it is a Hulu show about the secret not so Secret Lives of Mormon wives and uh they dropped all episodes at once which means it's kind of rough for us to talk about because we're watching it not all episodes at once so we haven't I don't know how that How It Ends so I don't we don't have fully formed opinions on the entire thing like a lot of you will which puts us at a weird disadvantage also as weeks go on you know listenership drops because you guys are excited for it for one weekend when you binge it and then after that it's like who cares you know so we don't know that we're gonna do this whole thing but we definitely wanted to recap the first episode because wow what a show what a show Ben what think you listen it doesn't matter what I think what matters is what mom talk thinks and honestly this episode that Ronnie and I are recording right now is to prove that we can change people's perceptions of what two gay men can be and we're going to do it through mom talk so are you all with me put your hand in the middle 3 two 1 mom talk mom talk mom talk oh my God this I'm fighting the patriarchy with um stationary dances um on Tik Tok with my friends also I'm gonna fight the patriarchy by letting all of my friends blow my husband and then I'm going to blow their husbands too I'm going to fight the patriarchy by letting the men [ __ ] whoever they want sound fun this show is great it's hilarious I was cracking up through I watched the first two episodes I was cracking up through all of it it's so amazing um how like it's it's wild it's a really wild show uh it's hilarious how they really feel like what they're doing on mom talk is so important and then um uh also funny how they're all like 12 years old and they all have kids and they also talk about how they want to change our ideas of like what being a modern woman is in the Mormon church and yet for all their interviews they're dressed like they're Pioneers so I'm like it's great it's a great show and they all look the same for the most part there's so much to unpack here as they would say on the o Braves let's start the unpacking shall we so we see um someone in in a pink dress sitting for an interview turns out to be Taylor Frankie Paul I'm waiting to see or just one person by the way Taylor Frankie Paul is just one person it's not three people yeah it's not like three little boys in a house who are being called for dinner Taylor Frankie Paul Taylor Frankie Paul Taylor Frankie Paul God damn it um it is um a girl in our preview we disc uh we discussed that she kind of dances teeth forward she's very teeth forward she is very young and has already gotten reality star Chompers she's got like she's got season two Chompers and that's how we know that this cast is dedicated they showed up for reality TV with season two everything season two face it she even has her season two boobs she just got new boobs put in she said herself she got season two teeth uh Whitney is her [ __ ] flower has already bloomed that usually doesn't happen until season two I mean this cast is really they've come prepared well they've in some ways they've had their season one it just didn't happen on Hulu it just it happened on Tik Tok um Whitney already in her season one she already uh finished the season by moving to Hawaii and um then she starts season two of her life by moving right back because there's a TV show that's going to be filmed so whatever plans they had to move to paradise and avoid troubles at home uh they're like but there's cameras from Hulu there so we're going back to Utah so they kind of are already in like they've already have a season of their lives under their belts yes um but we're older so we don't know any of that follow it I never heard a mom talk I don't know what the [ __ ] they're talking about and everybody they show us these headlines all over the screen they're oh swingers soft swingers which I love that [ __ ] Utah even has soft swinging like were soft drinks not enough you had to like make swinging more boring too you know what I mean so yeah we see all these news things and then the producer is like so Taylor tell us how a couple of Mormon moms getting together make Tik toks suddenly turns into this crazy swinging sex scandal and then um Taylor's like really uncomfortable and um we start to hear um that Sam Smith song which was in my head for the entire rest of the day up until this very moment as well yeah they're like sin it's Sam Smith which you know I don't know if I think was it on the Grammys or something did a performance of this and it was like Sam Smith In A bodysuit with fire everywhere and horns was like Satan you know they're like satanic like yes we're gonna really get him we're not only doing soft swinging we're doing like soft heavy metal Sam Smith's new album so so Taylor's like it started so innocent you know me and all these moms we we were just like filling the same thing oh and also we get the on this yes going to what going to jail that's when you get arrested you go to gel go to gel so yeah they it's like the this is like Whitney Rose like un crack with the fillings and hillings so um basically this Whitney is like I grew up in a glass box thinking that everybody looks this way and we see them in their like these blue coats which I don't know if that's like a Mormon thing or that's just an outfit they put on for the show someone on Reddit hi Reddit said they think that is a non to the handmaid's taale which I'm not sure handmaid's tail isn't really about empowerment I'm not I'm just one they're really trying to sell for empowerment and that's not really what well I guess handmaid ta ultimately is you know they are definitely fighting it so I don't know how do we look at the handmaid's tail okay discuss so then um Michaela so we're just interviewing all the different ladies you know and Whitney's like I just grew up thinking everybody in the world is Mormon and then we see a girl named michaa and she's like we have so many rules to follow no swearing no piercing or no you're allowed I guess one piercing no caffeine no alcohol no tattoos