the missouri tigers are looking to bounce back from a tough loss to kentucky on friday as they take on the lindenwood lions here in the hearn center this will be the second time this week that missouri has taken on lindenwood as the two met in the state of missouri meet on january 30th a meet won by missouri all eyes will be on the season's star freshman shauna miller who took four events and the all-around against kentucky miller led missouri out of the tunnel as the tigers got ready to take on the lions but it was redshirt senior caitlyn trevino that got things started on the vault as she earned a career-high 9.9 score to give missouri the early lead miller got her chance to shine on the uneven bars however as she stuck this unbelievable landing to notch a personal best score of 9.9 to keep the tigers ahead at the halfway point the team and the crowd got fired up as they headed into the last two events but lindenwood would not back down the lions put together great scores on the floor in vault to stay in the match but it was missouri freshman becca shugo who really shined at the end as she combined a 9.775 on the vault with an impressive floor performance that put the tigers out of reach shugo's impressive performance earned her a share of the vault crown and the all-around individual title a season-high team score of 49.15 on the floor event closed out the competition and vaulted missouri to a victory over the lions miller shined again from missouri as she set a new personal record on the bars but it was shugle that really led the tigers down to beat lindenwood and improve to 5-0 all time against the lions missouri will hope to continue this momentum into friday as they travel to take on sec rival florida from the hern center i'm matt vereen 23 sports
