even though it wasn't a solo as a combined effort um just being part of history and something like that is fun um for myself for family members for friends um and for definitely for the guys that you know came in the game and contributed and something that i thought was pretty funny was i don't think a single single reliever knew that it was a no-hitter until after they got done throwing their inning i knew after my inning i looked up at the scoreboard and i was like oh wow now it all makes sense oh the whole bullpen had no idea like it's completely oblivious but you know in our defense i got to say this though from from from that bullpen like our perspective at the field all we can see is like batting averages on the count and outs and stuff like that so we couldn't see the scoreboard with the like the the line or whatever at the bottom after my inning ended i came in slapped hands like normal went inside to go do my arm care stuff get ready to go tomorrow i'm sitting there talking with a couple of trainers that were in there and they had to stab at the bottom of the tv saying something about like there's been six no hitters already this year and the most ever in a season was eight i started talking to them about it and then i turned around and they both went from like looking at me to like looking opposite directions just like putting their head down and it kind of was like wait a second why would they be showing that stat at this point in the game oh i might have just ruined it for us and then i knew chaffin came in and i knew he had no idea either and after his inning i was like i wanted to go in and get him and bring him out to the dugout and and say something but i was like i can't do it i can't do it i can't jinx it when willie gave a big fist pump i knew something was up and uh then tap ran out there and whispered in my ear he's like you have no idea what happened and then javi put me in a headlock and i knew pretty fast what had just happened i had no clue when i came to the game that we had no hitter