your body's a temple I was like oh God so it's like Weight Watchers basically you know Min is the tattoos part and that was Michaela spelled m i k a y l a and now we go to m spelled m a y c i we're not supposed to have sex before marriage which oops and we go back to Michaela and she's like yeah have kids by the time you're 21 or in my case 16 and we see a photo of her at 16 having like like a baby and like a baby beorn and little little teenage Michaela is like oh my god what the [ __ ] am I supposed to do the rest of my life yeah she's so pretty to be having a bab I mean it's just you feel for her I'm like you just come on do something else no baby no baby B other things it's too young no offense M cuz my MIM had my mom at 16 it's rough it's a rough road so um although it doesn't seem like it here she's like it was great so then Taylor's like yeah the mom's like love the foundation of our church like love family service and they're like yeah we have we're supposed to be like examples of Higher Living but for a lot of us following the rules of the Mormon religion it's just it's impossible and Taylor says we were raised to be these Housewives for the men serving their every desire well I'm like [ __ ] this so I created mom talk the ultimate expression of rebellion yeah and then it's just girls dressed in Lululemon doing dances you know we see a lot of them she fighting the man one Lulu outfit at a time she's like yeah started as a group of Mormons like making Tik toks and there was just something so fing about it it was like a dancing which is Fring but you couldn't like dance freely because like that takes too much space you just have to dance like in this much space mostly with your arms say vertical yeah it was very freeing dancing in such a confined ratio um so then we meet Jesse who says when it comes to the Mormon scale there's definitely a wide range like some are more Mormon than others but in mom talk I don't feel like we should be judging people whether they go to church every Sunday or not wearing their special underwear reading their special books wow you're really turning everything upside down and Jen's like yeah we're a new generation of Mormon women we have a platform that the generation before us didn't have and then we see a Tik Tok of her dancing with her husband presumably and they're like yeah we're powerful women we're changing stigma of gender roles in the Mormon culture we're gonna let our husbands have sex with more women I was like wait a minute guys you're going backwards in the Mormon culture I know you're doing it like on Tik Tok now but Mormon is the is the religion of polygamy you guys are like we're going to really change things we're rolling it back to polygamy time but now you don't have to marry him you know what in the olden days if you made a Tik Tok you had to be dressed like Sarah Plain and Tall but now we're wearing at leisure that's right we're changing it all up God then we didn't have Tik Tok back then shoot we didn't even hear Tik toks they weren't allowed watches very puritanical back in the day back in 1862 what they would do is they' take some logs and they would just put them up in a frame so that way it was like a 9 by6 window surrounded by logs and you go in between them you just dance but now we show we can do it on a phone yeah and so they're talking about like becoming famous overnight basically and uh gaining zillions of followers Macy is like um I think I have like um 1.5 million followers or something like that that's how I could afford these contacts she's wearing like these piercing blue contacts yes these little tiny dots for pupil what she can kind of peek out of and it just makes her look terrifying not that the blue eyes look so crazy on her but I guess it's that your pupil never moves so it's like no matter how bright or how dark it is your pupils are just always the same you know and it it it ends up being terrifying because she's kind of they're kind of presenting Macy as kind of one of the dorkier ones or like I think I think that's what they're going for that's what I'm getting is that she's kind of one of the dorier ones she talks to her teeth a lot and she's like more Innocent but think she's going to turn out to be kind of evil as it goes on I feel like Macy is going to be the one who's friends with everyone she's like the goet between the two groups that kind of start to split like start to happen by the end of episode two um by the way I I Cann but wonder do we think that like Lisa Barlo is at home right now doing mom talks of herself she's like yeah I'm like a cool mom talk as well hey doing a little dance for this is for you jack yeah well this is the time that yeah everybody was doing those on the Instagram all the because it was during the pandemic you know so everybody started doing these online you I wonder what Shakira's doing well she's doing a Tik Tok she doing a Tik Tock dance she's hey mom talk so anyway Michaela says well yeah I probably have like two million followers I love that I love M yeah I probably have like two million followers and then I just turned into um this whole group is Swinging with each other yeah just no natural progression like we went viral we all started [ __ ] each other's wait wait a minute wait a minute rewind um I'm trying to I have the video up in front of me so I can can I so I can see everybody CU there are like so many white people it's like when you are standing in the grocery aisle trying to pick a flower and you're like these are all the same but you know they're not and like some of them have like slightly different graininess like how many times have I Googled Bob's Redmill in my life that's what I felt like watching this show yeah like the line between Demi and Jen is very difficult like which one is which yeah so then um she Taylor is explaining it she's like well we started having parties like really wild things ended up on Reddit because like one of the moms from from Mom talk like oh my God my blood was boiling when I saw it was on Reddit like I mean so finally I just had to get on Tik Tok