2 Different Serial Killers in One?

hello and welcome back to another episode of three siblings walk into a bar my name is sage and I am the middle sibling I'm storm and I'm the youngest sibling I'm desay and I'm the oldest sibling I got really confused CU you said you said middle sibling I'm like no oldest goes first and I'm like wait but you're not the oldest I thought you were laughing my like game show host impersonation hi welcome back this is another episode of's walking to a bar it's okay I've been watching oh no what is uh how I much your mother I've been watching that love show and one of the girls is a newscaster one of the guys thinks that Bob's Barker that Bob Barker is his dad so I've just been like the announcer voice has just been coming out a lot have you finished that all the way through before and like you're rewatching it yes the ending oh I know pisses me off to no end because that is such a good show like so good that like I there are a lot of shows that I really like but I I've never been able to like just completely watch them all the way through yeah that one I sat and watched it because it was so good and so funny and then the ending happened and I was like what the did I just watch I was so pissed yeah the same thing happened the first time I watch Dexter and I told people not to watch it because of the ending of it and now apparently they have a new season so I have to I'm like going back and watching it really yeah apparently there's a new season but someone said it's it's still not great but who knows huh speaking of How I Met Your Mother uh we were we were at the shop the other day and I was talking to a client and he was like 19 20 maybe and I said something oh I said have you met Ted and uh he had no idea what I was talking about and I was like have you ever seen How I Met Your Mother he goes oh my mom watches that show and I was like oh my God I was like no I'm not I'm not doing this I can't do it it was so bad horrible I so you're oldest nephew is that age I know that is so weird to me it's so weird I know crazy I can't do it see in my head I'm still like 24 yeah I know me too I don't feel I don't feel like I should be as old as I am I always think about that like literally the other day I was talking to somebody and he had like a suit on and he looked like he was just looked so nice and he was talking about his fancy job and blah blah blah and I'm like God that's an adult and then I went and looked up he's like two month older than I am and I'm like oh I'm an adult yes yeah yes I was watching I'm like an adult I was watching obviously How I Met Your Mother and Dexter and they're all our age so I'm watching them and they're like having full ass careers and like dating all these people as I'm sitting on my bed with my cat like eating Cheetos like this is something needs to happen here this is not okay um so look what I found earlier on Facebook I don't know if this is real and maybe y'all seen this is this real Dracula with Pio Reeves I love him oh my God I will Orga oh my God not Jenna Ortega I also love her too I do too let me Google it is it is it real I don't know I need to know because Keo re was in the first one right yeah M yeah so she's she's GNA play Mina Parker and he's Count Dracula I don't know if that was fake I hope it's not I hope it's not it's said 2024 I know it's oh my God how did they keep that a secret Dracula rise of the vampire no no I lied no F oh man wait hold on everyone calm down stop it stop screaming I'm doing something I haven't heard anything about Dracula recently me either I've been wanting to get a Dracula tattoo and I I showed one of our other artists and he was like you know you could just put that on the back of your head and I was like yeah let's maybe find somewhere else that we can put it before we think about the back of my head it's the um it's the face with like the two wolves that come off the side of it like the stone thing and the so I turned it into like a I drew it into like a tattoo and it's really [ __ ] cool but I want it really bad so I need to stop getting my own drawings and start like posting them for other people to get yes no it is not true but they are making a Dracula Love Story movie but it will not be with Conor Reeves or Jenna Orga that's some [ __ ] that's some [ __ ] it better be a good Beetle Juice yeah I know whatever Beetle Juice you ruined it for us Beetle Juice but it's fine I love Beetle Juice so I'm like yeah let's go yes I'm stoked for that one it's gonna be so good and it's so funny because they're so old I know like when Beetle when Beetle Juice comes out and I'm like you're dead you're not so close to age but you're old exactly you're an adult now you're an adult now Beetle Juice yeah you're an adult now I was talking to Dad about it and dad said that um he didn't even want to do the second Beetle Juice like apparently they had to like really talk him into it Michael Keaton why I don't know love him when I see Michael Keaton I think Batman and it's really Batman the very first Batman he is Batman the best Batman I love him do I think do I think that yeah I'm trying to think Batman who do I think of or there's like the George ni suit that him yes for sure oh God I feel like that's who I think of with Robin who does who is it with Robin um George is that yeah okay that's who I think of yeah because that as Arnold tegger yeah yeah Silverstone Arnold Egger yes that's a really