for some wi simple game guys of course I give you three famous people who have something in common I give you a factoid from the Wikipedia page connect the person to the factoid three people three factoids if anybody goes three for three you get the relish oh boy we' had since early in the pandemic for Joy that's some Tiger King relish right there uh guys we know the NFL football season kicked off last night right so I have for you three of the voices who guide us through the game as our fantasy teams crumble and your parlay dies I have for you Jim N Joe Buck and Al Michaels three of the lead play-by-play guys apologies to Mike too uh your Wikipedia just wasn't that interesting oh wow dang well it was just it was nothing I mean it was fine I like Mike T he's been doing all that work with the Olympics he a he is great he great went to Syracuse one of the best yes he did go to Syracuse you're he started working there while he he started working at the TV station in town while he was in college was there for a couple years went straight to ESPN for 25 years huh was the voice of Sunday Night Football now anyway here we go first question who played golf in college and I mean like as a member of the team not just as a hobby but was on the golf team in college uh what are their names again just about to say the same thing is on the left Jim Nance who works for our Network he's in the middle and that's Joe Buck who is uh on ESPN now he's on the far right I'm going to go the guy in the middle guy in the middle Jim Nance I'm going to go Joe Buck Joe Buck uh wa wait wait the news room's playing oh news room's playing too Hi News room I don't I don't think Joe Buck did anything in college except wait to do his dad's job dang I think it's Jim N oh roasted he had Little Neck movement right everybody's on jymn do you see um I'll say jymn is it does it because Jim Nance also does golf play byplay does that yeah is that why you think so sure okay sure uh well guys uh Al Michaels went to Arizona State they have a very good golf program couple guys who played in the golf program there Phil Mickelson John ROM both Masters champions yeah University of Houston also has a very good golf program fuzzy Zeller went there he was a master's Champion great name yeah uh Nick falo was there for 10 weeks and he realized that going to was getting in the way of his golf so he left but he's both guys both Masters champion and in 1992 University of Houston Alum Fred Couples won the Masters Fred Couples with his former teammate and roommate Jim Nance on the call for CBS Sports how about that they were roommates on the golf team together one guy goes on to win The Masters the other guy the play-by-play guy that's pretty cool on the broadcast that is pretty cool what are the chances of that uh so a lot of people I think everybody got look look no newro new good very good uh second question also College related who did not graduate from college be based on the snark from I was just about to say I'm gonna go Joe Buck I was gonna go Al Michaels okay okay yeah I'm tempted to go Al Michaels cuz I feel like he probably started his career earlier than college but I get I'll I'll say Joe Buck everybody's on Joe Buck or Michael Mich Michael why not two Michaels and two bucks so nce just gives off that college graduate look to you guys then right uh so we mentioned that El Michaels went to Arizona State they have a great broadcasting program and he's a great broadcaster Nance's first job we mentioned he went to University of Houston his first job was at the CBS of affiliate in Houston okay now for folks at home don't realize how unusual that is to get a job in that big of a city as your first television job but that's just how good he was I guess you mentioned Buck's dad being he's the great Jack Buck if so if you don't know he was a legendary play-by-play guy as well Buck was hired by Fox to call NFL football games at age 25 making him the youngest person to ever hold that position position wow must be nice and that was only a handful of years after dropping out of Indiana University yep and he did I'll be he did have some jobs like he got a job at the CBS affiliate in St Louis because that's where his family's from his dad was a big Cardinal BR he he did get some nepotism but that doesn't mean he's also not good right that might have gotten him the job but he kept the job I think he's really good yes he got opportunities because his last name was B but he actually is is really good too uh final question here we go who was in an episode of Hawaii 5 oh Al Michaels I whatever Tracy said no I just said that because his shirt is kind of partially open and he like it's funny he's giving why Kik by it's funny because Jim Nance's shirts also open but not in such a Hawaii way exactly he doesn't look as relaxed he's in a more I'm going to sell you so much software kind of mood there does Michaels have taco beat he might I mean I've never seen Al Michael sherles but I feel like he's got a fair amount of body hair oh he does give that off I'm sticking with Michael though just cuz I'm just you know news room um I like Tracy's confidence why not Al Michaels Al Michaels I could be wrong I don't uh so Hawaii 5 you know the The Reincarnation of it aired for 10 years on CBS yeah Jim Nance of course the lead play-by-play man for CBS oh they love a crossover yeah Jim Nance is in Hawaii calling the Pro Bowl was he on the same episode as Jordan sugundo crime crime breaks out Jim Nance is there mcgarrett talks to Jim N now the original series though that aired from 68 to 80 also on CBA mhm also Hawaii 5 that sometimes cast local actors all right or just people from the community to be on the show because you're in Hawaii you don't want to fly somebody in from LA to be a right so one episode had attorney Dave brunstein on there is an episode called run Johnny run great name featuring a sports anchor from the local station KH H VH I think it was Al Michaels yay so he wasn't just a paid off yeah so your confidence was correctly placed however you arrived there um he wasn't just a uh what's it called an extra he actually had speaking Parts oh nice that's very cool yeah attorney Dave BR in run Johnny run yeah uh I think somebody won relish there it wasn't me no it was at cam cam three for three all right cam come get your relish it needs Ashley's hot dog to go yeah we got some hot dog BS in here too uh good job everybody remember these are the voices that guide us through the games indeed indeed through the hard times and the good I hear there he is there he is coming they'll get you I'm here congratulations congratulations you should feel so proud it's full of pre and probiotics when you when you answered Al Michaels right I was like oh man she knows this no it was it was just the open yeah but your confidence in inced everybody you're already getting a whiff you got it's got a patina yeah yeah it's yeah it just smells like really strong relish we should probably start wearing gloves to handle that from now on tongs