live and like there were like 50 or 60,000 people there and I exposed it okay and then we see clips of her it's like okay so we would like have parties or like 50 you know wait I'm sorry we' have like parties where there was was like a group of us and then we would like get intimate with each other and like it happened several times and we've all made out with the husbands and no one was innocent everyone's hooked up with like everyone well you know what that is not fair and I can see why the girls are all mad at her and she's telling us it was more like orgies you know and uh it just kind of blew up yeah it kind of blew up but I don't think that's fair where you go have orgies and then you go out everybody at the orgy like it's supposed to secret yeah I don't think it's up to you to do that and yeah I totally would understand if I was like in that orgy and I'm like uh don't want like I don't think our brand needs to know about our orgy tayor so then everyone's phone start ringing and it's like all of a sudden my phone started like blowing up and I'm like what's happening and then Whitney's like Utah is like a small town and we couldn't go anywhere rumors being made about my family and Taylor's like it was painful it was awful and then Demi goes and at this point I'm like can mom talk even survive this so they're like if you think that was crazy wait till you see what happens now and then we see Montage of what's coming this season when is the girls with a mail strip club and then someone's making out in a hot tub and people are crying then it cuts back to Taylor and she goes holy [ __ ] and then we get the opening credits which I get it I curse enjoy the show I just curse you guys you just tuned in and saw morvin say the f word yeah we're changing everything I don't know can mom talk even survive the f word it's an existential question for our times [ __ ] the patriarchy yeah I said [ __ ] so then we go to um I did notice by the way that several of them would say fa like they wouldn't actually say [ __ ] they would be like I'm like what the fall so we see the opening and um here are their names Whitney Michaela Jen Jesse Leila Demi Macy and Taylor Yes sounds Jessie uh Jen I remember because that's Jen Affleck and then there's Demi I remember I think Jesse Jesse is the one with the jiz Billboards I think right I think she is um I think so yeah because it would be either her Jen or is Jen the one I don't know I think Jen is the one who dresses like a little oldfashioned doll but it's 22 years old so the first scene we get is a coffee meeting it's the housewives we've just fought for a season let's regroup and see who's still friends so we have uh Taylor Frankie Paul meeting up with who's this Macy okay so they meet up and we see a little bit about Macy and um her husband looks like a doll a living doll I don't even know if he's living actually actually because I just see his picture here he's not moving and he is like he looks like a tooth commercial and an eyebrow commercial he looks like a commercial for General whiteness like if you were trying to sell whiteness to somebody you'd be like hey do you need someone to offer you like free checks from a bank it's this guy yeah um so basically so Taylor sits down with Macy and Taylor's like talking about she's also talking introducing herself to us she goes I'm Taylor Frankie Paul I'm 28 am from Salt Lake City Utah I was like a really wild child like I did it all you know partying drinking saying the FW nothing was off limits one time I played an R-rated video game while drinking a Coke so watch the F out okay bro so she's like right after high school I got married in the temple and I was like being pressured to by the church and my mom you know cuz she knew that Tate and I were having sex before marriage so you know I just like had a hard time like finding my voice yeah and um then we see a photo of Taylor and Tate and he's in a beanie and then she goes mom talk it started with four girls Whitney Macy Michaela and I and then we see like some mom talk stuff and she's like ever since the swinging Scandal though I've been like really trying to keep it a low profile and I haven't seen the girls in months so I'm like really excited so it's the classic like oh no the prodal daughter has returned know she's been Outcast but can she come back to mom talk will they welcome her back well mom talk survive so Macy is talking about being from Orange County and like yeah I tell everyone I'm from California so they know I'm cool okay here's kind of how I know who this whole cast is right off the bat because I love to read signs as they come up on TV and this is one for the coffee shop that they're at it says maybe coffee is is addicted to me oh and I feel like that describes this show it's like you can have caffeine it's not your fault it's the coffee's fault so yeah uh Macy I was gonna call her Casey gonna get in trouble she's like yeah um basically I've been married to my husband for five years and we have two kids and I'm a bad [ __ ] that's who I am sounds like it wow like wow you're a a bad [ __ ] so she's like it's just it's so great to see Taylor I haven't seen her in so long because I've been busy doing bad [ __ ] things you know and since all the drama came out like being a swinger and exposing everything I'm just like excited to get together and start mom talk back up like the bad [ __ ] I am so they're like oh my God they hug and they sit down and Macy's like oh my God I need to hear about you and Dakota that's the tea I really want what's the tea girl what's the tea and Taylor's like no you need to go first because I'm literally not gonna stop talking once I start so how are you in that white guy you married and she's like Jacob your window she goes Jacob oh my God like I feel like Jacob like never initiates like sex do you talk to him about it or do you just bore me with it no it's like really like it's like in depth and like maybe I feel like I should but like what do I do like do I just like put on lingerie and like walk around the house like I'm like a bad [ __ ] bad [ __ ] shouldn't have to do that yeah I'm like a bad [ __ ] and he's just a [ __ ] like I don't even understand like who doesn't want this like what am I supposed to do walk around in laundry I just don't get it okay check out a site called seancody.com and realize that your needs to understand how you feel like he can't read our minds and he shouldn't have to because he's a man we should read their minds okay um so why don't you ask me about me you know it's a huge turn charming and he's very attractive and then we see photos of him and he's you know literally every other guy on the show very generic yeah um and his eyes are like bugging out so Taylor's like he asked me to be his girlfriend and then we got into like a big fight the next night wait so when you fought like what was he getting mad at you about oh um well because I drank and then like I I drank some more and then some more after that did you get drunk she's like yeah it was my fault like I 100% admit that okay so this is this is a girl she's a train wreck and she [ __ ] up on purpose so that she can go oh my God totally admitted it's my fault she's like a Jax in the way that she loves to confess so she does a lot of bad things so that she can confess yes and and and we know she's a train wreck because of her hair in the interviews this is before uh episode two when she's pregnant and her hair is just more like conservative but here the hair is just like it's up and going in all these different directions and I've been like trying to place like what it is is it like rayan for my so-called life I don't think it is that it's just like it's going in all these different ways it's like combed over and it's like it's like it's almost like if someone took the cake Goslin and let it grow free it's like this is what it would ultimately turn into so she's like yeah like he's like I think I'm just scared to like you you know cuz like a lot goes with me you know like there's me and then there's my kids and then there's my situation and then there's my situation that just came out right which I was totally responsible for and totally reain that down on everybody myself whoa totally take responsibility for that sorry but also this guy I can already tell is a complete douchebag and probably a user and abuser because he contacted you on Instagram because you're [ __ ] famous you've got two million followers he's contacting you to hook up with you and then guilting you for the life you lead when he's seen your life very plainly that's how he hooked up with you in the first place do not trust this man no don't and she's like there's like a there's like a side of me that's like should I be single for me to like go out in my 20s like having fun like I just I just got out of this relationship like I got to get all that out of my system like that I've been wanting and Mac's like yeah I think think the question is from like one bad [ __ ] to a lesser bad [ __ ] but a [ __ ] nonetheless like do you want to do this she goes well we have a lot of trust issues I won't lie yeah yeah I was goingon to say does he have like a lot of trust issues because of like your past you know you being like a all UT you know what I'm saying and she's like yeah like he has trust issues but like I have trust issues too like with him and um we just ignore that and she goes and then like we which I want to know that like what are the trust issues with him what did he do but the friends just like yeah you're a [ __ ] right so she's like yeah and we have trust issues because like we started off on a rocky St because like okay look we posted this Tik Tok together and then things came out on Reddit that we see their stupid Tik Tok and all these girls come on a Reddit and they're like oh my God he was just banging my roommate so yeah yeah a lot of girls are saying like oh he was with my roommate last week or this or that it's like G like now I'm like I don't know if I can even trust you you know I'm like yes that's when you can say I can't trust you it's time to move on like he's literally already cheating on you and then getting on there to get some [ __ ] Tik Tok follows this guy's a douche so then U Macy of course never want to ask an important question the girl just told you she met a guy on Instagram and then a reddit reddit thread started breaking out talking about how he's [ __ ] everybody in town and Macy goes oh see you like drama in your relationship huh you like no I don't you like it you do you like like that he's jealous though like because when someone's jealous it means that they care yeah you you like it because he cares and she's like yeah I guess I do but like also I get scared because like I'm three months out of my situation and I'm a month out of my divorce which I also kind of cost so like do I need to chill because like he even asked me yesterday he's like are you open to getting because she did call doesn't she tell us at one point that she because when I said I caused that as well I was like did she cause her divorce did she say that she cheated on the husband or was she just like [ __ ] this and she left I honestly don't remember because there was like so much that was dropped on us right out the I'll take that back for now because I don't know but I just like the idea of this girl like lighting fires all over town and then being like Oh my god there was a fire which I totally caused that totally take responsibility so it's been like really hard for me to get over the trauma of everything that I just did but Taylor so like what did you say um I was like yes I was like of course I want to get married like I want to have more babies that's like I will do that like that's my plan and he's like um good to know yeah well you better like make sure that he's the right one because you're like Tik Tock famous you're like beautiful you've got teeth like brand new tombstones I mean you've got everything yeah and also like you can get anyone you want cuz again you're a ttf Tik Tok famous okay so I'm like don't settle okay I haven't okay so I haven't met Dakota yet personally and like I need