shocked all of us by appearing out of retirement after 13 years away from professional wrestling right here at aw Allin London your home country of England the biggest stage Wembley Stadium and I know that back in 1992 you actually attended a show here a wrestling show and now you're competing did you ever think that would be the case I did then you know um but not now you know what you saw tonight was uh a long time coming you know what I mean 13 years since I was in a ring and 32 years since I was in this Stadium and first had that dream and that Epiphany that somehow I was going to be a professional wrestler and there was a good portion of my life after I'd retired 13 years ago where I just had to put that to bed you know you get some things and you have to just look at the positives and you know when we first found out we were coming to wimbley and that was a possibility you know like I said what you saw tonight was only a really short part of it it's been a year and a half that I've been thinking about that moment walking out in front of my home crowd and it was it was surreal it really was um I'm still not sort of I can't believe it really happened you know what I mean but um show is over now and I took my shot or shot my shot as they say and uh it didn't pay off but uh you know I will take with me a memory for the rest of my life so uh you never know how life is going to work out and uh I think if anything it just proves that there's always hope a magical moment tonight Nigel thank you so much for your time you know Kyle someone came up to me a little while ago at fact several people and said oh my God we're so excited for this one guy who was on Allin and I said well yeah Kyle Fletcher this is the protestar this is 25 years old this is 64 A2 235 lbs this is maybe the best athlete in this company and they said no we're talking about Ricochet also a tremendous athlete and I got a little bit excited because you see I love that Ricochet is here why because I sacrifice uh but it's not easy but um a few things happened this week that certainly made uh the trip worthwhile Cardiff late in the night what a reception it was truly heartwarming and the UK fans and I wrestled in that same building in 1994 so uh wow 30 years later I'm back in in in that building and then coming into this week and we got to go to the Fulham game and we got to spend some quality time together we celebrated our 14th uh wedding anniversary this week but uh tonight just super special in so many ways wimbley Stadium a surprise entrance uh in in in in the casino Gauntlet the reception I I just can't put it into words but maybe the cherry on top is that uh you Adam Paige hangman you got a receipt tonight be and I can assure you this there's many more where those came
