all right what's going on everybody Lamont Thomas Legacy maker Sports here I'm here with Ollie Jennings um Virginia Tech man I want to ask you a few things man first off how you feel about becoming a hokie and I know you talked a little bit about your recruitment process so walk us through that a little bit I'm really excited about being a hokie now it was a long journey to finally get here I had to go to West Virginia out of high school had a little bit a little bit of success there and then transferred over back into the state at Old Dominion had a lot of success there and now it's time to put my talents on the field for Virginia Tech and I can't wait to try and take over the ACC and it's gonna be it's gonna be a fun ride all right talk a little bit about um since overcoming your injury you talked a little bit about that too you average about 17 yards per catch so can you talk a little bit about what's the best part of your great uh your game is it has it been since injury has it been like stacking the DB or a little bit about you know making your Cuts Like what have you gotten better at since the injury uh things I've gotten better at is definitely my twitchiness using that at the top of my route using that to get off press using impress releases and things like that and then in between my routes being more deceptive with my speed really attacking the DB getting on his toes and making them uncomfortable and then just cleaning up my cuts it was something that I hadn't gotten to do since the injury and just making sure I still had that footwork and things like that so I think I've done a pretty good job at just polishing my game and getting better at the things that I could have cleaned up last year okay all right and lastly we talked a little about you putting on for your community right like the Holly Springs days we know that those those are big games you know on the Fridays and whatnot how do you feel about putting on for this community in Blacksburg and what are you most excited about coming on to Tech you know and showing out on on those Saturdays I'm excited to represent the community of Blacksburg it's a it's a lot of fans it's a tight-knit community and they come and support us all the time so I'm working on a few things to support them especially the the less for in the community I'm working on putting together turkey drive for the families out there and hopefully hopefully I can get it done and get some help from teammates and other organizations and I'm excited for things that come in the future for the community and how I can help them nice man all right last thing any message you got for uh hokey Nation out there Pokey Nation get ready we're about to put on a movie for you guys just tune in every week and trust us we got you there you have it uh Lamont Thomas Legacy maker Sports thank you man thank you good luck the season