to meet this guy because like I need to see how his personality is I mean like spoiler alert he seems kind of bland I'm just gonna say that bad [ __ ] sorry but like I want to see like I want to see like you like what you see in him you know because none of us can understand it especially not Reddit I'm sorry am I being too honest right now I just feel like we're just kind of similar and she's like yeah I feel like we're similar um no yeah we're like totally the same yeah I don't think so we're like literally like we look the same we don't I'm hotter yeah we're like the same I'm a better dancer like we dance the same I'm I'm better this is getting a little tense I feel like you're about to say some honest truths about me so let's talk about someone else yeah let's talk about Whitney okay I heard Whitney she's moving back she's like coming back tomorrow did you know that Taylor and Taylor's like why would Whitney come back uh because you're on a TV show what the hell do you think Whitney's coming back Whitney's like should I stay in Witness prote program in this glorious vacation town I moved to or no do I stay in literal Paradise of Hawaii or I go back to cold cold Salt Lake City so I could be on TV TV it is yeah so Macy's like Whitney is part of the OG mom talk and then we see a montage of Whitney and she actually says yeah Whitney likes to be like leader of the clan type leader of the clan oh awkward honestly what awkward phrasing to choose the show so Macy goes I honestly thought that when she left a Hawaii I was like I feel like she's going to get fomo and want to come back I mean Hello do they have a cuchina Tuscana in Hawai I don't think so and Taylor's like wait a minute so are they moving back or are they just visiting she goes yeah they're moving back they bought a house sight unseen I was like what is this teenage marriage I honest honestly I don't even know the real reason why they went there to begin with maybe she'll tell us and Taylor's like yeah so I will be seeing her then yeah and by the way she brought up the video again and then we see like the the the famous Tik Tok live the Taylor did that started all this drama yeah and she's like um Tik Tock live swinging confession video Tate and I are getting divorced and I don't know what you would call it it's like soft swinging but you don't like fully switch cuz we had an agreement like all of us and like I stepped out of that agreement like you're not supposed to actually stick it in the bum or the front front or the back but you know you're gonna have to come back another day to find out where it got stuck do we ever find out no she's like what I'm trying to say is we all made an agreement to go to Carell but I went to Ben and& Jerry's instead okay everyone was going soft I went hard ice cream so Taylor is like you know I at least want to explain that to people like my husband wanted to share and he did want to open that up so it was like I caught feelings for a man that my husband welcomed into our house oh so she does kind of talk about it so um she's like well he started it so then she started having feel but do we know who she started maybe I should just keep going through I don't think so not yet so Taylor uh in her video is like yeah no one was innocent everyone's hooked up with everyone in this group no that's not fair you went to these this order then you took it too far past the rules of the open relationship and now you're going to out everybody else that's not fair ma'am nope yeah no boo I'm not inviting you to my next orgy well Macy is like well you know what Whitney crap and orgy coming next year oh my God could you imagine I'm way too lazy for that we would just have I think we would have the best orgy it just we probably wouldn't be having sex we' just be all hanging out watching TV together yeah um yeah I think someone even says later in the show that're ew swinging I barely have enough energy for my husband as it is that's gross I wouldn't do that um so then Macy's like yeah Whitney was like I'm freaking pissed and I was like because like she just kept getting tagged in your video and I think that's why she was upet by the way Macy just has a smile this really tight smile where she's like she and her tiny little pupils that never move and she's just like M Whitney hates you and the reason is because she was getting tagged in videos mhm so you're a mess in your relationship right you just like the attention I think so I think you just like attention right you know what Taylor used to be the face of mom talk but once the whole controversy blew up no one really knew what mom talk even stood for anymore I mean no one really knew what it stood for in the first place but now no one knew what it really stood for about anything so it's just like a bunch of it's like are is it just like a bunch of swingers or are we just like a bunch of Mormon women fighting the patriarchy was it ever was it ever that clear was it is there maybe a middle ground that we could explore because I'm not sure if it was either one of it was probably actually the first thing just a bunch of swingers yeah so now we see all the moms in someone's house making content all right they're creating content guys they're making a Tik Tock so Macy's like yeah mom talk is essentially a content creator house except for we don't actually live together it's not like a Snapchat house it's like a Tik Tok house but like not a Tik Tok house because we don't all live in the same house yeah yeah so these are like the um this is this is like the Hoy pooy of mom talk so you know you've got Whitney and you've got Taylor as the two people buying for mom talk and now these are all the these are the plees that um that get have been recruited onto the platform so she's like yeah you could say that like a lot of us on mom talk look similar but it's mostly because our forefathers have determined to keep our jeans clean so that's been pretty fun we all have a similar style or similar look but we're just going off based off of what's trending in our group so so for instance if Jesse wears a white