Intro Chuck RoR from angelswin.com here I am with Kaden Dana the Angels number one Prospect Kaden how you doing great how are you good good hey uh you know how would you evaluate your season so far I me so far so good you're looking good uh consistent that's probably what I would say just more consistent than I was last year yeah anything different uh from growth-wise or pitch you know repertoire wise uh from last year to this year uh a little bit yeah I think my SL is a little little harder um but general just mindset obviously is probably the biggest uh difference for moner yeah um what do you feel like you need to to work on to to get to the next level um at the big leagues um I know I I I can't find any flaws in your game but I meant if you if you felt like you need to work on something what would it be um trying to just hold my comp I feel like uh to get up there you get easily it's easy to let the nerves take over so yeah probably being able to control that is probably going to be the hardest you know challenge for me yeah um tell us a a little bit about your pitches uh your repertoire like what do you throw throw a four seam um a spike Cur ball and a slider and kind of like a split change up okay is that a new edition split change up or no like I kind of like split my middle fingers a little bit pretty wide and I've been throwing it since I got to Pro bow is it a is it a good two strike pitch for you yeah it depends on the hitter but yeah uh I mean that's just that comes along with right um like seeing things throughout the game sure yeah um what has been your your best start Best start today whether I mean I mean career-wise even amateur going back to high school or pro ball something that's your most most memorable start um most memorable start I mean Pro Bowl I would have to say I started on the 4th of July in Eugene last year that was very cool uh that was probably like one of the biggest crowd was like seven or 8,000 people which is pretty cool um and but I mean b leue cap this year starting against the white socks that was that was probably like the coolest one that's cool yeah like trout trout and center field which was mindblowing but yeah it was cool that must have been surreal to just have trout behind you yeah it was the last out of my outing was like I was like oh he's got it I was like wait my trout that's cool though um who are some of your your favorite Favorite players players and and teams growing up and is there a picture or two that you kind of model your game after on the mound um I don't really like uh model any after anyone um but I mean growing up I was always a Red Sox fan my my grandpa worked in Fenway for 10 years um and so like I was always I was always like a hitter Watcher so like I watch David Ortiz Samuel just answered the same thing he's a Red Sox guy and David Ortiz was his guy yeah I'm like I watch Josh Hamilton a lot uh but like just Lefty hitters that's all I watched and I honestly didn't really watch pitches growing up really yeah it was it was I was thought I was going to be a hitter yeah wow sometimes you don't know what your destiny right ex um have the Angels given you any indication about throttling down your Innings pitch as the season kind of comes to an end here with about seven weeks left uh no they haven't really said anything I mean so far right now it's just off a leash which is nice um they let me go which I like trying to like like let me feel comfortable and get used to that and I can say as from a fans perspective running a a fan site that it's good to that to let to see how long you can go you know I hate it when guys get pulled in the fifth inning you know and they still got more in the tank you know I know they're trying to save their arms for the future but kind of like what the angels are doing here with you in particular yeah um who's one Major League hitter Major League hitter if you were to make it to the big Leakes that you would like to face and strike out um probably just because I'm from New York and I would love to pitch in yane stadium probably Aaron judge Samari said the same thing yeah I'm saying like if I'm back home I have my family at the game family friends at the game and I punch out her and judge that' be that' be a big memory he mentioned judge and Otani so that's funny Lighter Side um so I mean okay real quick uh Lighter Side favorite movie what's your go-to you can watch it over and over and over Troy Troy oh good one I mean you do kind of look like that's what I'm trying to pull off here man uh favorite song artist uh what's your genre of music uh I listen to a lot of evm right now oh okay yeah um right now our favorite song it's good workout music too yeah uh I I got to say it's called tears and a Visa and oh my my teammate actually put me on so really well put it on my Spotify check it out should it's good uh you play video games any favorite video games a little bit I mean uh fortnite was always a big one for me yeah um I started playing that new NCA game oh there you go right now it's should probably just fortnite yeah um what's the per what's a perfect day look like for you away from the ballpark um coffee and breakfast in the morning with friends and family gym uh golf and then a steak dinner that that is so funny Logan oapp two years ago asked him the same question he said the exact same thing breakfast coffee with f family workout and then a steak dinner I can do that every day my life you guys are built the same way too I mean uh all right last question when you're I know this is way ahead uh but when you're done playing baseball uh what does your next career look like um I definitely want to be down in West Palm Florida uh so I think probably looking into some real estate down there um I mean I would have zero no problem like working at a golf course or something like that cading or something like just doing any job outdoors I would do that that's great great well kayen thank you so much for your time today and best of luck and uh we'll see you in Anaheim soon appreciate it all right take care now
