T obviously tough loss but your thoughts on the effort in the game today I feel like our effort was extremely well you know I'm proud of every how everybody fought um and just the different situations that we were put in you know but we have a lot to work on you know as you can see and just head out the you know mental mistakes U focus in on you know what our assignment is and just be consistent on that cam uh this program been through a few games like this over the last few years uh what's what's the locker room feel like in terms of being different and maybe responding differently this this time um we know we had a jump on them in the first half and we went Hal time think to ourselves saying to ourselves that we have to finish this game out because we had a lot of games last year that we lost by either three or six points so um it's it's in our mind it's just that these games like this we just have to work more on closing out and finishing the game plan on Gordon y'all really kind of contain can you talk about what you did uh just basically we knew that if we stop the run you know they'll make their offense scramble but at the end of the day we uh it was only so much because we still lost you and Andrew obviously had a good connection today how go was it to have him back and even though it's a really tough loss I know um how good is that maybe speak to moving forward with with you Andrew I mean I felt like our chemistry you know didn't know fall off and you know credit to him he's been in the training room you know know Monday through Sunday you know every single day he's been working and he looked you know really good you know out there on the field you know and I'm you know extremely proud of him how he fought through um you know it's dealing with the hamstring you know it's it's a lot of mental you know mental toughness that goes through that so I mean I I felt like you know our chemistry was you know second to n out there yeah you went him in some big situations when you did first downs um what do you what makes him a guy that you like like to go to he he just knows his frame you know he knows what he's good at and just the versatility um that he that he has you know whether it's a deep ball whether it's intermediate or short I know if I put it uh in his range that he's GNA he's going to catch it and that's what you know I like a you know a quarterback you know loves that in a receiver think like was telling us there were a few times where Oklahoma state was bring in more Defenders than y'all had blocker just how tough is it when they're doing that hand hand on pressure like that uh I feel like of course you know it's it's tough but you know to do a better job of you know getting the ball out um Patrina talks about you know getting my hips up and fading more um so that's just you know what we're going to work on you know get to the drawing board and you know work in practice so you know it's not going to happen again tell what was happening coach mentioned some of the St issues being on the ground what was going on there today I feel like it was just a test of you know what happened in the second half just mental errors you know I mean I'm athletic enough you know I I put put that on myself too you know to to catch the ball you know cuz the ball is the most important thing and that's what you know we're going to focus on and you know get back to practice on ni that last Drive of Regulation you guys were able to drive down get in field position field goal can you just walk us through I guess what was going on in your mind you know how stressful that might have been uh we work on it the two minute you know all the time so we're just you know going through each situation what you know coaches thinking and the plays so I mean that's what I feel comfortable you know in the situation because they do a great job of you know constantly you know what is every Wednesday or Thursday practice we do like two minutes so sit situational so Ramsey you know missed field goal before that missed one after but he hit that one s overtime I guess you know how excited were you guys on the sideline and just have another we were extremely excited but you know we know the game's not over yet you know so we just gotta you know lock in and uh you know focus on our keys k what your on how the team's going to respond to this I mean knowing that you you played well but you just didn't get one put back to the drawing board Monday you know that's all we can do just focus on the mistakes try to minimize them uh look what we did bad over better and just go from there and turn the chapter and turn the page on Monday start UAB prep uh it was a fourth and four in the fourth quarter down on like their 23 U what happened on that play you ended up running it yeah I mean it was was uh one of our Concepts that we uh you know ran some one of our bread and butter and you know I I just saw a lane and you know if I'm a take off you know I have to make sure I make the first you know that's what you know I learn you know um whether it's Fourth and forth you know I got to put my shoulder down and get the first no matter what h on on on the fix six I know there there's the H what do you remember about that plan I guess you really just couldn't get your full thrusted yeah I mean um he made a great play and you know of course it's a pick six but you know the one thing in my mind was you know it's all about my response you know um it was it was early in the game so you know I really can't do nothing about it you know after just learn from it and you know responding I know the defense is going to you know have our backs and just like we're going to have their backs so I didn't have you know any doubts of that I know you're not out there in coverage but they slipped that fall back out that guy like never catches the fall so obviously great game planned by open state but I guess were you on the field for that what do you remember the turnouts what the hell or uh I was on the field for yeah um I was rushing the passer and then the running back didn't have the ball the quarterback didn't have the ball then I seen it was like a little fle Flea Flicker you know and we knew coming in the game they was going to have like some tricks up their sleeves and then when I seen the ball go down he was wide open all I thought about was just trying to go chase him to prevent him from getting in so any more questions for the guys guys appreciate you thank like