good one that's the one where they put the the nipples on the suits and people freaked out I can see his snipples exactly oh my God the the suit designer said which one some with Catwoman that's the Tim Burton well that has U Michael Keat in okay yeah so that was Michelle Fifer she played Catwoman yes was it Michelle feifer it was the very first Catwoman was Michelle feifer yes yes what was the second Catwoman Barry hiie [Music] Berry I don't like that one and then an Hathaway an haway I was like no there's someone else and it's not yeah she's and I think the B affle yeah I remember Ben Affleck I don't know it was either or Edward Edward oh yeah I haven't even seen it to be honest with you oh yes Robert yeah Robert P that was the one with um that's with um Lenny krait's daughter yes yeah hold on Maddie just walked in here of course we spent 10 minutes talking about movies this is literally just like hanging out with us this is just how we talk to each other I you're welcome yeah my ADD has been so bad this past like week it's been crazy okay go lay down I'll be there in a minute imagine y'all Talk Amongst yourselves for another like half a minute I gotta go put my daughter waging bed everyone calm down of course it's always everyone calm down it's always the youngest they always have something to say always yep and M's so I feel like she know [ __ ] out of it yes exactly yeah yeah like when we were at the lake she was trying to get me to play with something and then I'd start to play with it and she'd be like no I'm playing with it and I'd be like okay and then she'd like try and get me to play with it again I was like uhuh girl no we're not playing this game she knows exactly oh yeah yeah that's kids for you but usually do we just had to put up new signs in the shop that so we can't have kids in the shop it's so surprising I would never bring mine anyways yeah and it's crazy to me how many people try and bring their kids in there like I understand there's there's different things that go on and like you can't you don't always have child care and stuff like that but at the same time like play around I hate too much oh my gosh y'all I'm just going to keep making this not start your the story today I get a notification from Grayson County saying that there was a daycare that an incident happened and I'm reading about this incident and mine's new daycare is in Grayson County yeah so I'm like holy to Lo I'm like reading this incident and I'm like what the freak daycare is this oh my God where is this at and then it finally at the very end it says the daycare name I'm like that needs to be the first freaking sentence why would that not be anyway so it was not her daycare but this mom gets a phone call from the daycare at 3:30 and is told that her son fell her son is two her son fell he had an accident but he's fine and there's nothing to worry about so she picks him up about five and the teacher's like I don't know why but he won't put any weight on his leg and blah blah blah blah and so she takes him to the ER his [ __ ] femur is broken oh my God his femur is broken and they end up having to take him to Dallas to fix it and the nurses and the doctors are like this was not an accident this was from abuse and we are calling CPS not on her but like on the daycare yeah we're calling CPS oh my God the Grayson County Sheriff's department calls her and tells them like we are we are going to charge them with a criminal act the director and his teacher they had gotten video from the daycare video camera of the director deleting video footage from the kids's accident cuz she did not delete the video footage of her deleting the video footage oh my God so then they come and interview her and come to find out the teacher grabbed the child and hit him so hard against the changing table it broke his femur oh my God and I was like oh I'm like the entire time I'm reading this I'm like H like my heart is pounding because you know it didn't say what [ __ ] daycare it was right and so I'm like my heart is p I'm like about to just leave and go pick her up like I'm like I have no clue where this is at thank God it wasn't her daycare but I'm like oh my God I was so scared I'm like holy [ __ ] and I'm like I wish I had somebody to watch my kids so I didn't have to leave them at daycares I'm like I hate this that's that's terrifying I know it's so scary and I'm like and I'm thinking because like I used to work at daycares and I'm like it is not for the faint of heart it really is not and bless all of them but I'm like I have been frustrated to a te and I can think of kids that I really did not like but I would never have touched a hair on their head no yeah oh let alone hit them hard enough that their femur broke that is the hardest bone in your body to break that means that had to have hit so hard I just I can't I was so pissed and I wanted to go find I was telling the girls at work about it because I was freaking out about it after I read it and one of the girls was like well I hope they're going to break both of their femur because that's what they deserve and I was like well I'm with you I hope they do because that's in insane it's absurd I can't I totally forgot about it blocked it out of my memory until you started talking about child care and then it made me think of it and now I'm itchy again my heart is pounding and I want to hit somebody like oh my God this is another re terrifying that's I