Dolly Parton celebrates expansion of Imagination Library in Kentucky

in my coat of many colors Mama made for me I am so excited to be here because you know why we're here we're going to roll out the Imagination Library in all of Kentucky thanks to you from the time they're born they get a book once a month until they start kindergarten and of course that way they get the little book in the mail with their own little name on it and they love that when they get big enough to go to the mail box or where they get big enough to say mama read me this Uncle Joel read me this it's really a great way to teach children when they're very young to learn to love books and to learn to read hey good looking what you got cooking of course I'll always be a singer songwriter but I just hope people will just say she was a good old girl you know she she tried hard she worked hard and she tried to make the world a better place and try to make people happy and uh I will be doing that till I kill over
