this woman who recently competed in the Olympics in Paris was just murdered this is 27-year-old Rebecca Chap and she was a marathon runner in Uganda not long after returning from Paris on August 31st she was set on fire by her boyfriend they identified this man as Dixon EMA and apparently they were arguing over a piece of land the attack happened outside of Rebecca's house and it was said that her daughter tried to help her and save her but this man had kicked her and also tried to beat her as well it was said that Rebecca was found by neighbors who heard the arguing and they were the ones who put out the fire these Burns were so severe it covered 80% of her body and that's why she did not survive but her boyfriend was also burned but it only covered about 30% of his body and he is now in stable condition this is so sad and a violence towards women in Uganda is very common there's actually been a few athletes who have been murdered by their Partners in the last few years