couldn't do it I I would go find somebody I couldn't do it and well it's like all the like emotions with that because I'm like you are trusting people with like your most precious asset right and one they break your trust which is horrible two then you have to think about how horrible you feel because you left your child in that situation and three then that child's going to have a hard I'm trusting anybody because that person that was supposed to be there to take care of them just hurt them that bad yeah so then you can put a bunch of issues on that okay I'm gonna calm down that's one reason why we haven't why we haven't put Samy in in anything yet like the ideal thing is like a Mother's Day Out thing a couple days a week whatever you know for him to get some more interaction with kids but his talking like I we want him to be able to communicate with us like what happened today like you know if you needed to tell us anything yeah so we're fixing that before we even think about the other thing it's just it's not fun it's hard yeah hate it I know and I literally it's cuz one of the girls uh that I work with is pregnant and you know she's been like so destru you know she was single for a long time and she worked really hard to like get her career where it was and she bought her own house and you know she's always done all this and that and then she got married to somebody that makes a lot more money than she does and could very easily take care of her and stuff anyway so it was just this whole like I don't know if I want to stay home I don't know if I want to go back to work I just don't know like I can it wouldn't be a problem if I stayed home and she's like but then I wouldn't be contributing and blah blah blah blah and I looked at her and I was like if there was one thing that I wish more than anything else was that I could stay at home with my kids and I'm like you have no idea how hard it is to have to go to work all day and then come home be exhausted from working and then be upset because you only have like maybe two to three hours with your kid before you got to put him to bed and then you got to wake up in the morning and do it all over again and I'm like yeah even if you only worked a couple days a week or something like stay home with your kid if you can it will regret it will not regret it at all just do it it'll drive you insane sometimes soda's going to work and then coming home to anyway so it's not like you're you know yeah it's a big blessing for sure to be able to do that anyway now that bummed us out do you want to bum us out some more with the horrible story is not okay so oh God do do we need to watch some Coco melon before we start or I yes someone say oh I did hear a funny joke do you want to hear it before we start absolutely only if it's I heard it on Tik Tok it's not I mean I guess it could be why why was the Avon lady walking funny because of her [Laughter] lipstick God oh oh every time I think of Avon I think of siss hands oh yeah every single time I hate it that was a dad joke it was a it was a good it was it was inappropriate dad joke yeah yeah very much so I remember when I heard it I had the first I had the same reaction of you because I was like that's not F oh now yeah it's funny took me a second but I got it oh that's awesome all right okay so I picked the story because um first of all it's a queer serial killer um second of all the it's just it's very interesting because there's he is possibly two different serial killers in the same area this one man oh okay okay so um this man's name is Herb bow Meister I have to like annunciate say his name bow or B bow b a u m okay bow Meister okay um he was born in IND Indianapolis Indiana Indianapolis Indiana Indianapolis yeah whatever that's what I said that's where he's from yeah exactly um he was born on April 7th of 1947 he was the oldest of four children which was uh who were born to um an anesthesiologist Dr Herbert Eugene balme and Elizabeth balme Schmidt so uh okay they were German obviously um but his his dad being an anesthesiologist comes in later so just remember that his dad was a doctor so um in his childhood he had a a pretty normal childhood um and until around like 9 or 10 he started exhibiting anti antisocial behavior um so he was just doing some really wild stuff and wasn't really like clicking with any of the kids uh some of the friends of him recall that he had Europia you guys want to guess what that is Europia is it Euro Euro like Europe or Euro like urethra so that's what I was saying I was like does this have something to do with like I don't want to know it's exactly what you think okay so some of his friends uh remember that he would often say um that he would wonder what it would taste like to U ingest human Europe okay he was like nine or 10 at this time so it it wasn't anything like sexual at that time I'm assuming which is vile to me but uh he also enjoyed playing with dead animals and he was often caught urinating on his teachers desks so he was just an antisocial kid all around um yeah so in his teens um his behavior started to catch the attention of his father so his dad was like this boy ain't right like something's going on so so secretly he started having him um have mental examination so he was taking him to like psychiatrists and stuff and having him examined but he wasn't like nobody knew that it was happening so uh he was diagnosed with uh paranoid schizophrenia and