shirt I'll wear a white shirt it's just what's trending guys so we see them and she goes she also goes yeah especially in Utah cuzz like what can I say there's a lot of white [ __ ] here so then we cut to all the white [ __ ] doing a dance and stuff and it's they have some twerking in here and I just I guess you know what know your audience you know because there are like millions of people obviously who are like oh my God I'm totally signed up to these white girls twerking and they're doing great but you know for some of us who don't understand what's happening on our television screens it's like do we need more white girls twerking I feel like there's always that one Stew on below deck there's that one white girl who's like I Twerk and it's like having 20 of those on One show and we see them all trying to twerk and um poor Michaela she's all the way in the back when we did our trailer breakdown we saw the scene and Michaela like everyone's moving to the right she moves to the left she is chronically outbeat she cannot keep up and you just see her just trying to like be like wait what's twerking I just got the electric slide down last week I can't move on to another Dam step they're like please try michaa she's like sorry so then Macy's like yeah when we appear in each other's videos we get more likes and then we get more followers and we all benefit because we make more money and uh which is why the most powerful one the one with the most followers is the most yesterday but one of the funniest things I've seen about this show is Whitney posting that song she's doing like a a fun Tick Tock dancing rant and you just see a baby in a little tiny plastic box a was at I was at like a family thing I was at like I was with all my cousins and I opened up Tik Tok to show them something but my Tik Tok was on silent and so I opened it up and the very first thing was Ronnie in like a filter that gave him like a little wig and Ronnie just moving his hands around like this and I was like oh my God so I took a screenshot and I was like Ronnie what is happening I mean I figured out that it was I mean it was jokey I knew you were doing something like that but it was so funny you on there go doing a wiy dance it's so stupid because it's so disturbing that that's how it is it's like my baby is dying in the hospital my baby's dying yeah oh my goodness oh yeah they're all wondering whether or not was Whitney coming back and then cut two at long last Whitney in a car she's with Connor they have all their belongings in a car I'm like I don't understand why they have their all their belongings in their car because they were in Hawaii so why isn't everything just shipped to them like did they just like ship their belongings to like California and then drive from California it's very confusing I'm not really sure how any of this worked but I'm like you know you it's like a totally different person in a way from this person that we're seeing in this episode because some time passes and stuff but she totally changes and Whitney just becomes more and more horrible so I think it's interesting because she's like we're already seeing evolving from Frankie Taylor whatever her buns is but then Whitney just seems to be getting more and more terrible as we go but like in reality I don't know I think I kind of side with Whitney a little bit well yeah I mean Taylor definitely I definitely side with Whitney over the being mad that she blew up their spot you turns out they weren't even our boxes so we're kind of in trouble for that but the good news is we found two children behind the boxes so we're just going to keep them make them ours and I feel like I'm on like this crazy high you know the high that comes from leaving a gorgeous gorgeous island paradise and moving into a generic home that kind of high I'm just on it right now but I miss Hawai already and T's like yeah I didn't even know you're moving back so like she's yeah I'm back but like moving back or just like visiting back no I'm back back she's like oh yeah but I didn't know that she's well surprise she yeah what part of TV cameras says I'm not moving back okay I'm back but like actually I didn't really like know the reason like why Whitney like left and like she didn't tell me and nobody told me and like honestly I thought we were closer than that I love that you're the victim you just [ __ ] [ __ ] up everybody's lives and you're like I can't believe nobody talked to me like I'm confused how about I thank you thank you Taylor thank you for elevating my brain she sucks she's such an [ __ ] that is so funny they're making jokes about what's going on in their lives because it's a big embarrassing thing that happened of course they're going to joke about it you know yeah she's like why why aren't you thanking me now on the other hand of course this did Skyrocket all of them to way bigger levels probably so yeah I guess ultimately they do owe her a thanks but you know I feel like she does need to at least go through the process of being like sorry guys that wasn't cool and you're welcome you know what there would be no Mom talk if I hadn't created it and I feel like that I should be given a little bit of Grace in this situation I was being torn to shreds for like ruining people's lives and then using it then they're using it for clout like um did I ruin your life or did I help your life oh my God so Whitney's like yeah but like there's like a line didn't even know if it was true until I confronted Connor and I went up to him and I was like look at this joke right and there was more to that guys he had been struggling with a porn addiction and I I just I didn't want to say anything so I didn't want to come out because I just feel like there's a whole story you know and there's a reason why people do certain things and I I think I think he was just confused guys he was confused he's really attracted to me he loves me but I I literally said like this has not happened to me this isn't something that happens to me and I literally haven't told anyone it's just like something that we're working through