half man I'm I'm not going to lie like we all came together as a team bro so like with him over there defense you know just us having to maintain throughout the week you know staying focused doing the little things right so us as a team the old line K had a great day o line had a great day everybody have a great day so now we just looking forward on to Iowa State and fixing fixing the little things and you know coming together more as a team and you know battling it out so how ready were you in the second half after you didn't get to go this I was I was I was ready to go man I was ready to go but like I said first half Cher my teammates on you know every time get a little big run or something like that cheering Kamari on Kamari did a great job Sean did a great job like I said K on line everybody did a good job so about that first long R and that felt good that felt good it felt real good man so I I'm just so glad to be back on the team be back with the team you know helping us win so what happened at halftime what was said that kind of spurred that second half surge on offense it was it was just like us just like you know fixing the mistakes and fixing what we did wrong in the first half and making it 10 times better going even if we mess up going 11% so that's what we did today and I feel like second half you know we did a completely great job so now like I said we go back and we look at what we did wrong and you know keep moving forward the defensive guys are in here smiling because they pitched a shut out and they're not even the story of the game it's the offense how nice is it to to be the top feels great hey Jay over there he talking so you know he over talking so it feels great just just to know like we put 40 points on the board and it wasn't just them so I'm just so happy to be part of this team and you know just be happy to be back of different people too talk the Titans the wide receivers it seemed like it was a team effort espe it was yes it was it was all the team effort like I said everybody did everything right everybody like I said everybody did everything right but like I said first half you know had a little hook hiccups and all that but second half we came back you know did 110% got the win hard was that for you in the first half to have to sit that one out and just kind of watch watch I I was hurt because you know I love football so much so it was just for me just not to be out there and you know playing it just like it hurt to me so you know just cheer my teammates on and you know you know just waiting till the second half so can you describe maybe what Tim Lester has done behind the scenes leading up to today in the preseason you like kind of help you a lot have a performance like this as a as a unit um you know just the little things you know just our aiming points where we need to be at the running back we need to be at you know o line where they need to be at who they need to guard and all that so it just feel like he just know everything every little thing that we need to do like I said we got to go back and you know fix up some things that we did in the first half so in the first half it seemed like everybody was One play One Missed assignment here one screw up here and and it really held you guys back in the second half it seemed like those plays came together and there was a confidence that you guys played with how can you describe how that felt to know you went out there and everybody was kind of like all right rolling um I felt really good because like I said like we came back in here and you know everybody know what they was doing wrong we you know we had little tablets and everybody went back and see what they was doing wrong and you know came back second half everybody calmed down and chill so came back like I said came back half% on everything we did and to win so was there anything today that felt different having Seth Wallace instead of Kirk fence anything about game day that was different or felt different to you no no it wasn't nothing nothing was different with him so you know it's us and the staff so it's really us talk they going to play so you know he you know coach Wallace man he he's he's a good he's a good guy I love coach Wallace even though even though you know we have a little bit beef because he's on a defensive side and you know he over there but still like that I love that man he's cool so I can't for C fans to come back and we all be together as a staff as a team again so that's great CB it it just kind of seems like you're a little more maybe boisterous joyful than we've seen you in a while post game I just tell me how how are you feeling I me two touchdowns your your performance obviously was was pretty good um I feel great man I'm just you know I'm no it just be over the years just like you know just getting used not being nervous in front of you guys so you know just just coming in you know talking to you guys like normal people and you know just telling you guys what's what it is Happ going on so okay what kind of Norm just normal just nor we talking so it's good man you know I I just can't wait for Iowa State get back you know into the you know lessons and learn what we did wrong and get back on the practice field and you know so get ready for Iowa State so I know I know it's still early but what do you feel like the like the offense is capable of this season oh we we're capable of so much man this this just the first game so I just I just can't wait for us to develop more we're developing more and more and more so like I said I just can't wait for us to just to see what we do in the future so walk me through kind of what you saw on each of those two touchdowns say it again um walk me through what you saw on each of those two touchdown green grass green grass I mean like the little long run I saw a little bit of people but I just ran through it you know like I said this year like I told you guys in offseason like my focus was physicality you know breaking tackles Yak you always have the contact so just me just doing that and me improving on that is a really big help for me so I feel like that's that's my improved game so so something I in speaking about that I remember you saying trying to discern whether you need to bust the outside or hit somebody in the mouth do you feel like today was a step in the right direction I did I made sure I made sure that happened so if they my way hit them so so C was on my way I hited them make them feel it and broke broke out for a run so what did you see from Kamari I know you mentioned that you thought he did well in the first half that dude he he he is so he is so a great person bro even in like I'm saying even off the footb football field make everybody smile has jokes smiling so he's a person I love how he runs he runs like um Aaron Aaron Bay so you know he just reminds me of so much of him and just so much of his physicality and how he runs and he don't care he bring his shoulder down so you know he's he's he's good lesan Williams too so that's my boy too and Max white don't forget about Max so I'm just but who I really appreciate though is the coaches and you know the team and especially my old line so you talk about 64 run and how that kind of kind of scoop through there yeah um you know I got vertical like like I said being more physical and not really buming to outside a lot and finding a hole and hitting it so they they over pursued me when 17 so cuted it up saw green grass took off so what was