antisocial personality disorder but that was it he never had he never like took any treatment um they never put him on any medicine or like continued the treatments with him it was you have this and his dad was like okay we know that that's what he has and that was it but let's all fix it right right yeah um so because of his school the North Central High School uh they focused more on like sports activities so it was like one of the small town kind of places and he couldn't really like blend in with anybody he couldn't find any friends um and he was a loner he was always by himself he never dated anybody it was very um if you know anything about like Jeffrey dmer when he was in high school it was similar to that um so in 1965 bow Meister attended Indiana um Indiana University for a semester before he dropped out um and then he returned in uh 1967 in 1972 he attended a semester at Butler University as an adult bowm drifted through a series of jobs he did a whole bunch of different things he was moved by a strong work ethic but was also like his bizar bizarre activity like his antisocial things were starting to come out more and people were starting to notice it more finally he found someone that he started dating and uh he ended up marrying her so Juliana uh Julie Sati uh they married in November of 1971 and they had three children together so Sati later said that they had been sexually intimate six times in the over 25 years that they were married and she had never seen her husband completely new wow what so um six months after his marriage bow Meister was committed to a psychiatric hospital by his father uh for two months so basically Juliana called his father and was like he what she said was he's hurting and he needs help and so his dad was like okay it's finally time like we're gonna have to put him in the hospital so um he was in there for two months and that was it so uh bow Meister eventually founded the success successful saal lot thrift store chain in Indianapolis in 1988 around May May of 1988 herb and Julie uh purchased Fox Hollow Farm property that name sounded really familiar to me and you'll find out why I was about to say that I was about to say that sounds really familiar yeah um in 1994 B Myer's son had been playing um in the family's wooded backyard when he found a complete and partially buried human skeleton oh my go oh my gosh B meister's dad was a doctor during like the 50s and the 40s so what happened back then is they had to work on kabers a lot of the time um so what bister said was this is one of my dad's old dissecting skeletons so he just misplaced it basically um so they ended up storing it in the garage and then he buried it in the garden um later yeah so um also how old was this kid his son when he found this SK yeah oh I don't know it was in 19 so he was he was probably like an early early team cuz I'm like if any of my kids had found a skeleton in the backyard and I told them that they would immediately have gone to school and told all their friends exactly exactly they would be like oh my God guess what I found in my backyard like it would not be a secret whatever yeah kids talk back that's yeah they did definitely thanks Dad all right so um have you guys ever heard of the I70 Strangler there's I feels like every Highway has a Strangler uh every major high so the the I70 Strangler is the nickname for an unidentified American serial killer who killed at least 11 young boys and uh adult men in Indiana and Ohio between June 1980 and October 1991 by dumping their bodies off on the Interstate 7 uh the killer met his victims in yeah the killer met his victims in popular gay bars um and similar establishments within a four four block radius of Indianapolis all of the victims were uh later found naked or partially partially clothed near Interstate 70 uh often dumped in rivers streams ditches and Rural Countryside each of them had been strangled to death though it was officially unsolved uh bow Meister was their prime suspect in the case in April of 1999 according to investigators bodies related to the I70 Strangler case stopped being found in 1991 after balme had bought the uh Fox Hollow Farm so that's interesting this is why they think it he's not really two serial killers it's possible that he was this big serial killer that no one caught at first yeah yeah so there's a a long list of of his victims basically so um the body of 15-year-old Michael sha Petri was discovered naked in rural Hamilton County Indiana in June 16th of 1980 despite his young age was a male prostitute and spent a lot of his times in the gayar in IND that's crazy 15 15 he was reported missing on June 7th uh but three days later he was observed by in different parts of the city riding around in a stranger's car the cause of death was established as strangulation and there was no trace of alcohol or drugs found in his blood the topless corpse of Maurice Allen Taylor 22 years old was found on July 21st of 1982 in weasel Creek of Ral uh Hamilton County Indiana while his cause of death death was not sufficiently established law enforcement say that he was strangled as well um he was a vagrant and he lived in a boiler room in an apartment complex in downtown Indianapolis around where the gay pars were Floyd Lee Baker was 14 years old and he was found semi nude near river in Hamilton County Indiana on October 3rd of 1982 while investigating his death Authority authorities located Witnesses