this is something that's life-changing for our young people while the high school students from Memphis Shelby County Schools were on summer break MLGW offered them an opportunity to participate in the first ever automative boot camp from June 3rd to June 21st 16 high school students from Cordova Craigmont and Kingsbury participated in the boot camp during the boot camp the students obtained hands-on experience and learned about vehicle repair from MLG W mechanics Miller said that this boot camp benefits the students who are preparing to graduate high school our high school seniors the ones who will going to 12th grade they will continue on their training through uh through their CTE course in Auto in um automotive technology and if they want to continue on uh if if if if they pass our test and they're still interested once they graduate again that's an opportunity for them to come and work for us take a look at our inaugural Automotive boot camp say the automotive boot camp is important for me uh due to the fact that this is something that I want to do so just getting into it learning it it's a it's a it's pretty good deal yeah I feel like this is also something I want to do with my life and I feel like this is it gives me an opportunity to learn about stuff that I don't have the opportunity to learn about in other places [Music]
