unfortunately he had a slight disturbance in the force if you will which resulted in a rather colorful incident involving explosive bowels needless to say the library required a thorough cleaning but at the last but but but at least the shiv creams remained untouched they their delicate flavors welcome contrast to the chaos that ensued anyway as you could imagine Brown old Kipling does make was okay but the films weren't very good but he was actually quite good in the first couple of films he was he was good in Casino Royal because they had the original um uh uh Bond people that was doing that film they knew what they were doing and then when that new director came in and started getting his own people in it just went right it just went right off the in raum I will say I've said this many times Quantum of Solace is a really good film somewhere in there yeah Reit somewhere in there a really really good film do you think do you think that Craig was like Dalton where where it was more the the scripts and and the way that they he was directed then no I can literally tell you what happened right and again take this pinch s because some I know somebody it works at Eon he said that the reason why he was hired was because um Barbara broccoli fancied him literally was Fallen all over him and you know if you look at him he's much shorter than all the other people that play Bond he's got blonde hair he looks like a potato why hire why I hire him is because Barbara Bley fancied him he was he was totally miscast for that film in my opinion totally yeah I thought he he bring something different because he come across as like a bit of a psychopath and I thought okay so it's getting a bit Aggy I thought it was something better no it was because they they went to the beginning where he was he started off as a double O and so they had to have those kind of things in there he was good in the first one because he had the old team because they knew and then when they swapped signed swapping people around and the music and all that it just became something else just became born identity that's sort of became right so that that again that's what I'm what I'm asking is is it more the because again he was good in in Casino when it was actually you know good script and bond team and all that but then he suffers from Bad scripts bad directing but but the reason why I don't like him is because it was his idea to kill Bond at the end like the last two movies which were Absolut a absolutely awful in my opinion but Spectre yeah Spectre was okay but it wasn't great it wasn't great no I yeah spectre's Spectre is very underrated it's one of those films where you just got to sit back and just go with it it's a bit long but that I think that's the point just sit back go with it just go with the flow yeah it's a decent film but the last one was horrendous it was abely awful I never I never want to watch it again yeah I have I haven't watched it since I saw it in the cinema never watched it MC hello mate wrenched I liked Spectre yeah I think wer has an interesting question that what's the panel's favorite Bond song oh uh Nobody Does it Better for me oh it's great um anyone else EMP living that die living I'm that's very short but long minute long or something but it seems like 10 minutes oh it seems like about 10 minutes yeah it's amazing music I think I later Cy potier right he um he used to deliver milk didn't he and then he made this film he made two movies and he did the second movie and it was a big success and he went back washing dishes after he made the the film that just goes to show don't it yeah how they didn't rate them too too well um black actors in those days so you know Sydney portier was an exception he's the first Oscar winner the woman in Shane was was similar height to Allan lad and they needed him to be taller so they actually done a scene where they dug a hole and we standing the hole and had the the bottom that's what they did with um uh Tom Cruz you know just have the boxers branded after he have an eye box Richard draf they did it in one film didn't they had to dig a trench so that the trench would go higher and higher so basically he was walking with this woman and they built this trench so that it'll go higher and higher so when he got to the end he was the same height as her that's no lie was it close encounters theg was in the film yeah so um but yeah no um a lot of actors in in those days were were upset about their heights I mean Humphrey Bard was quite short compared to his leading ladies Tom him yeah and helped him with all their resources and got out the special edition of Return of the Jedi I would I would pay to go to the cinema to see his versions I would too yeah I mean I mean you have been there do you know what I mean so I he was doing he was doing some really good corre fixing continuity errors and all sorts yeah he was it's really good yeah fixing the composing that was a that they they still know Vader yeah they know him but it's it's it's but they don't you know they know the they know the character they don't know the story behind it they don't know it yeah no the funny thing is that if you watch if you watch Star Wars um his voice is much higher um and and he's almost playing it more frenetic in in certain ways right whereas there is a marked change between you know Star Wars and Empire empire is now that very you know deep voice that's that's calm and and and in control evil yeah it's it's the malice you know just that that calm malice that you're like uh oh you're going to be screwed up but do you know like I was watching a film with my niece and we watching um six cense and a bit where he says I see dead people she she she she said oh that's where it came from then we watched in Spider-Man 2 and a bit where Jameson laughed she goes oh that's where that came from do you know what I mean so it's like they only know the bits they see on the internet I mean the people only you know this generation Only Knows Dar that they've seen on Tik Tok or whatever yeah but I mean uh I I can remember like um watching um Looney Tunes um and they had um you know character comes through hey can spare dollar for American down on his luck and and he walks on and you know that it's supposed to be like Bogart but I had no idea what it was from until several years later when I saw Treasure of the SI MRE and realized oh that's what they were referencing yeah that was El mud wasn't it when he was a big producer or something I can't remember what it was he's walking past all the no I think I think it was I think it was they were like lost in the jungle or something and and and bger just kept coming by asking I remember that yeah yeah I remember that I can't remember what car that was uh question did he sell his voice to Disney he digitized it he sold his voice not sure it was to Disney um I think it was one of those AI voice companies that paid the rights his family's his family's going to be cool about that because I'm assuming all the money will go to his family now yeah this is just something comes to mind there that that as a villain Dar theater was perfect wasn't it yes yes he looked apart it sounded apart he moved just was it was all it was all you could you couldn't have done it better I don't think I think I think I think again if you go from Empire in Jedi yes I think in Star Wars they're still kind of trying to figure Vader out yeah yeah um but yeah once once Empire hits I mean where you know you just have the apology accepted captain daa and you know he's killed a guy oh he's serious yeah he ain't