who stated that Baker had been seen on the evening of October 7 2nd in downtown Indianapolis boarding a blue van driven by a young white man with a bushy mustache the boy's parents told police that he had been riding his bike near the city center um the night of his disappearance and they got a call from him around 10:30 p.m. and he was calling to tell them that he was going to the movies uh and that he wouldn't be home so what actually happened was he went cruising around the gay bars and uh was never seen again after that so sad uh Michael Andrew Mick Riley was 22 years old and disappeared on May 28th 1983 while visiting the Vogue theater uh popular gay nightclub in Indianapolis he was last seen with an unidentified man that basically they were seen leaving the the bar together and no one yeah knew who it was so in February of 1998 an Indianapolis resident contacted police and claimed that bow Meister was the man that they had seen leaving the V theater with Riley Riley's new body Riley's new body was uh found in a ditch in hanet County just southeast of Greenfield on June 5th the autopsy determined that he was also strangled and the perpetrator was using a towel to strangle him oh god um Eric Allen rodiger was 17 years old and vanished on May 7th of 1985 uh his shirtless body was found a few days later near a stream in uh Preble County Ohio just east of Lewisburg this is hard to read y'all yeah yeah according to his parents rodiger was uh planning to attend interviews for his summer job uh the day of his disappearance but he did not attend so sad his friends and relatives deny that he was gay uh but later research indicated that rodiger had many acquaintances uh who were drug addicts and Drug traffickers that's not good I find that kind of offensive right because I'm like how are you gonna say that he's gay because he had friends that were drug traffickers is that what they were trying to insinuate there think they were trying to like it's his family like his family found out that he was missing and everything and they just refused to believe he's gay so they don't think that it was this gay serial killer that was like doing everything basically okay like he couldn't have been in areas at that time so this wasn't what happened so they just can't gotcha get it through their head that their son they can't accept it okay yeah right yeah uh witness Witnesses claimed that they had seen Eric at the bus stop in the early morning of March 7th um but he was uh waiting on the bus and he accepted a ride from a passing C don't do that no when found he had an apparent burn mark on his left shoulder and had been strangled with oh my God the body of 29y old yeah and it just it keeps going uh the body of 29-year-old Michael Allen Glenn uh he was found in only his underwear um in a ditch near eaten Oak Ohio on August 15th of 1986 um he lived separately from his parents in a trailer park located on the outskirts of Indianapolis and worked as a handyman and the exact date of his disappearance is not not known strangulation marks uh possibly from a rope were found around his neck he was identified three years um after with fingerprints so they had his body and they didn't know what happened so it took three years for them to realize that it was actually crazy Boyd Robbins Jr was 21 years old wi missing on October 15th of 1987 around 10 p.m. shortly after leaving his mother's home in Indianapolis and walking down the southern part of the city two days later on October 17th his naked corpse bearing strangulation marks uh was found in a ditch in rural Shel Shelby County near uh Interstate 70 in southw while investigating his murder police located two witnesses who gave conflicting information one claimed that they had seen a red Jeep Renegade near the crime scene while the others said that it was a Chevrolet Blazer a Chevy Blazer so they couldn't okay get any information basically the only information they were getting was from two separate sides so the corpse of6 they both red yeah yeah okay uh the corpse of 26-year-old Steven Lynn Elliot uh was also found in just his underwear in August 12th of 1989 in uh Preble County Ohio off of Interstate 70 he had been Strang uh strangled presumably with a rope Elliott's father told police that uh when his son came out as gay in 1979 that he left the Family household to become more involved with prostitution developing an alcohol addiction so he has kind of a type now or he yeah is showing that he has a type now I guess Russell Batman 32 years old uh licensed practical nurse disappeared on August 14th of 1990 uh after leaving his Richmond Indiana apartment to visit our our place which was local gayar his body showing signs of strangulation was found in a ditch uh by group of children near Eaton Ohio oh my God once again getting older and older yeah once again when interviewed boatman's family denied that he was homosexual so again this is like the late 80s early 90s so around that time it was still very very T to be gay so there are a lot of people that are just like no I I don't believe Thomas Ray Clevenger Jr 18 years old vanished without a trace on September 6th of 1990 his semi-nude corpse was found at an abandoned railroad track in Greenville Ohio Avenger grew up uh in a poor neighborhood in Indianapolis and shortly before his death he engaged in prostitution near Gars to earn some money his family again was like no he doesn't do that he's not gay