favorite play from today no not really you know they all were fun actually no my favorite play um little throw we had the strip right here he tipped it and caught it I feel like that was my favorite play for the day how do you feel like it it looked like maybe you were getting a little more in the receiving game than some games in the past season uh did do you like expanding your game in that way yeah I like expanding my game like I feel like it helps the team all together you know um teams can't load the Box will throw it if if they drop in the zone we'll run it so feel like it opens up a lot of things for us is is that an aspect you feel like you improved in or is that just how the game worked out today I feel like I improved in it but also that's just how the game worked out today what about getting back on the field today what did that what did that mean for you guys to see him back uh it was great seeing uh St back in the uh game it was you know he had he had a couple great catches actually um it's pretty fun watching him you know just know we have so many weapons on the field and defense really can't play for thatv but maybe there some uh stream stepped up as a leader you know just him not being able to play he was at practice encouraging everybody picking everybody up you know uh we drop a ball he'll be there you're good you don't forget it uh I feel like it opened up his leadership even better you know do you know anybody from the Aransas team any of those players uh I know J Jackson he went to Dunville from the same area um I think that's it you to AJ all about you know scouting and him being there last year past couple years uh not really just because we had to focus on week one you know now we're through week one maybe I'll have a conversation with him are you going to talk any Trash to your friend on leading up to it nah I ain't saying nothing going to let the game play uh cesie was able to set up that one TouchDown for you um just having a having a back like that and talk about him I mean uh it's pretty great honestly ESP you know he's been there he's um lucky becoming a veteran uh just off of him making that play it was pretty great I feel like whenever we sub running back you know it's not really like a level drop we all can make the plays we all can make some shakes so like it was good you know three always will be there any form same I'm not sure yet we ain't really got into that [Music] yet Feld no n I feel I actually feel better you know I feel like I'm able to take more hits you know bounce off HS and be able to get downhill quicker with it what's thatal I mean I'm not about to sit here disagree with because glad but no I felt like I had to gain weight and so whenever we had that it was you know it was good for us to get to it and I actually gain weight so it was good how much did you I think it was like 12 I was 28 last year I played today at 225 so when you see when you see brenon get the ball behind the line of scrimmage how would you sort of evaluate how he you know he made some guys miss out there how would you sort of evaluate how he plays as a as a runner uh BP's a very athletic guy you know um I'm choosing BP in open space against anybody you know um so I feel like that was really good for that's good for us and it's always good for us whenever we got a receiver I can get it out the back field and make some shap do you feel like there's a weight lifted off getting this first one uh you know just from playing a great opponent I feel like it is you know going to the next week we'll be up up one and you know preparing for next week I feel like we'll be good able to watch this film and get back in the lab he G obviously I mean do you feel how would you great the team I guess on this performance uh I feel like you know B+ a there still some things we could fix get back in the film room and see good just to get back out there yeah it was yeah it was exciting to be out there the fans all the loud noises it was great seems like there was more OE chance this year I mean I guess you know I love it you know it's great great school love the fans did you have much reaction to the QR codes being taken off the helmets uh no I didn't even know we supposed to have on our helmet I thought I don't know no I really have reaction to it how' you feel the line did today I thought the line did good you know like I said we always can get back in the lab there's everything we can improve from so we'll be fine you even notice when y'all sub guys on and off or is it just the same for you either way no it's really the same like I said um this team you can tell this team has been together for a minute cuz our ones could be our twos could be ones and you know it's not really like you lose anything how do you feel about Isaiah specifically you know he got out there some yeah isah you know I love isah glad he came here um he very athletic at the left tackle it's great to see him running you know get out there get some Blocks he's very physical so love that for us Allan said earlier that he felt more comfortable today than he had maybe last year could you sense that in the huddles and things like that could you sense he kind of had a AA around him I mean he's always controlled the game but today he had extra control of the game you know he was getting out the pocket making plays and you know I love that for Allen and for him to be able to be on our team is great for us and then Gavin Freeman he goes basically straight from the portal onto the field that's kind of rare it seems like a lot of transfers kind of take their time getting accustom to things how have you kind of seen him adjust and practice and things like that uh you know it's good you know uh Gavin you know he's doing his thing out there uh for him to be able to learn the Playbook that fast and get things down you know it's really um you know really really good for us honestly you know um I feel like him and BP are going to be CH for defense at to play against
