hey guys got some big news Bailey Smith from the Western Bulldogs has just requested a trade let's get into it okay so it says here Western Bulldog star Bailey Smith will have a new club in 2025 after requesting a trade from the Western Bulldogs Smith 23 years old and his management informed the Bulldogs of their intentions on Monday so today in a statement the Bulldog said Smith who future has been made public for the past uh year had not yet nominated his third Club um according to Mast head Smith will likely land at jalong has also been CED by Hawthorne but obviously the season's still running for the Hawks so we won't won't really know that they're of their interest just yet but yeah so jalong look like they're in the box seat for now um given Bailey's immense Talent age and proven ability to influence games the club will work through diligently to sure it's fairly compensated throughout the process Yeah well yeah 23 years old level um being one of the best players in the team we had a lot of top five finishes in the BNF so um you'd hope we would get like at least pick a first round pick at least you know I'm thinking like top 10 or maybe two too late first round picks uh Smith who is off contract has has made it clear he wants to play for front as a Frontline midfielder having been used on the wing and high half forward um before he rupted his ACL so that might present a little bit of a problem that's why I didn't expect to get a couple first rounders you know in that sort of top five um you know he's sure he's young and still got a lot of potential but he has done his ACL that's like a 12mon injury usually so he'll probably lose a little bit of value there so why I said yeah so yeah it's kind of be a bit of a loss for the dogs he's a very good outside mid so there you go guys it's official Bailey Smith will be leaving the Western bulldogs so let me know what you think um what sort of deals might go down between the two clubs um if you think Hawthorne might be a Suitor as well let me know in the comment section below until next time guys
