welcome to the UEFA Champions League final the best two teams in Europe this season
preparing to go head-to-head for the crowd this is Derek Ray in the commentary
position and I'm joined as always on these big occasions by Stuart Robson it is
Manchester United against and still danger here I think the threat has been
averted and here's the lineup for Manchester United Anthony plays
with Marcus rashford in the white positions and they line up with just

as the complete footballer Stuart what do you think we'll see from him today I would describe
him as Majestic but he's playing at his best he Glides past Defenders he's got that ability to
run with the ball into open space he can pick out a pass he can wriggle out a tight situations he's
the most creative player on the field [Applause] today read that pass all the
way cutting it [Applause] out and a strong tackle vanan well doesn't have to do it on his
own can they Forge ahead and it has arrived the opening statement
in this UEFA Champions League final well here's the goal again and it's a
great ball to put in through good Vision to set up the chance and the Finish is just
as good that's an excellent goal underway once more and it's going to be interesting to see
whether or not PSG can articulate an appropriate [Applause] reply good use of Advantage
well all doing their bit to keep them out out of play United throw in coming up effective challenge dioo Doo it has to be and a fine stop and overa comes the corner
couldn't get it past that first Defender really poor timing and some will argue
that he was asking for a yellow [Applause] card and with that the attack
Fizzles out potentially freedom for United on the flank a fine reading of the situation well there we have
it we're at the halfway mark so back on the way and the
responsibility falls on PSG to show a bit of fighting [Applause] Spirit Well it
clearly was deflected so it will be their throw in it will be a par SAR free kick hakeim Top Class defending still could be dangerous on a time for composure
on the ball Bruna fernan has it and ball back with PSG [Applause] now vtor fera very quick thinking there well the
counter chance looks very real well it fizzled out that's what you call defending
from the front possibilities here it's got Momin and the shot well it really looked
as though that was going to be another goal from him well a chance three second there
probably should have done a bit better there really and a shot from miles out still a chance and the referee has
decided to award the free kick to [Music] [Applause]
PSG Mitch vtor fera just 15 minutes remaining and Marco asencio giving it away [Music] Anthony time is against PSG but they still have
the ability to hit back but nothing comes of it and the throw in here for United they have elected to go
to the bench at this stage of the game Bruna fernan has it we're using the space really
well but now can they push on and the goalkeeper has outdone himself with that save [Applause] well they fancy a short one oh it's a really well time challenge so 2 minutes of stoppage time
to be added on and it took a little Nick before it went over the touch line so
a throw in here really pressing their opponents PSG simply must be opportunistic
with time not on their side and now the whistle they all wanted to hear Manchester United
have painted the Champions League red well just look at the emotions out there joy and
relief on one side Despair and heartache on the other but we've got the right winners
here they fully deserved it on the night for these players well it's the night
of their lives and they're determined to enjoy every millisecond well they have
to make the most of this don't they it's a great feat what an achievement from them
well they don't need to be reminded about what comes next it's the presentation
of the coveted Champions League trophy well there's some tied players out
there but what you can be sure of they'll find some energy when they get their hands
on the trophy they'll be going mad in the next few moments the Champions League winners
Manchester United well this is what they wanted what a moment for these
players they've worked so hard to win this trophy they've been fantastic and
you can feel the emotion it's natural to reflect on this final but so much hard
work has gone into the entire campaign