he doesn't do that I mean what hell like it's so stupid do you do you not they're victims so their family's like no he's not gay there's no way that could happen which is still insan the body of 42-year-old Otto Gary Becker was found in a ditch next to a Gravel Road Road in rule Henry County Indiana on August 6th of 1991 while investigating his murder police identified several W uh Witnesses who claimed that they had seen Becker in the car with another male driving down uh I70 the Witnesses were taken to the police station and shown photographs of V various criminals convicted of kidnapping and murder charges in the state but none of them match the alleged abductor so no one knows if that was really him or not um because there was there was nothing nothing was ever tried for it so while that's all happening at his crazy crazy Mansion of a house in Fox Hollow Farms there's other bodies that are starting to come up so the bow Meers purchased and moved to Fox Hollow Farms in May of 1988 uh the house was built in 1978 and was uh and sold in 2009 for $987,000 damn that was hard to read it's huge it's huge there's a it it's crazy it's 18 Acres there's four bedrooms and 10 bathrooms why are there so many bathrooms what yeah whyd that's annoying yeah um it's 11,572 square feet it only has four bedrooms and four bedrooms yeah so these bedrooms better be huge right and you need like multiple bathrooms because the room's so big like are you going to go into they also had an indoor pool and a wet bar and that's just a few of like the extravagant things that they had in this Farm okay there is also a five car garage uh with a second floor outside deck they had two horse stables and an exercise ring for the horses so there's a lot of on it's huge yeah on June 24th of 1996 investigators recovered human bone fragments um of at least 11 people that were buried in the woods of Fox Hollow Farms in the 18 acre property so they're in the woods of his uh farm and they're starting to find bone fragments um a new search on December M 4th of uh 2022 found one bone and identified 20 additional locations that they might have uh found bones so they're still out apparently that's crazy yeah only eight people have been identified since the initial discovery of the bones the additional three remains um are still unidentified although that they all believe to uh be male and they all to believe to be victims of homicide so they're able to tell enough that they know that it was most likely someone that was murdered as a male uh yeah Hamilton County coroner's office have appealed to the public requesting that anyone missing family members from the mid1 1980s to the mid1 1990s in Indianapolis um to have a complete DNA test done so they're still trying to make sure that they can figure out who these people are as of uh January 2024 forensic experts continue working on the efforts to uh identify nearly 10,000 uh human remains recovered from Fox Holo Farm oh my God 10,000,000 like pieces of body oh my God yeah yeah so it's bone fragments and it's the woods so literally anything could have happened but they have enough information to know that something wasn't wrong yeah so uh these are the ones that they have identified uh Johnny Lee uh Bayer was 20 years old May 28th of 1993 free Allen Jones 31 years old went missing on July 6th of 1993 Richard Douglas Hamilton Jr 20 years old went missing July 30th of 1993 Allan Lee Livingston 27 years old went missing on August 6 of 1993 that's like one after another like yeah yeah yeah uh Stephen sperlin hail 28 years old went missing April 1st of 1994 uh uh Wayne rad 28 years old went missing on June 6th of 199 4 Roger Allen goodlet 33 years old went missing July 22nd of 1994 Michael Frederick Kieran 45 years old uh was last seen on March 31st of 1995 and uh he was last seen leaving a gay bar in downtown Indianapolis and his jacket was found at bound meister's residence wow okay Manuel rendez 34 years old a homosexual Hispanic male and children's counselor in Lafayette Indiana um who was last seen in a gay bar downtown Indianapolis on August 6th of 19 this is insane this is so much horrible I hate this yes yeah um in January 2024 Hamil Hamilton County coroner uh announced the identification of remains of those uh recovered in the 1996 from the Fox Family Farms uh human remains recovered from the property matched a family reference sample that had been submitted in 2023 so they're still identifying people and they're still finding wow people who who were there crazy that's crazy so uh by early 1990s investigat in Marian County Sheriff's Department um and the Indianapolis Police Department uh began investigating the disappearances of gay men of similar age height and weight in the Indianapolis area so in the early 90s they started they thought they might have a serial killer um in 1994 they were contracted uh contacted by a man named Tony Harris claiming to be a gayar patron uh calling himself Brian Smart that had likely killed one of his friends Roger goodlet based on from what he had seen and what he had heard he thought that this could possibly be this guy um he th this guy said that he had tried to uh erotic autoerotic accociation is when you try choke yourself basically so he was saying that that's what happened to his friend he wasn't involved in it it wasn't anything that he did it was this guy which isn't true uh okay so um police later identified Brian smart as her bout