Well, it is already Friday morning after a really thrilling football game tonight and a really beautiful evening downtown. Yeah. Not that I have got a couple of showers to show you on radar. A Friday rain chance and we'll get you ready for a cool weekend as well. Uh, yes, the weekend is close with it already being Friday. We're just now a day away from that weekend. Uh, right now over downtown it is dry clear and 75 degrees. It was a much warmer day. We were close to 90 in Indianapolis officially coming in at 89. Our low 67 degrees. So those are, uh, Thursday numbers averages are 82 and 61 officially at the airport. No rain, but I've been tracking a little complex of rain and storms moving across Hamilton County. It's now across parts of Madison County. Still impacting the Fisher area in southeast. Heads up Fortville and mccordsville. This is moving east a little bit of lightning within this as well in between Pendleton and Lapel. Over toward Anderson. If it holds together, Middletown Muncie, you would eventually be in the path. This is the type of activity that we're going to see over about the next 18 hours or so. Friday is not going to be a washout although we could use a little bit of rain. Latest drought monitor came out on Thursday. We saw the area in expand to cover most of the state moderate drought conditions, northeast and southwest, although we're not expecting much in the way of rain. 10th of an inch or less. And there will be a lot of locations that don't get any rain. Future track 13 shows a spotty shower or thunderstorm as we get into tomorrow afternoon and early evening, that will be the main impact. And then as we get into Saturday, the big story will be the cool down that is coming in terms of severe storms, not expecting much. If we get that thunderstorm development between about noon and 5 p.m. tomorrow, a few gusty storms will be possible. Otherwise, as we look ahead to Friday night football, we're gonna clear things out. It's breezy turning cooler. You'll need the jacket or the sweatshirt Friday night. Penrod is on Saturday and the Colts are at home to kick the season off. Kickoff. Temperature will be close to 70 cool this weekend, upper sixties, low seventies and then eighties return starting Monday.