he like looked at porn guys I'm just like I can't I can't and they're like oh my God can I ask you something did it go further than Tinder Tinder jerking off like and she's like you know I just I that's why I left Mom talk you know cuz I felt like I couldn't go anywhere but honestly we left because I just wanted to get away I was like a Southwest Commercial want to get away and I wanted to get away from everything because I just wanted to just think for myself and everything I'm so sorry that I left Mom talk behind guys can you ever forgive me and she's basically like yeah I'm sorry for blaming the drama Taylor's drama on me leaving and Taylor's like it's okay like she's the one who gets to forgive which is hilarious and Whitney's like yeah cuz that wasn't even the reason so then Taylor's like um well I have news so everyone's like you have news um okay what's the news she goes well like I'm super overwhelmed with anything with everything and like like yeah like I've been pregnant for like four weeks and Whitney's just like you [ __ ] Whitney just gets this look on her face like are you [ __ ] kidding me you're upstaging my husband cheating with your pregnancy she just like you [ __ ] I'll never forgive you meanwhile Taylor is sitting there on this white couch she has her legs crossed and she's placed her like big gulp her brown big gulp of what I assumed was coffee but as many people pointed out probably was not coffee but it was a brown beverage and she's just cradling it in between her leg creases and on this white sofa and I was like this is why she will always be the villain to me it doesn't matter what sort of Redemptive Arc she gets she is one chill one spasma away from spilling that entire Brown beverage on this pristine white sofa I'll never forgive her um so she's like yeah well by by the way back to my story um I think I miscarried but I'm going to the hospital every day because like they have to draw blood cuz like maybe I miscarried cuz I had a ton of blood like I don't know but like I was calling my doctor and they're like maybe you miscarried and then like I have an ectopic pregnancy either way so like either way the baby's not going to no one really knows I'm like have you been to the doctor what what is going on here what is this what happened like the doctor would tell you I don't think I don't know I what do I know I'm not going to be pregnant so you know what this is one of those moments I'm gonna step back and just say you don't understand she's oddly matter of fact about it and Casual she's acting like she was going to buy a shirt at the Gap and then she decided not to and then she changed her mind and went back to the Gap to buy it and was already gone and she was like yeah so that's where we're at she yeah it's been kind of like depressing and so when he's like what the actual [ __ ] tailor what the hell are you doing immediately right after sharing this trauma that's happening to me you immedately talk about something that's traumatic going on with your [Laughter] life and uh uh they're like okay well are you g to be more careful moving forward she goes yeah I'm just like you know I'm very like just like everywhere every day you know what I mean like not really what did that mean it just mean like like am I going to be careful like I mean am I here maybe like am I there probably like where am I I don't know like all the places that's what I'm saying you guys do you get it they're like yeah Taylor totally got it like guys I love us thank God for mom talk so now Taylor and Dakota go on a date at a sushi restaurant called tsunami which of course they go to a place called tsunami and Taylor tells us Dakota and I didn't expect to get pregnant let alone have a miscarriage at this time I feel like we're just wanting to move on and order a California role and we're just going to work on a relationship both of our P we have very messy pasts and we just want to be a better person he wants me to be a better person and that's why I really like him because he wants to do more wholesome things together like make sure that I change for him that's just like wonderful so he's like oh my God isn't it crazy that we're together he has these really big wide eyes he's such a [ __ ] liar this guy's a compulsive liar like he's giving every sign he has big huge wide eye he's really cute by the way but he's got big huge wide eyes he's got the baby voice where he's like talking like I'm just a little kid who doesn't understand things which we've learned on Bravo was just like a Telltale sign of a [ __ ] boy and a liar and then he's like isn't it crazy how we met she was yeah you you got into my DMs and he goes and do you remember what you said to me in your reply honey she goes yeah that you look like Jake gyllen haha this guy cannot sit still for one second his eyes are bulging he's like fidgeting around I'm surprised like be honest we can tell yeah and so she's like well like do you want to marry me and he's like yeah I want to marry you I'm freaking obsessed with you that's why I went to your [ __ ] Instagram like so like with church like do you want to be like married in the temple still or is that like something you want he's such a fan it's so weird yeah weird my my answer would be I don't want it cuz I don't follow the rules and that's like a given and he goes yeah like when I came back to the church I was like it like it was like a very high power God moment for me that they were like saving my life like even being in recovery right like just turn like I turn everything to God like obviously with my past I can't be with you if you want to like party and unfortunately for me it's like a life for death decision and she's like I mean don't get me wrong like I've thought about it but like I mean like I'm just like going to be honest like it's like sad for me being like I can't drink like ever again like that sucks for me you know so like it's something I enjoy in moderation like a drink out with my friends you know and he's like yeah get where you're coming from with that but I know what I want in my future and