yes lockheed the afl is done and dusted but there's still plenty more footy to be played here in the west with the waffle grand final to be played here at optus stadium on saturday now more than 20 000 tickets have already been sold but tonight it's all about who's taking home the sand over medal and be crowned the best in the west now there are plenty of contenders none more so than clermont midfielder jai bolton after his standout season i've played a lot of different roles uh this year for the for the team and um yeah it's also pretty handy to have bloke like bailey rodgers in our team who probably took most of the attention for the year so let me be able to do a bit more of what i like to do as well also in contention potential mature aged afl draftee greg clark and west perth captain aaron black and bulldogs midfielder hayden schloth also expected to pull well bailey rogers i think will do really well thank you um he'll be up near the top um greg clark was really good in it in a dominant team for for a year agent lloyd had a really good start and aaron black had a um and we'll probably come home with the wet sail i'd say so yeah it'll be an interesting count but tonight if jay bolton manages to win the medal he's just one of the few to take home the sand over three times swan district's legend bill walker claiming the medal four times
