hey this is Mark Smith from the San Jose Sharks you're watching Bay Area sports route tough loss but think you kind of found a little bit of group for yourself offensively can you talk about your game toight yeah um you know just trying to make stuff happen move my feet um you know play with confidence um think I'm at my best when I'm doing those things and um obviously a tough loss for us at the end and um you know for us uh you know we've made it clear all year that we're never going to quit and we're going to work great till the end so regardless of the outcome uh we work as hard as we can every night can you talk about that pass to to I believe it was Zing there on the power play I mean great work by the power play to retrieve the puck and move it up to you and then did you did you take a shot it wasn't sure if you held it there and opened up that lane yeah I mean anytime you can take a shot that's great but um you know I just saw him through the seam there and uh threw a fake and and threw it over to him so um obviously he's got a great shot and a great release so U you know he's going to hit that uh you know mostly 10 times out of 10 now for yourself are you trying to be a little bit more a shot threat the shot pass with even on that Z you you kind of take the shot there just what is your kind of approach there yeah I think you know just attacking um you know it's hard for the defense to read uh whether you're going to shoot or pass um you know I've been trying to shoot more just just get pucks to the net and create chaos and um you know on that one I think you kind of make them bite a little and and send it over so um you know just trying to be creative out there and um it's nice for a power play to get a goal there how you felt about your game just since the break here a pretty good game all that out how you felt overall just since the break yeah feel really good uh I feel refreshed and um you know feel energetic out there I feel like I got good legs so um you know I think our team's um you know taking a step in the right direction uh since the break and um you know obviously before tonight we had two real good games and you know I thought tonight you know obviously we could have could have came out with a victory too so um you know for us staying positive and um you know keeping our fresh legs uh coming out of this break I was going to say the game against Cog you know you pretty much have have those Top Line shut down where tonight they're getting breakaways what was the difference tonight was that more disappointing that after that win against Calgary um there's a lot of games in the year right um you know you can't can't Dell on things can't look at you know other games and stuff like that so um you I think just just tighter through the neutral zone um you know D forwards everyone um you know staying in between the dots making sure we're talking and uh making sure we know who we got covered and um obviously uh our goalies were unbelievable again um they have been all year and uh they keep us in games uh more times than not on uh Duke's go your breakout pass that that leads to it um that pass looked like it was headed toward grin but didn't quite it went off the the wall was that sort of your intention it kind of Bounce It Off and I don't know I don't know what you're thinking there uh you know you try to go back for Puck hard and um you know the guy's right on you and making a hit so you don't have much choice but you know to make a hard play and um you know that's a good play by our forward stretch into the far Blue Line scene where that Puck's going to go and um obviously a great play by by those two up there so um yeah was a hard fought game and just a tough loss at the end thanks please give us a like And subscribe to our YouTube channel
