[Music] welcome to brenford mate how does it feel to be a beast player no I'm honestly delighted to be here it was an amazing feeling you know meeting Thomas Frank and everybody here is an amazing feeling to finally be here how much have we spoken to Thomas about sort of what he wants from you and sort of why you wanted to come to the club yeah for me I think Thomas was a big factor of me coming here um in the first place I feel like his project really really sold it well to me and I believe that I'll I'll play here and further my development so I'm really excited to start yeah cuz obviously he's got a good record of developing young players throughout his career is that something that obviously appealed to you as as a young player yourself absolutely I think that was one of the main factors that appealed me to brenford his style of play and the way he is with young players and how he conducts himself I think is amazing and just speaking to him kind of sold me so yeah yeah obviously the lad of training over the other side today and obviously you came in how much have you spoken to them and how much they made you feel welcome already yeah absolutely some of them made me feel welcome already I've met a few of them and I'm just honestly I'm just happy to be here so yeah you obviously come from Southampton played a few games in the Cup last season how was that as an experience getting your first sort of senior minutes in no it's an amazing feeling you know playing under bigger crowds in front of 20,000 is it's an amazing feeling and just for the experience as well I feel like it's given me the opportunity to come to a place like brenford and really further my career yeah and obviously we've got sampton tomorrow on Saturday have you spoken to any of the lads yet about um potentially coming up against them really seeing them yeah I've spoken to a few it's an exciting game we see who who wins hopefully brenford do but yeah you know it's a it'll be a good game very good game and you've played a lot of youth football for England as well played a lot for different age groups and and whatnot how do you feel like playing in those games sort of with a lot of other talented younger players um has helped your development sort of over those years yeah no I think it's been amazing I think playing with so many good players at a younger age has kind of helped my development and helped theirs cuz everybody around me is has a lot of quality so I feel like that's help helped my game and helped others around yeah and you and you've got your first England the 19 call up as well today congratulations on that it's going to be a good couple of weeks for you isn't it it will be yeah thank you obviously signing today and then playing potentially for them um how much have you paid attention to brenford over the last few years obviously you've been at sampton have you watched much of brenford and sort of they've been one of the teams I thought have done really really well obviously they came up a couple of seasons ago and they've done well to stay in the Premier League and I feel like they're a team that can really compete really well in the Premier League now so yeah yeah and obviously as a left back yourself Ric Henry's um a left back as well I feel like from watching a few clips of you you're quite similar players and is he someone that you're looking forward to working with and maybe learning from yeah for me I think he's a very experienced player played a lot of games in the Premier League so it's someone to kind of learn off of and gain some experience off of him to better my game as well yeah 100% And I think the way that our fullbacks play you know especially Rico he likes to get really far forward on that left hand side is that something that suits your game as well sort of getting forward absolutely I like attacking you know with modern day fullbacks nowadays you're required to attack and defend and I feel like that's a big part of my game is going forward so yeah yeah yeah elaborate a little bit more on that sort of what sort of player are you and what sort of player can brenford fans expect to say I'm quite a versatile player I'd say I think I'm quite fast I'm good at dribbling and I think my Crossing abilities are quite good finding finding a strike and having that relationship with my Winger is also a good thing that I like to have to kind of progress up the pitch and keep demanding the standards of others as well you mentioned Pace there um Rico and Kevin sharder have always had a little bit of a running battle between them as to who they think's the quickest are you going to try and rival them too of course always I believe I'm the quickest anyway so okay well look forward to seeing that look forward to seeing that what what your targets and goals from your time at brenford what do you want to achieve while whilst you're here I want to be a Premier League football player and I want to make sure I play a lot of minutes for brenford and ultimately be the best player I can be yeah 100% And and finally what's your message for the for the brenford fans enjoy this season and
