yo what is up guys this Pedro here so the Washington commanders have made a couple moves including signing a freaking nature offensive lineman to the practice squad they also have a new kicker we'll and unsubscribe so let's get right into it so the commanders signed uh rookie offensive tackle and former Howard University standout anim Dana to their practice squad uh this is Ben stck saying talk about huge the all meac selection is 6'8 and 353 lbs and I was looking at it I don't Ben stanx said he's a rookie I don't think he's a rookie actually no he is a rookie sorry I was reading the bio on uh on the kicker here uh he is not a rookie but I guess anim Dana is a rookie and so I'm looking up I'm just trying to find some more information about this guy played for Howard 23 years old and um Hometown is onario Canada again huge huge guy 360 lb 6' and uh maybe could be a developmental type of guy uh played at Howard 2021 2022 uh not sure about 2023 don't see anything listed here just looking at some of his uh stuff here I guess he did play in 2023 as well so 2019 2021 2022 and 2023 so 4 years a little bit older uh did have the pandemic year there as well developmental guy 6'8 I mean if you can develop a guy like that you can maybe have him as a extra blocker there on goal line situations or uh you know third and one fourth and one situations uh you know you can't teach 6'8 and 350 lbs uh very very few NFL players have that and it is tough you know there's a re partly there's a reason because you know they're not as quick but um if you can be quick and have that size you can be a huge asset for teams there's a reason obviously he's not signed anywhere and the commander just signed him to the practice squad but uh we've seen crazier things happen so maybe they can develop him into a developmental guy I'm not you know banking on it but I do like this type of signing a zero risk signing it's just a practice squad spot potential High reward let's talk about the commander signing the kicker Austin cyber and also a trade trade update kind of on the Kade York situation so there were conditions on that trade if he did play if he was on the roster for two games then the commanders would have to give up a seventh round pick they released him he's off the team they don't have to give up a seventh round pick and if they want to bring him back like week three or week four I'm not saying they should but if they do they can and I believe that won't that won't affect the trade because they were or he's a creation uh but they sign Austin cybert and uh yeah like I sorry going back to K York the K York experiment you know Adam Peters took a shot it didn't work out it is what it is I'm not upset with the chance he took they didn't have to give up anything at the end and uh K York got his chance it was a very very small chance he didn't really get a lot of opportunities but missed every op I mean he missed the two kicks and the out of- bounds uh kickoff so he deserved to get released uh we'll see you know good luck to him wherever he goes maybe comes back here at some point hopefully not hopefully we have it figured out by them but this is the fifth kicker for the Washington commanders since March Austin cyber hopefully I'm pronouncing that right 45 of 56 these are his career stats 4556 which is an 80% field goal percentage not good 20 uh 20 out of 20 from 30 to 39 that is I mean obviously that is very good he's perfect from that range and you want that uh 17 of 24 from 40 to 49 not sure what that percentage is but not very good let me just do the math right here 70% that's just not good from uh 40 to 49 you should be like 84 80ish like 80 plus% from that range two for six from 50 plus yard yards that's atrocious 33% there repeating and then longest field goal is 53 which is also not that good and his extra points he's 90% so which is also not good so not very uh impressed by Austin cyber but I don't know what the options would be here I really don't um but he's 27 years old 5 foot n not that that matters in 2023 he kicked one field goal for the New York Jets and then 2022 played three games 2021 played four games or sorry six games uh so really only had one full season and that was 2019 with the um Cleveland Browns and in that season he actually was pretty good 86% field goal percentage um extra points actually was bad so kind of scratched that uh and then after that was just offing on so I don't know man uh I'm not definitely not banking on him doing well if he does that's great uh we really were screwed over by the Brandon M Brandon mcmanis situation uh I'm I don't know there were allegations and I think those got res I'm not completely sure what happened there but uh we had we know we released him and we're left with you know Riley Patterson the Ahmed guy and then Kate York it just it hasn't been pretty and uh I'm not expecting this situation to be resolved anytime soon hopefully Austin cyber is good but um Joey Sly this past week for the uh Patriots I don't know how far the field goals were I know the first ones weren't that far but he was three for three on field goals I guess as long as 37 so not anything crazy but um better than what we had this past week with the with K yor uh but yeah it's a small sample size he was three for three against the Bengals um but yeah that's that's kind of it for today's video um yeah Austin cyber it's it's I'm I'm not feeling great about it uh but there's not a lot of great options maybe I'll go back to Riley Patterson who was atrocious in the preseason as well and in training camp and they're just going to have to find a kicker next off season I mean you see how Jake Moody did last or yesterday maybe they draft a kicker I have no idea and then of course we talked about it they signed offensive lineman anim Dana practice squad guy developmental guy maybe he gets developed and they call him up for a couple games at the end of the season I don't