it's not that okay you crazy kids yeah it's not that at all you can't do this can't can't this this is not how relationships work if you're going to be sober and you don't want a partner that you as good for you actually that's a valid Choice don't be with a partner that uses and then make them stop like that's not how that works and you don't be with someone who doesn't want you to use and then be like well I should be able to no you're with a person who's barely hanging on to sobriety not right for each other but also yeah he's he's using it as like a control issue so Taylor says you know in this mom talk group we like to party and oh my gosh I don't know how I keep finding these men that don't like drinking because it's like I like drinking I'm like um here's a clue you're in Utah in Utah you're like oh my God why do I keep [ __ ] guys with Mickey Mouse ears you're [ __ ] people in a Disneyland what do you think is going to happen I feel like this might be an issue actually to be honest but like I won't lie like I'm drinking tonight and I'm GNA get like [ __ ] up so then we see like little videos of people at home doing things like Jesse putting a baby to bed Whitney and Connor are putting their kids to bed it's like Yay everything in mom talk is so Mom talk is so fun and happy the group's getting back together what could go wrong what's the city and address of your emergency there's like a domestic violence going on and it's like d it gets really serious really fast and we start getting cop footage body cam footage and so a neighbor is calling about domestic violence and they say somebody's screaming get off of me there's a woman screaming there's like a garage door opening and shutting and it sounds like she's trying to get out and I don't know if the kids are there right now because I think she shares with her ex-husband so then we see body cam footage we hear T screaming the neighbor know the neighbor has been waiting for this moment because that neighbor obviously knows everything that's going on with this relationship like I think that she shares time with her ex-husband like how do you know that neighbor you have been you got in the dirt about this and you've been waiting to call the cops yeah and so um we hear Taylor screaming shut up and then Dakota's like stop it what are you doing please stop and then the cop shows up and uh K's like she's hammered she's so drunk and she's like he's hammered he's like no I'm sober so they basically separate him we don't see him we see her the cop interviews her outside and she tells the cop that he threw her in the garage and apparently what happened um and this is I don't think we hear it here I think I read it on a thread on Reddit I'm just like this cast like I thought I heard on Reddit but um that I think she was on Nick V's podcast saying that he she was really drunk they got in a fight in the car she started throwing stuff at him and so he was trying to get her off of him I guess by putting her in the garage but then she was trying to get out of the garage and he kept closing the door so she couldn't get out I mean the whole thing sounds like a total cluster [ __ ] but it was odd to me that they just believed him immediately because her story sounds pretty scary you know that he's pretending to be sober but that he's hammered and he's being abusive and then accusing her of being abusive but then I guess he was videotaping her and that was his evidence to get her taken away and thrown in jail yeah some of this V video footage is redacted we see so we don't we don't get the full thing so we don't know what happened in the redacted Parts there but we do hear that she threw like metal chairs at him and stuff and almost hit their kid I think like one of their kids yes exactly and so as a result she gets uh placed under arrest for domestic violence and gets carded off and that is the uh very um wild climax this first episode that actually it appears I've only watched through episode two but it appears like that is actually the that is the foundation from which the rest of the series actually grows from like here you think the show is going to be about Whitney coming back and them figuring this out fall out but this is we are now in the next episode going to Flash Forward about like 11 or 11 months or so from this situation and then it's like how does how does mom talk survive this guys yeah crazy um wow what an interesting show and I didn't was gonna be so interesting but I'm into it and they really do put their lives out there my god um it is I just love how much they just care about mom talk they're like we've created a community with this hashtag and we we need to make sure that dancing in sports bras can continue on yeah they're the guys we've all figured out what it's life is like without mom talk and we need to make this [ __ ] happen again so what are we going to do when we create and I i' like that their their uh stuff that their content that they create is all just them dancing and then putting captions of whatever is going on in their life it's just so weird I know and that's so many people it's like they've got so many followers like it's strange it really is it is nuts and they showed a part where all the controversy was blowing up and they're on all these new shows and stuff and like oh my God the sex scandal with the Mormons did you hear about any of that stuff when it happened I missed all of it but Dom heard about it when I was like I was like he was like what are you watching I was like The Secret Lives of Mormon wives it's basically like these Mormon girls and they were soft swinging I was oh yeah that was huge so like it definitely was out there it just I I think that for me sometimes we focus so much on Bravo and Bravo gossip that like I'm just not always I just like I sometimes have blinders on to like other worlds of Scandal and things happening and so I kind of miss things until they are sort of put in my face like this and I'm like oh my God I missed a whole ridiculous Scandal but apparently everyone knew about this yeah well it's a good show