Meer so he is this guy that has been giving a fake name and trying to lure these people out of this bar investigators approached bout meister and told him that he was a suspect in these disappearances um and asked if they could search his house both bow meister and his wife Julie uh refused to allow the search of their property by June of 1996 however Julie had become sufficiently frightened with her husband's eratic Behavior Uh that she was filing for divorce and then she consented to the search which is oh my God yeah he's he's finally getting to a point where she's scared so she's like no I'm out also you can search the house yeah um the search of the estate was conducted while B Meister was on vacation so he wasn't even there he wasn't able to say anything or do anything it turns out that the remains of 11 men eight of whom who were identified so there were 11 men that were in his house but only eight of them were identified Ms of with a warrant of his of his arrest bow Meister fled to Ontario uh where he committed suicide in a park he shot himself with a handgun he left a three-page suicide note on a yellow legal paper he regretted messing up the park was what he wrote he felt so badly about his broken marriage and his failing business there is no mention of any of the victims in his note he didn't take oh my God responsibility no accountability for he discovered items on his trip um including his intention to um kill himself in a different place so he that wasn't the first place that he was going to do it that's just the the easiest place I guess um it he apparently saw children at the first place where he was going to kill himself and so he decided to move so he had enough of a heart to not kill himself how thoughtful yeah yeah yeah and apparently his last meal was a peanut butter sandwich so that is bow Meister he what a piece of [ __ ] first of all second of all he he's okay killing a child but not okay exactly committing suicide in front of them yeah his youngest 15 I hate him but at the same time was horrible that was horrific yeah I'm sorry I'm sorry it's hard to read good job but now I got to go to bed I'm GNA have bad dreams Jesus it was very interesting to me when I started reading it because it was I started like seeing uh dmer and then gayy and then like I it feels like all of the queer solo Killers have like a very similar story I guess yes this reminds me a lot and I don't know if it's the same story it could be of I don't know his name I just know the story because you know I don't names um he had lot a lot of mannequins in his house he had a really big house and he had an indoor pool I remember that part of the story and then he had his wife and kids were gone and he had invited this guy to come home with him and the guy ended up leaving because he was like he was just weird and there was mannequins all over his house that's so he left and anyway it's I'm I'm assuming it's two different stories cuz that probably would have been in here but I just it sounds so similar like it's crazy I guess there's just but you're right just like the same OS and same things and like it's crazy that's what I was saying at the beginning I was like I or what I was saying to you guys before we started recording like I don't know if I've told this story before because I like I know all of this but I don't know if I've told this story before because I start to things from it and I'm like oh I've heard that so who knows it's nut so if I've told this story before everyone just let me know but I'm pretty sure don't just ignore it because I don't think you've I don't remember hearing the story before yeah uhuh this one was hard and it would just ignore it you don't need to tell us yeah it didn't have a whole lot of information about him which a bummer but being able to list all of the victims what I think is uh important and then there's still there's still time to people they're still trying to identif that's wild which is crazy to me good at least at least they're still working on it yeah thank goodness for that DNA stuff because they can they have identified so many people because of that they've even caught murderers because of it yeah like it's crazy and there's constant stuff like there's stuff constantly coming out and like it's constantly evolving is what I'm trying to say so there's always that could be found out yeah it's fascinating that was such a crazy story good job yeah I'm gonna say I liked it because I didn't like it but no it was good you did a good job thank you yes I would have started crying if I had to say all those names I would have started crying so when I wrote the script um a couple days ago and I was reading through it and I was like I don't know I'm GNA be able to do this and I started reading it again earlier before we recorded and I was like nope you okay you're gonna have to just do it so I just had to get through it it was rough hard but good job well and it surprises you too because you don't realize like you'll be like typing something out or even reading it and it's okay but the second it comes out of your mouth and you're like that hurt that hurt to say like it's so much different to say it than and I'm just like a queer history nerd and like the 80s and like 70s type gays are my favorite so this just kind of like it really hits everything basically so right different it's interesting sorry good job sorry yeah it's fine that's fine everything's
