breaking news from Ontario California a swarm of earthquake struck the region this morning according to the US Geological Survey the first Tremor a 3.5 magnitude Quake hit around 10:05 a.m. centered 3 Mi southeast of Ontario it was soon followed by a 3.9 magnitude Quake at 10:34 a.m. approximately 30 minutes after the initial Tremor by 11:45 a.m. A 2.6 magnitude Aftershock also struck about 2 mi southeast of Ontario res residents in Ontario Fontana San Bernardino Riverside Pomona and Chino reported feeling the shaking but no significant damage has been reported Dr Lucy Jones a renowned seismologist noted that today's activity is part of the Fontana seis miss lineation a Northeast striking line known for its small quakes
