that line play and watch J go at it I mean J's playing that position really well and I'm excited for him Tom do you have any expectations for Morgantown the environment the stadium atmosphere what are your personal or the team's expectations for how what West Virginia is going to throw throw at you from a fan base perspective uh from what I'm hearing I mean I haven't been to West Virginia personally so I'm I'm excited to see uh the hostile environment in uh week one and I'm ready to ready to play how's how's specka looked so far speca is looking great I mean has a great attitude he has a great uh mentality and he's just taking every day one day at a time and uh coming out trying to get better each day and seen trying to make improvements on where he he found he finds he needs to be what's it like trying to guard Tyler war and pass coverage uh I haven't guarded him in a little while actually I don't think I guarded him this year yet but um it's it's hard I mean it's not easy I mean he's a Shifty guys especially for his size you don't expect him he can get off the ball pretty fast so if you don't get your hands on him I mean how how have you seen him kind of work with I guess the cornerbacks this year just given the fact that he's going to be asked to do everything on offense I mean the corners are attacking and sort of the safeties I mean he's learning from them and they're learning from him I mean he's one of the best Tack in the country my opinion and uh I'm excited for him this year and I feel like him learning from those safeties is going to make him better are you've been teammates with Kobe for a while now both going in the year four how has the player you've seen in him been been different over this off seon than the first three years are there any big differences there oh he's been extremely more vocal I mean he's he's again holding people accountable but he's also taking people under his wing and showing them the right way to go about the program and how to take care of yourself how to take care of your body and have a routine come in every day and do that routine I missed your answer at the very beginning but you know as a team captain now for the second time as a pennslvania guy with with your story what does it mean to you what does it feel like to you hear that from coach Franklin I mean it's a huge honor I mean I used to dream the day that I play at Penn State and now being playing there and being a captain I mean it's a dream come true but I'm just grateful for the opportunity that he gave me to come here and uh I'm just happy I made the most of it we saw the uh social media post with Dan Conor's kids yeah what was that moment like for you that that was awesome that was really full circle I mean that was my I think it was my kindergarten picture I wor his I wouldn't take that Jersey off at all I wanted to be number 40 I used to watch him all the time himit paa lesli and sha Le all three of them I used to watch growing up and now being able to learn from him get coached by him I mean it's awesome and just trying to pick his brain and get to understand how he understands the game what what's he like as a coach he's great I mean he relates to us so much cuz he he's been through the program he's been through the league he's been through it all I mean he's just learning from him and knowing how to go day by day and each practice where to learn he's making each drill relate to ing game situations I'm loving it what have you seen on tape from Garett green so far he's speedy and uh he's quick I mean can't let him get loose I mean that's really the big thing we see on him and uh we got to take him serious and be ready for him to scramble get him down to the ground when you played them last year he was didn't have a ton of experience starting at the college level now he has a full season under his belt in the prep you've watched are there any big differences in his game that you noticed from later on in the season after week one compared to when you faced him in person I feel like he runs a lot a lot more now I mean towards the end of the season I thought he was running I mean a ton I mean I was kind of surprised but uh I mean that's what he does and that's what he does best and I'm excited for for us to play against him and scheme up against him and kind of looking at their running backs um is there any difference in their in the approach to you know Donaldson versus white I know they're both you know two totally different sizes but obviously white could move his feet in the tackle so is there any difference in your approach I mean just we just got to know that white uh they're going to either cut us on pass block or even in even in the Run game we gotta be ready to hit and be be able to change Direction with them and know just find them in the hole thanks thanks
