and you you were playing well and and you sort of just to it kind of put that out of everyone's mind that it's it's there's nothing to kind of apologize for when you when you when you win a game like this no you play who's in front of you if the score line would have been six seven or eight i' that's the score line I mean we weren't out there to try and you know be bad sports but our team was playing to win there was a incident that happened that certainly affected the outcome of the game but I I thought our players were very professional did their jobs kept a clean sheet took hold of the game in the second half and didn't overdo it I mean I don't I don't think we were bad Sports I mean if that's if that's the outcome of the game that's the outcome of the game well yeah Brian how important is it at the business end of your schedule for the team to be professional and you know play through adversity now this one was positive but stay focused and with the minimal amount of games you got wrapped how important is for the team to have that attitude well I think Moz look look the team has always had that attitude I mean that's that locker room in there is extremely happy they're certainly extremely together they came together afterwards sing Jingle Bells that's a happy group in there whether there's good results towards the end of the year bad results playoffs notwithstanding that team is committed to each other and that's what I like the most I I don't know if this is going to go out on social media but I mean there's certain things that happened in the locker room tonight that were very powerful and I think our group is really poised to go on a good run I certainly hope that you know you know that that we can close the season out on a positive but there was a lot of things that came out of tonight because I'm sure I'm sure there were a lot of people that expected this game you know to be a loss and so for us to persevere for us to do our jobs professional and get three points is massive it's massive yeah Brian I mean I I think you mentioned it and both Albert and Jordan mentioned it that even before when it was 11 on 11 not that I'm not saying they haven't been committed but there was an Effectiveness to the Scout report that you had and you actually had the better run of play even before the red card look the coaching staff does a great job we were prepared for what Columbus even though they're missing their starters we were prepared for the way way they play the style of play some of the nuances M that I know you'll pick up on when you rewatch The Game some of our defending how we defended I mean it was pretty good we limited them to you know some some half chances here and there uh and our transition moments which we were planning for were good so you know at the end of the day positive result we're going to go home we're going to watch results before we get on the plane and then we've got three home games games to hopefully build off of this result thanks oh Murray go ahead hey Brian I just wonder what what is the conversation in the locker room like at half time obviously it's a strange situation but is it just to keep playing or Jordan said you guys on shoot shoot the ball they don't have a real goalkeeper in there and keep pressing higher up the field obviously but they were down down a man we did want to concede possession but you know press high up the field and whenever possible shoot yeah I just want to ask is do you have an update on JP I don't know if you've heard about newo yet uh that's two different things so JP has a calf uh injury and newo when I was whatsapping him back and forth said it was just precautionary uh he felt some tightness uh but we'll obviously assess him when he comes back thanks so much J Adams go ahead me I'm gonna go anyway you uh when you say tightness that was in his um new who's leg Brian Bri yes knew who told me that it was precautionary and some tightness in his I don't know left or right quad but he says he tells me he's going to be fun but look there again Reed played very well and then I specifically put Jonathan Bell on the field at left back to see what that looked like so you know we have options and then with ball placement though on those shots that uh rist neck had um they look like they would challenge any kind of any goalkeeper whether experienced or not do you kind of agree with that or have you looked at the goals um again to kind of know you know Jada thank you for asking that question because look some people may say ah they had a field player in there but we play what's in front of us and the shots the chances we created the way we defended the whole game tonight was again I have to give kudos to the guys that were in that locker room I mean they did a professional job those shots were well taken it was well played sometimes when you go up a man it's not easy to play because there's that unspoken pressure you should do this you should do that so I think you can't just speak to the quality of the goals but also the timing of the goals because Albert started us off with that free kick that he scored when the red card happened I mean that was the best way to start that whole sequence and we're up one nothing and then we absolutely controlled Tempo after that first goal Jeremiah why don't you close us out I just wanted to get your assessment real quick of uh Reed Baker Whiting it was a started left back I would imagine that wasn't an easy decision especially going into a road game against the crew well look at this time of the year Jeremiah no decisions are that easy uh there certainly was some conversation about starting Jonathan there left back but I think Reed did a great job tonight again even before the red card happened I thought he was good and you know with younger players they have higher highs lower lows senior players kind of even those it even those things out but he's a tremendous Talent proud of him but you know I was proud of everybody you know Danny Lea comes in does a good job uh Georgie again getting some minutes uh getting some guys on the field that deserve to play Nathan has had a you know good good couple of weeks of training so we're very pleased coaching staff was very pleased with the outcome of the game and certainly we'll again review the tape review the film and uh we'll prepare for the next couple of home games
