injuries uh uh plagued him and he couldn't get out there on the field so and we had a whole situation with that last year but um if ncoe Dean can stay healthy I just want to see what he can do man but I would like to see if it's ncoe Dean and Zack Bon or they do a different combination because I know him and Jeremiah trer played pretty well together out there on the field and um Jeremiah TR is another draft pick that I'm for sure the Eagles want to you know get out there on the field probably not rush him you know what I mean but he has played well in some of his games you also seen some things that he need really does need to work on and um but I think the best thing for these younger guys is to get out there on that field man get the Reps cuz you know you you can only do so much in practice man you want to you know you got to do game speed things you gota you got to see it you know right there in your face when you're in the game so um hopefully these guys get to uh participate and hopefully they show out man but um that linebacker and that that that that uh defensive line are two the two the big things that I'm looking for man I'm not really too worried about the secondary to be honest with you um I know why I say that is because of the talent that we had back there and the talent that we did acquire through the draft in this off season so I'm pretty I'm pretty cool with Q Q's another person that we need to talk about they said that um Vic Fel also said that he would be getting 100% of the snaps but he also spoke again to the fact that he wants Q to learn one position he doesn't want Q to you know be learning a bunch of different positions and be all over the field but it's great to hear that quinan can go out here play different positions and be effective at all those positions you know some guys like Bradberry last year they threw Bradberry what was it in the nickel and that's not his that's not his thing so now bradberry's out for 6 to8 weeks and we something else we got to monitor on that as well but it is what it is man this is football you just got to roll with the punches um you got to put the best guys out there so I'm for sure that you know Vic fangio is going to you know put his his best guys out there um also even adapt to anything that he's seeing too so um I know he did it in the preseason and it didn't even take no time so um I'm just looking forward to what this with this with this 2024 2025 Eagles team can do um I really got you know Sky's a limit for him man I know a lot of people got these guys not finishing uh a top of the NFC but I do man with a with a team like this um and the key the key additions that they added was saquin doson like I said the draft picks and and Isaiah Rogers like I said Devon white even though he's not playing this team has no excuses this year at all man at all so I don't think I'm going live for the uh for the not the preseason game but the first game I'm going have some people over but um I will be doing a uh probably a recap to the game and then um me and Mr Reggie probably gonna go live uh sometime this weekend um I got to talk to him I know me and his schedule be a little off you know he works and I work too as well so um yeah man but I'm just looking forward to you know the guys like I said you know just getting his dub coming back home and then playing at the link week to and then just keeping it rolling from there man but we have to set the tune this coming Friday like I said I'll probably make another video I'm talking about the game a little bit more in detail but we have to make a statement this Friday man it's no more it's CU they're looking they're looking to see what we did this all season with the collapse that we had last uh this past off