messing around suit was so much better in the second one than the first one his suit was very shiny and yeah sorry mate yeah it for choked somebody in the first one as well didn't they he did yeah yeah yeah but that's that's the yeah where grandma taring with the guys making fun of him uh was that Don Henderson that strangled or was it somebody else I forget no um that wasn't Don Henderson it was some it was somebody else was the other guy that he did but you you notice that in Star Wars when Darth fader walks it's not it's not a commanding walk no it's it's more rushed ptic yeah so I kerson probably told uh what's his nameen cross go guy yeah to to walk a certain way because when you watch him in in Empire he's very much in come on very much you know I mean he walks like he's going somewhere and he knows like he knows where he's going but he's not in a rush yeah yeah yeah you go Manuel Lucas killed a lot of Vaders Menace by Shon as Anakin absolutely that's where I was going the the the the prequels really done a lot of damage to V really yeah yeah well I mean you know if nothing else the final damn scene of you know Revenge of the Sith with the he's in the Vader costume and where is Padme don't ever say Padme is Vader stop that and then the no just idiotic Calon yeah rip everything just it's like it was just a [ __ ] yeah this is why I just can't I can't watch the prequels anymore because of that you know I saw them once a long time ago and I'd happily forget them because it just destroys so much of my uh image of what Star Wars is what it meant to me and we didn't need to know a lot of the backstory we didn't need to know was all I needed to know about Vader underneath the mask is that the sorry is that the biggest Star Wars crime do you think it's one of them including the Disney stuff because um it's there's there's something to be said about the audence having their own own imagination about a character if you don't give them a backstory and if especially if the character really works very very well like Darth AA I remember getting the cards they had a different um origin for dartha the back of the one of the cards said he fell in a vat and his face got burnt and that's how why he's got the suit so they changed that in the you know films went on the original Star Wars cards just said origin unknown no well one of them I think the red one said that he fell in a a vat of molten lava or some nonsense like that it said I remember reading that one um and thinking oh that's he became Dar obviously the film had changed that so that that had to have been like yeah either like Empire or or Return of the Jedi or something like that but the they had two didn't the blue cards and the red ones they so there were two only they had yellow and green in stage as well they had green and yellow as well yeah the top oh the tops no that's different the original one with the bubble gum they used to they had bubble gum yeah TOS had the bubble gum too all right did they yeah okay um I will say assuming we're still going on YouTube so when lightning in the bottle with that character wasn't it because we had ralar is incredible concept images and George Lucas's original Vision we had James will Jones was doing the voice which was mind-blowingly great the kind of the cherry on the icing and then we had Dave pra's physical presence inside the suit and it the the combination of all that together was mind-blowingly great yeah if you look as I said if you look at him in Star Wars he was very much the actor was just wandering around and then you know remember that scene in Empire when uh Luke's ship uh got away and dar just turns around with his back just walks off you know that presence of dar you well and and they and they and they set it up because it's it's Vader looks disappointed turns around everybody else looks like they're about to [ __ ] themselves and he just walks calmly away and and it's just his effect on other people is is where the medic is and anyone tells you that you can't emote with a mask on is absolute crap because that emoted so much and he didn't need to take his mask off like stupid Boba Fett to show you that he was you know he was upset you know what I mean so anyway eyes on that mask was like Jaws W you know the the bit where he talks about yeah the eyes the black eyes like a doll's eyes that kind of thing they're just so emotionless yes um who were those YouTubers who were um know area that Harrison Ford still hasn't jumped off that train is he no I mean don't care um wrenched Star Wars exploited yeah there is something to be said about they should have just stopped at returning to Jedi unless for it no they should have stopped at ret return to Jedi that's more of a problem now that they won't let they won't stop when they've had some success they just keep on beating it and beating they should have car they should have just left it or carried on yeah it's the same with every franchise now because anytime something's a success you know there's going to be more you know there's going to be more Deadpool now you know it not not everyone back to the future is still guarded by Roberts meas and Bob yeah you know we're lucky but I mean if you look like John Wick sequels and pre and spin-offs and and TV series and things and they do it with everything if it makes money they just will not let it go it's like Mo most everything stopped at a Trilogy right yeah yeah yeah three is the the George should have said to them look if it's successful do you want to do six movies and then when it got to movie four five and six it should have just farmed it out to somebody just to direct and all that stuff with it obviously overseen question is right he made the three right and it was a huge success all three of them were were big then he made the prequels right why did he need to sell it to Disney why did he even need to carry on with it why he just he didn't need the money but but why that's the question I've got ask why did he need to sell it to Disney what to get billions that's a good question or trillions he he had money he had money anyway so why why did he do it I don't I don't think go ahead Melvin it was too cheap he sold it for too little amount of money I think it's worth he proba care he probably didn't care that but the question is why did he do it because he didn't need to do it I think I think the idea is that um so to just to just run Star Wars um as a merchandising company and and all of that stuff right somebody has to run that that business and he and he didn't want to do it anymore and he wanted to make sure that it was handed off to uh somebody that he thought uh would you know take care and and preserve the Legacy and and if they want to make more stories great and you know I've got some ideas and and all that and then you know very quickly he found out oh Disney's actually pull of [ __ ] and this is a mess yeah so it was just over 4 billion yeah that's ridiculously all the amount of money you can make with that if you done it right that's like not even the box office for the two Avatar movies again he doesn't need the money he didn't need it I don't know why he said maybe he just went to offload it which fair enough yes yeah okay um Denzil Washington is paying homage to James ill Jones he's my hero my colleague theater career sorry my College theater career started because of the emperor Jones and a fellow uh sorry and a fellow with James L Jones he was everything to me as a budding actor he was who I wanted to be yep and okay he could have done it too if it hadn't been so many equalizer
