AFL FINALS PREDICTIONS 2024

Intro what's good everyone today I'll be going through my 2024 AFL finals predictions after the Sunday game a couple days ago finals are finally here and it's going to be big it's going to be exciting now before we get into anything else just quickly for you guys in the comments comment down below what you guys think will be the premier for 2024 comment down maybe the grand final with like scores of who you think is going to win and we'll see maybe who gets the most accurate prediction from this point onwards but obviously yeah finals predictions like I do in every other year I'll be going through the games not in as much detail as I would be for the weekly tips and I'll still be doing my week one finals tips next week will going through you know that the big calls all the other stuff as well the Tipp and comp so don't act like that's not going to happen I'll be doing both but um yeah I fig we do my final spr can see how many games I can get right and before we get into it you guys have been getting around the content as a lat it's been doing pretty well we've got a big goal of 40,000 subscribers by Grand final day so have a look to see if you subscribe because if you're not this is a great time to do it as finals are kicking around I've got heaps of big videos coming up over the next month big videos big streams final serieses here and we're starting off with the finals Port Adelaide vs Geelong predictions on the Monday in the morning they went through the fixture so we have P Adela and Jong for the first qualifying final now this isn't the first time we've seen a fixture like this before with P Adan jalong 2020 and 2021 they're both played off in qualifying finals but I feel like we've got to start giving a little bit more credit to Port even myself they're one of the more underrated sides heading into the final series I think they're now six or seven wins in a row and that went against Foo when honestly top two was already locked in they didn't really need to play for much they could have rested with injuries and all that they still went out and won against a pretty dead hungry Foo side it's got to be um respected so it's a tough task for the cats who have notoriously been pretty crap in qualifying F especially away and I just don't remember the last time P have actually lost in a qualifying final so this has a potential on a Thursday night to be one of those sort of dead rubber games the Thursday games normally aren't the best games of the final Series in week one and I just have a feeling pite are going to just get the job done early and from there they'll dominate the game so I'm going to say in the first game that P win by 38 points and they'll move into a preliminary final and the cats will have to play a semi at the MCG now as before look some of these predictions may change from now until next week because with ins and outs with other things with how I'm feeling my head it'll change possibly so don't just act like this is exactly what I'm going to be tipping but it's what Hawthorn vs Bulldogs I'm feeling at the moment it's what I'm feeling you know early on next game this is going to be probably the game I'm looking forward to most in the first week of finals it's going to be the more exciting of the games bulldogs and Hawthorne on the Friday night now finally the Hawks actually playing some Friday night footy first time I think that's happened since Co and it's against the Bulldogs you know in both sides are red hot in form you'd be mistaken to think this is not a qualifying final with the form that these two sides have been in but this is yeah definitely going to be going on G to make a video on it the only game the first week at the MCG if this was at Marvel I would definitely be learing more towards the dogs but because of the fact that obviously they're going to be playing these games at the MCG Marvel just don't get finals anymore haon have the advantage the dogs just don't have in my opinion the experience at the MCG as much as hathon do and I cannot recall the last time they lost so I think up the both four lines are going to be really exciting to watch and I think it's going to be a shootout close for majority but what I reckon will happen as an early call as hathon just get a few goals late and they end up winning the game I'm going to say about 14 points so 14 points Hawthorne Advanced Bulldogs are out Hawthorne fa the cats in a semi next up on the Saturday Sydney vs GWS Twilight arvo I think the Saturday um AO Tom whatever you call it we' got Sydney and gws battle of the bridge at the scg now the battle of the bridges have always been good matchups to be honest in recent memory they've always been pretty close and this is the fourth Battle of the bridge during the final series as well so because the Giants they're capable of probably beating anyone anywhere I see them as a bit of a Callingwood of 2023 they had their run in 2022 they've got more experience now the swans obviously finishing first H into a bit of a road block in terms of form like I don't remember the last time they've actually been really good against the top side and one and because of that and because of the fact that Giants can win anywhere and I'll have maybe a couple plays coming back probably same with swans I just have a feeling the Giants might make an upset here and I think I'm going to tip them by Five Points in another ripping Battle of Bridge to make it to a home prelimary Brisbane vs Carlton final and the final game of the first week of the finals the elimination final bruan and Carlton would it have been better if it was Bruin Frio I personally feel like this won't be as big of a smashing as a lot of people might already be suggesting cuz K they'll have quite a number of plays coming back into the side I know dcone and KERO Mai they probably didn't deserve to make it after the last few weeks but they're in that's all that matters Bruce bin probably should be in the top four their form has been averag in the last three weeks so they're getable obviously the blues beat them earli in the season and I think it'll be a close one but I think the reason it'll be close is because the line just can't kick straight they got to fix that it'll be one of those games with the gab with the Lions just there in accuracy keeps any opposition in it but ultimately I think the Lions still have to win this game they're a better side than Caron at the moment and I think they win the game at the Gaba by nine points 86 to 77 and they advance to a semi-final against the swans so now we got the semi-finals uh I I'm just predicting what the dates and times are going to be I assume they're all going to be night games we have cdy