what's up little bis and sunra tomatoes this is Brandon Collins with another video from an AFA Round Table this one is with the illustrious Zoe kravits I got to talk to her about her directorial debut blanking twice which is an intense psychological Thriller starring Naomi Aki and shanon Tatum you can catch my full review on blinking twice on the median popcorn YouTube page which you should definitely subscribe to special thanks as always to afca for the dope opportunity now here's my interview with Zoe kraits Brandon Collins uh from the median popcorn podcast you wrote blink twice with ET uh Fen bombb uh who you previously worked with uh on High Fidelity right and how did you two come together to not only co-write this script but you know what how do you figure out your process in determining the themes tone and character arcs for Blink twice well actually I had so I had written basically the the basic story and I went to Eric who is a friend of mine he lives in Brooklyn um he's walking distance from me and we used to always talk about how we both want to right and um this is actually before High Fidelity and so when I sent him this idea we started to write together um and the process took so long that by the time High Fidelity came along we had already been writing the script for for a year already and so um we got to do that together which was you know amazing because we learned so much in terms of being in a in a um in a writer's room and like really having to learn about you know theme and character Arc in a way that both of us kind of didn't really know um but yeah I mean there's a reason that this took 5 years to write you know it's a really complicated story um it's a very complicated tone and uh we also had to keep on adjusting the characters and their Dynamics based off of the cultural conversation that kept changing thank you so much and great job thank you medium popcorn we are you [ __ ] sping mov yeah Brandon coll that's me and Justin Brown for your moving medium popcorn you haven't seen it well we're going to spoil it spoil it in your ice that's your warning so if you get pisses all your B