and Brisbin the first semi-final on the Friday night now could the first side on the ladder end up finishing in straight sets possibly I mean I can't remember the last time that has happened but there's a chance the patchy formless have been in especially against the better sides and Bruin I feel like at one stage they're almost guaranteed to make it through to maybe a prelim it's a hard one the swans played really well at the scg though I feel like you they can't go out in straight sets they've got to eventually pick up a win at the scg and I just feel like the lines might not get enough done I think this might not be the season for the Lions choking that top four spots always going to be hard and I probably can't see the swans going out in straight sets after a pretty solid last couple of games against the crows and the bombers I think that they win this game and I'm going to say they win it by 16 points to move in into a prelim final against the Geelong vs Hawthorn power uh the next game is a big one jalong Hawthorne in a semifinal we've seen that before actually no we haven't we haven't seen it in a semi we've seen many of finals between the cats and the Hawks but not in a semi and not really in this context at all there's probably a number of people that think I'm going to be tipping hathor and straight off the bat they're in the form they'll beat the Bulldogs they're coming into the semis in red hot form the cats with a big loss but the cats they do have that finals experience which is why you just can't tip the hawthor without thinking otherwise and the Hawks haven't been able to beat the cats at all this here they've been the bogey side with two wins the cats have had by pretty decent margins I just feel the cats will win here Hawthorn's you know rather formal come to an end it's got to eventually come to an end you would think and I just think the cats will set them down back to reality a lot of people probably will be thinking Hawthorne win with the form but I think the cats will win in a pretty decent game but I think it'll be similar to the Saints V Giants result so I'm going to say the cats will win this game by 26 and beat the Hawks knock them out and they move into a prelim against the Giants so the two prelim finals will Cats vs Giants both be outside of VI I can't remember the last time that happened probably like 2015 or something we got gws and Dong first prelim at NG Stadium when was the last time that dong and GW has played at this Stadium that's the thing right it's going to be an interesting finals venue and matchup now I'm pretty sure this will be the Friday night game I feel like the cats you know we've seen in so many years they lose the qualifying final they win the semi but then they lose the prelim and I think with the fact that I said that the Giants they'll be a little bit like coling in 2023 I feel like that the way they play their footy is really finals like and I think they'll do everything they can to get this win but the catch they have a couple plays out this could possibly be Hawkin last game so they're going to want to you know fight for the challenge as well and they're going to both put up a really good show you always get a thriller in the prelim finals normally and I think this will be one of those low-scoring Thrillers where Sid just can't put enough scoreboard pressure and I just feel like if this is to be played you'd lean on the Giants and I reckon the Giants win by two points in an epic prelim final to head into their second Grand Final and the Power vs Swans final prelim final I believe this would be the 430 game they normally have the second PR Final on the Twilight Tom which I actually don't mind I think it's actually quite a nice touch par and Sydney the power they've been in two prelim finals in the last few years and they choked in both of them but Sydney they haven't lost to Sydney in ages I don't remember the last time I lost to the swans I think it's been eight or nine wins in a row now the swans of all sides to play against in a prelim final not the power at the Adelaide oal I feel like if this were to happen the power would have a lot of confidence they could finally break that hudo of losing in these preim finals because they've just never been able to get it done the swans they're they're cap have really beating anyone anywhere if they can get back to the form that they were in with the first 15 weeks then I'd probably tip them but if this game were to have happened I feel like pite and in finals you always seem to get at least one unexpected result where a certain side wins but more than you think and I kind of have a feeling that pide will just get off the Blocks Early cdy slow starts might be a worry and they beat him by 100 points early in the year so if I'm going to predict this I'm going to P Adelaide win by 40 points7 77 and they moved to the Grand Final for the first time since 2007 and would the AFL really want this I don't know but the the Grand Final that I predicted right now was gws and Port Adelaide that's such a odd Grand final I feel like if you wanted a grand final to get you could just walk up to the ground on the day and probably get one I know obviously not but like yeah this would be an interesting Grand Final and there' be people say oh you're not going to get you know close to 90k It's a grand final you're going to get 100K regardless maybe not quite 100K but both sides play relatively solid footy at the MCG I know the Giants maybe not so much but I just feel like on the day the Giants have more finals experiencing the bigger games and I just feel like on Grand final day I think they're the better side as well they will get the win against the power we're not going to be going to the tips obviously in as much detail because I'm saving them for the future predictions but if I had to tip this game I'm going to say gws win this game by eight points good Grand Final we get another good one two instate clubs and a granny always seem to face off in good matches and that'll be the first time since 2006 we actually two instate sides a face off and a granny so the Giants in my Premier that's the way I see it from this point onwards we'll see how many of these predictions I can correct may as well go for Norman Smith ir and Brent Daniels ir and he's a sneaky chance for all Australia and if he continues that form into finals he could like Bob up with three goals 25 to SP like he just could be the match difference he's like the Toby green um of old so I'm going to Brent danels is my Norm Smith I'm going the Giants by eight points in the Grand Final well those were my 2024 AFL finals predictions I want to see yours as well but more importantly Grand finalist so
